Came by this place on 12/9 as I was searching for a same day groomer for my doggy. This place was super friendly over the phone and in person and was willing to give my dog a much needed grooming same day! Price was decent unpaid $50 for a works service ( haircut, teeth brushing and nail trimming) which is way better than other groomers who have charged me way more for the same service. Only giving 4 stars though as the staff there was not covid compliant (no masks) during my service. Other than that everything was great.

I think I found my next new pet grooming. I always have had a hard time with getting my dogs face cleaned up everyone pretty much f*** it up. They did a great job!!! The place is not your typical beautiful and elegant grooming, but it's cute and cozy. And I will for sure return again! Thanks!!!!!!!

This was my first time taking my cat to Kanine Kabin after a recommendation from my cousin. Nala was really in need of some grooming with matted hair on her chest. I would usually keep up with my cat's grooming, but couldn't keep up this time around with a busier schedule, so I was nervous about taking her somewhere. My worry was put to rest! They did an amazing job removing the mats, deshedding her, and gave me info about flea protection. My cat's coat is now soft and untangled. Best of all, they were really nice about everything, which is truly appreciated these days. Initially, I was confused about the price as my cat is a larger breed than was anticipated, but they were more than happy to accommodate the situation without me even needing to ask. If you're on the fence about taking your beloved pet to get groomed or debating about grooming your pet yourself, I recommend giving this place a try. It's way cheaper than other places and you can tell that they care about animals! It was also easy to arrange a time for an appt, even when I was running late. I'll definitely spread the word and plan to come back when my cat is in need of another round of grooming. :)

Wendy is the best always has our 3 Yorkie los looking amazing. Diva, chili and Draq Love Wendy and the other women who help her out. Wendy is so nice and professional I wouldn't trust anyone else with my babies. We have also left them with Wendy over the weekend for boarding I trust her 100%!!!

It's a very tiny grooming place that gets very busy. I was anticipating a good outcome since they get about 20-30 dogs on a Saturday. I dropped off my dog at 9:30 and didn't get a call that she was done until 3:00pm that's quite a long time. I was worried about her being hungry/thirsty. I told the lady not too short. She put down a "7" I'm assuming that was groomer language for how short. Well don't get a 7 if you want to have a shaved down dog. My poor baby was naked when I got her. I couldn't expect much though because I wasn't used to their grooming styles. 3 stars for good price. $35 vs 50+ else where for my 3lb fiesty maltese.

This place is my dogs second home !!! My pitbull loves these ladies and always comes home so Squeaky clean. I love how they are very hands on and actually love the animals! They're definitely not in it for the money they're in it for the animals and You can so tell!!! They have so many customers so book in advance is the best idea. Took my Westie in today for his first time being groomed and I love the way he looks . I been to Kanine Kabin years before with my previous dog and back then they were awesome and they are still super awesome . Very nice and friendly and very welcoming :). They did an EXCELLENT job! They listened and gave my girl Darla the royal treatment. A previous groomer traumatized my pup and really screwed up her beautiful fur. But now, she's amazing!

Took our dog here based on a referral and was very pleased. I called to ask for an earlier appointment if there were any cancellations and was contacted via text that one was available. I also received a text reminder which I appreciated, these days those reminders can be golden. Our pup was a mess and I was very pleased with the friendly service, cute grooming, absolutely loved the cute scarf and bow , not to mention affordable prices. I enjoy supporting small business whenever I can. I'll bring her back and certainly recommend their service. read more

Been going to Kanine Kabin for several years and very pleased with them every visit. My pet Gypsy looks good and comes home with her same personality. I hear horror stories from other locations and very glad I have not run into one with my Gypsy. Staff is always sweet and friendly and always remember to greet Gypsy. Please call ahead for appointments. They work only with appointments and no more walk ins. Call in advance as they are starting to fill up spots faster. Here it is another year later and the owner and her staff are still doing amazing jobs on my Miley, Brooklyn and Sadie. I drive from Inglewood to them in Long Beach once a month. Some months twice depending on what's going on. If you love your fur babies and you treat them like family. This is the place to take them for grooming!!! read more

I have been taking Lil Ms Diva to Kanine Kabin for quite sometime.. and every visit im am more than satisfied of their work. Once you walk in through that door Wendy always greets us with a big smile .. and def takes the time to talk to u and suggesting the best cut for your fur baby .. Ms Diva enjoys going to get pampered .. I wouldnt take My Baby anywhere .. Def recommend for you to give it a try .. they take Walk-ins yet its better to make an appointment because they do get booked read more

By far the best groomer we have taken our babies to! Rocky had a really bad experience at a national chain's grooming place. I had a really hard time trusting anyone that would treat my fur baby with care and not hurt them. We've been coming to Kanine Kabin for years now! So kind and accommodating. They called and took my baby at the last minute. My baby is a little older in age so she's very timid about being dropped off with unfamiliar faces. From the moment she was received I had a good feeling about this place and their work. The lady that took her told me she loved yorkies and hat she had two of her own. Look no further; this place is it. I brought my maltipoo in because he was a stinky mess. I don't know what he gets into sometimes lol I was asked what kind of cut I wanted for him, they took him in and in just a few hours, they gave me a call to let me know he was ready. Wow, he looked so damn cute and well groomed, I couldn't help but talk to him in that annoying high pitched voice people make to show their pets affection :D I came here because of all the great reviews. This place exceeded my expectations. It may look a little rough from the outside but believe me when I say it's a diamond in the rough. They'll take really good care of your pet here. I called in on a Thursday afternoon and they gave me an appointment for the next morning! The price was awesome! $20 for my Frenchie, Frida i got there a bit late to my appointment but the kind lady in the front took her in and put her next in line since she was only going to take a few minutes and i asked if she could keep her there for longer and she said yes! It was perfect for me since i was going to work and someone else was picking her up. she looked great after her bath/groom. I'll definitely be returning. read more

How very diplomatic of you. It's unfortunate you don't practice that diplomacy in your business. BTW, you don't know anything about me or my appointments. That's hysterical. Also why would I be frustrated walking into your shop? We were appalled at your behavior. Product is important, but customer service is just as important. Sadly yours could use a lot of improvement, to say the least. They might have courses for that. You should look into it. Best of luck. read more

This is the best place to take your dog to get groomed. I have taken my dog there and he loves it. He always comes home looking amazing! Wendy takes such good care of each dog. She is patient and can handle any job. I will keep going to her and I suggest you take your doggies to her too! read more

I have taken my 2 dogs to this place. Never fails me. Some times I don't even know how to explain to them how I want their hairs to be cut, so I tell them just make them pretty and they do!! Best place to take your dog. The service is great. Everyone seems so nice there. I highly recommend this place to everyone. I trust them. read more

This has been my regular spot for my dogs's nail trimming for a while now. I have never had any issues and they're usually always quick (: The owner is very nice and will usually add a bandana if there's like an upcoming holiday. Recently, i forgot to switch my dog's flea medication and he had a few fleas running around as a result. As a working student, I could not wait until the flea medication came in. I seldom get a day off both work and school so I had to get my dogs nails trimmed that day. The owner was nice enough to give me a chance and not charge me the flea fee. This is why I continue recommending Kanine Cabin. They really enjoy their work and do it for the animals instead of the money. read more

She's usually shy around new people and I wasn't sure how she would be getting a hair cut but when I came to pick her up she was happy and excited. Open on a Sunday and took my dog in with no appointment. Very nice lady grooming that day but she definitely needs some help. It got a bit busy so we waited a bit longer than usual. The cut on my schnauzer was nice and the area was clean read more

I tried to find another groomer and even thought about learning it myself and then I read amazing reviews about Soggy Dog. I called them and we spoke in detail about Cheech and our last experiences. They brought him in early as the first appointment to ease him into this new environment. After just one appointment he was better! Now, almost a year into being regulars at Soggy Dog, Cheech RUNS to the door when we get there! He LOVES everyone there and so do I! I can't wait to go there either! You can tell Ricky truly enjoys what he does. It's not just a job for him, it's a craft, and it shows in the results every time. My dog is always happy when I drop him off, and when I pick him up he's clean, fresh, and looking great. The service usually takes about an hour, which is perfect. Quick but still quality. The shop is a small facility, but honestly that's part of what I like about it. It feels personal, direct, and focused. Ricky does what he does, and he does it WELL. Only downside is parking is bad, but it's a drop-off and pick-up situation, so it's manageable. Pro tip: book in advance because everyone wants his services, and once you go, you'll understand why. My Bichon/mini poodle has a super fluffy coat, and I love keeping him in that cute teddy bear style, but most groomers end up shaving him way too short despite my requests. From the very first phone call with Signal Hill Pet Grooming, I knew I had found the right place. The receptionist was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making the appointment process so easy. When we arrived, the groomer, Gloria, greeted us warmly, really listened to what I wanted, and immediately understood exactly what my pup needed. When I picked him up, I was blown away. He looked AMAZING--calm, happy, and honestly like he didn't even want to leave. I love that they're kennel-free, so the dogs aren't locked up before or after grooming. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. This was hands-down the best haircut he's ever had. Not a single nick or cut (which sadly has happened at other groomers), and the entire staff made me feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. It was a last minute appointment needed for the little pup and with the help of Yelp, we found Sara. I put in a searched which came up with places for what I was looking for. There were a few places that came up but she was the first to reach out. The sweet conversation explained what I was looking for and she replied professionally with what services they offered. Between a few back and forth we were able to get him in last minute. She squeezed us in day off which we were very thankful of. The place itself was in a mini strip mall with a few other businesses. A thrift/vintage shop, a bar, a few coffee shops, hair salon and nail shop. There's a decent size parking lot but when we arrived it was packed but lucky enough to find a spot. When we walked in, it was a little confusing as it was a vet. The ladies behind the counters were all sweet when we checked in but wasn't sure we were at the right place. Well, it's a vet and groomers on site. It was just a couple minutes wait till Sara came out to greet us. First off, she's such a doll and sweetheart. Very professional and takes pride in what she does. Chatted with here for a little bit about what we wanted before handing over the little pup to her. We were quoted about 2 and half hour or so which she'll call us 20 minutes before hand to let us know he'll be ready soon. Freddie Mercury was in good hand. Picking him up, he was such a cutie. The bathing, cut and grooming was great. Nails were cut and file for that nice finished look. Also he had the cutest little bow tie on which was the little icing on the cake. From the chat on Yelp, Sara explained all the pricing and services ahead of time to give us the breakdown. As it was our first time, she did take good care of us with everything. Total for everything and extra add on including gratuity and discounts for first time, it was just short of 130.00. Price wise for everything was good. It was worth it and her service was very well worth it. Even though we're not from the area and it was a last minute appointment, we're keeping her in our book as we'll be back in town again and know Freddie will be in good hands next time. The place was very professional and clean. There's a drinks section with a mini fridge of drinks and a water station for refilling your bottles and coffee machine. It was busy which is great for them. Sara, a professional and sweet person who has a special skills for what she does. Friendly, sweet and a doll. Highly recommend Sara.

I usually don't book my appointments until the week of, and noticed they do get booked quickly. So…read morethat's on me. But my doodle girl always looks fluffy and amazing when she comes in for maintenance grooming. We are currently scheduled for a full Summer cut and make note - they only take a limited amount of doodles since they take a longer time to groom. Hence, the appointments are more difficult to get for us. It's not located in the nicest area and often times, there is poop on the street walking to the groomers. I do wish they would clean up that part of the neighborhood more. In summary, they do a great job. My girl smells great when I pick her up and their prices are reasonable. I did the walk of shame today as I walked into kanine kabin. The young lady at the shop made me feel welcome and did not make me feel ashamed of the condition my dog was in. My mom has been real sick and we just didn't have time to tend to our little hyper poodle Missy. She was such a disaster. Windy was the young lady that took care of Missy today and when I picked her up I didnt even recognize her. She was so understanding and sweet I really recommend her to everybody. What a great job and her prices were awesome. I already set up my next 2 appointments so my fur friend does not end up like this again. Took Munchies in to get groomed today for the first time I was recommended by my neighbor who swears by this place so gave them a try. She was so scared at first so I was worried to leave her anywhere by herself but they made me feel secure because they were so nice. When I picked her up she looked fantastic and the cute bow was a plus. They deserve more than 5 stars for the simple fact that when I went to take her from the shop owner she wanted to stay with her and kept trying to jump out of my arms to get back to her. This told me that she was treated with love and that's all I wanted for my puppy. Thanks girls I will be recommending you to everyone read more

I took my pup here and she came back looking so good! The groomer is absolutely the sweetest and amazing at communicating. I will always recommend this place to others because they're just so trust worthy and reliable. Took Sandy here for the first time and our overall experience was good. The place opens at 9:30am and they take walk ins on a first come first serve basis. I highly recommend getting there early, we arrived at 9:45 and Sandy was #5 in line, therefore she wasn't done until almost 2pm. For the price however, I can't complain. She's a 10 lb dog and we were only charged $35 and as you can see they threw in ribbons. read more

Absolutely love the Kabin. Great prices...great work...and great attitudes. Wendy has been my groomer for over 5 years and I have never had a complaint.
