I had an amazing experience here. It was a last minute appointment and she was able to fit me in and left my beautiful pup looking and smelling gorgeous! The wash was speedy but she took her time to dry her and make her feel like a million bucks. I will be coming back every chance I get. The thing that I really appreciated was that she put me at ease. Please do NOT bring your pet here! I was about to drop off my dog when my mom and I witnessed the groomer hitting another dog. We noticed that a dog was yelling a lot while we were talking to the other worker, and we look over to see she was hitting it. The dog then slipped off the small table and she grabbed it from the back of the neck (which is extremely dangerous) to pick it back up from the floor, she then continued to be brutish with the dog. This place is MISTREATING your dogs! Response to comment: I sleep fine at night knowing I don't abuse innocent animals. There are plenty of bad reviews of this place already, and some sending pictures of their dogs with nicks throughout their body. This post is just to inform these customers what is happening to their dogs in the shop. The windows to your shop are transparent so there is a clear view of what happens inside. Your station is directly in front of the window, I know what I saw and that dog was not trying to bite you. You were working on the rear area of the dog and the dog kept moving, so I assume you got frustrated and lashed out at the dog. FYI, a SMALL dog that already has a muzzle on cannot do harm to an ADULT person, so there is no reason why we should have seen you swinging your hand, HITTING the dog. read more

I took both of my dogs and got them back the same way I would never recommend or come back here unless you wanna just get your money robbed. Had to take our pet at Pawfect Express Pet Spa a week after we adopted her from Baldwin Park Animal Shelter, because I want her to be super clean (coat, ears, private parts, and nails clipped), as I was afraid of pet lice, etc. I scouted for various pet care on Yelp and gave Pawfect Express Pet Spa a try as it's only a stone's throw away from our house. I am very happy with their service. They definitely exceeded my expectations as Rosie came back very, very clean , nails clipped, and smelled really nice (added bonus as the perfume is not too strong for my sensitive nose). On top of great value service, they even took a photoshoot of her with other pets they have served. Funny she was given a necktie, which made her look like a boy (my cousin said), but it's A-ok, as she is still cute as a button plus I know she is a girl so it doesn't matter what others think of her. I used to love coming here until today. It seems the groomers who used to be here are no longer here. It's just the owner. But as I dropped off my dog, I was sitting in the parking lot and all I see is her locking up the door and going into her car. I asked her what she was doing if she was gonna leave my dog by himself she said she was going to the DMV because she needed to take her son. I don't know. I feel like that is definitely unprofessional. I feel bad for like the other dogs that are inside this building there is at least four. I'm really disappointed with my experience at this groomer. My regular groomer was unavailable for the holidays, so I decided to try this place based on its generally positive reviews, overlooking a few red flags. I made it very clear that I wanted a deshedding treatment and a light trim on the tail for my Australian Shepherd. I even wrote these instructions on the sign-in sheet they have to ensure there was no misunderstanding. After the groom, I received a 2 pictures of my 2 dogs. They only sent a photo of the Australian Shepherd's face, which looked fine, so I said they looked cute. However, when I picked them up, it was clear that the service was not as described. My smaller dog was still very matted in the stomach area, and my Australian Shepherd had not been deshedded at all. The owner claimed I hadn't mentioned the deshedding over the phone, despite admitting she saw it in writing on the sign-in sheet. Instead of correcting the issue themselves the right way, or even communicating about the problems beforehand, she was dismissive and unprofessional. She only wanted to explain what had happened after the fact that my husband left an upset review for not completing the service properly. She actually told me, "I don't need you to come back, I have enough customers", and didn't offer a single apology. This place is incredibly unprofessional, and I would not recommend it to anyone. My regular groomer was on vacation for the holidays. that is why we picked this spot. But never again will I bring my dogs back here! I've been taking both my dogs here and never disappoint at all. Worth every penny I spent here! I have two huskies and they have so much fur and shed so much when they are done, my dogs come looking 10 pounds lighter and they look so clean and smells so good the dog perfume they spray afterwards! I love how they took the time to dragged and dry and my dog really well. My older husky has always been pretty difficult when other strangers try to groom her. I took her to petco once and they had to deny grooming services because she was barking to much. And a lot of places I try to take her to groom don't want to have her in a muzzle for the entire time of the groom. This place is fine with it. She only wears the muzzles to groom and the vet and I always smear peanut butter and pumpkin on the crevices to keep her busy. But over I love this place. I left Pawfect Express Pet Spa feeling quite disappointed. The facility was noticeably unclean, which immediately raised concerns about their hygiene standards. I had initially scheduled a full grooming. I understand that the service was cut short because the groomer was bitten by another customer's dog--accidents happen--but it still left me feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. I was charged $30 per dog for an incomplete service. My dogs were still wet from the wash and I don't think I should not have been charged at all considering it wasn't a complete job. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! I recently brought my golden retriever, Maya, to this groomer for what was supposed to be a standard two-hour session. It quickly turned into a nightmare. I arrived on time to pick her up after two hours, only to be told it would take an additional 15 minutes because Maya had an accident and needed another wash and dry. I waited patiently, but 15 minutes later, they informed me of yet another delay due to a second accident. Finally, nearly an hour later, they carried her out to my car acting like nothing happened even though I noticed the groomer's concerned look. Maya was heavily panting, but I assumed it was due to the extended session. Once we got home, Maya's behavior was completely out of character--she cried out in pain whenever we tried to pet her on the left side of her body and seemed distressed. We became extremely concerned and rushed her to urgent care. When I contacted the groomer about her injuries, they acted oblivious, suggesting Maya was just scared of the blowdryer and claimed they would "ask the bather." While they agreed to cover the vet bill, they refused to refund the grooming service, saying the bather would lose his commission if they did. The vet diagnosed her with a pinched nerve/pulled muscle and when they shaved the affected area, they found lesions on her skin, likely due to cuts or burns from the grooming tools. It was horrifying to discover that she had suffered so much during what was supposed to be a routine appointment. It breaks my heart to see my dog in pain, especially since she now needs pain medication and an ointment that's uncomfortable to apply due to her injuries. Maya deserves better, and no pet owner should have to go through this. We will never be bringing her back here, and I strongly urge other pet owners to avoid this place if you care about your furry friends' safety. read more
