This time, it was the kitchen sink faucet which started spraying all kinds of water from the underside faucet mounting whenever the water was turned on. I assumed the faucet was shot and would need to be replaced, so I called for a plumber. After calling 7 (seven!) plumbers and getting no response from 6 and 1 message that they could come out in about a week, I finally called Cascade Plumbing and they came out the very next morning. The plumber was a quiet old dude, but clean, competent and professional. He was also honest! Instead of up-charging me for a new faucet, he told me that the existing faucet might not have been installed properly (big surprise from Eastbrook.) He explained what was wrong and was able to fix it right then and there. No replacement was needed and the charge was minimal. This company exceeded my expectations. I will be calling Cascade if I need plumbing services in the future!

He showed me that the drain was deteriorating and needed to be replaced. In order for me to use my basement bathroom and sink he said the drain would have to rerouted and a crock and pump put in. The next day Cy and his crew came out to tear out the concrete and install new plumbing the crock and pump. They worked really hard and was here about 12 hours. It was a lot of hard work. But they forgot to put a piece of wood back in front of the toilet so there's a good size hole there. It's not safe to use this toilet now. I also think they forgot to cap the old drain because I can smell the sewer when I'm in the basement. These guys did a lot of hard work. All of them were very polite and nice. I need these things taken care of. I have called the office twice the receptionist told me each time that the manager would call me back. I have also emailed them no response. My complaint is the manager isn't doing his job to get this taken care of. I realize it's the guys mistake in not replacing the board and putting the cap on the drain. I'm sure Cy would correct this if his boss informed him. They need new management.

They requested pics of the breaker box so they could determine what size we needed. They called the day before to remind me of the appointment which I appreciated. Don arrived at 11:50. Took his shoes off before walking through the house. Very nice man and easy to talk to. He suggested a less expensive way to get the work done. We received the estimate two days later and it was reasonable. The work was scheduled less than two weeks later. We decided we wanted a plumbing hookup and they sent someone out in a couple days with a quote following a few days later. Lisa called a day or two before each appointment as reminders. The electrical and plumbing teams arrived at 8:30 to start the project. They worked all day and at the end of the day, the owner's son was trying to put back together a small garden area they had to dig through to get to the water source. I told him he didn't have to do that but I really appreciated his effort. The work they did was exemplary and I would highly recommend them for your electrical and plumbing needs.

They kept promoting the 90 day warranty, which I did not care about. Apparently, there was a coupon, so they gave me $30 off. Later, I found a $75 dollar off coupon online. All in all, I should have rented a motorized snake for $30 from Home Depot and did the job myself. The service was prompt, adequate quality but way too expensive.
