They installed our washer and dryer in under 24 hours. It was such high quality and their team was great in consulting us on the pros/cons of what they had available. Felt like we had our own expert giving us real advice on what to spend money on vs. not. We were so happy with their customer service, speed and care that we ordered with them again! This time to replace our broken dishwasher. And again, in under 24 hours, they were here and everything was installed. After two great experiences, we decided to order the LG craft ice fridge from them...honestly, it was because we had such a good experience. I ordered this on late Wednesday night, and their Customer Service representative made sure this made it into the Thursday installation schedule. The installers even uninstalled our old refrigerator and hauled it off through our narrow doors. If I didn't have these guys here to help, that old refrigerator would be stuck in our house. You have to slow down and look at each item individually, or you can zip right past something cool in the scanning process. But it's nice to be able to actually see and feel a product before ordering it online, so it's worth the effort. The staff was busy at the counter with other customers, so it was hard to get help that day beyond a friendly greeting. But I did find out that they have far more options available online than what is displayed there. Prices, barring a sale, range from mid to high. I didn't find anything that called out to me that day, and I didn't have time to deal with online ordering, but I'll definitely check them out in advance for future projects. No appointment necessary, and they do have weekend hours.

Kirk at Appliance Associates had the Speed Queen units I wanted -- a matching front-load washer and…read moredryer -- right on his showroom floor! The transaction went smoothly. He wanted to be certain that the "Ten Year Parts and Labor Warranty" special advertised on Speed Queen's website applied to the washer (he worried that it only applied to the dryer) so while he waited for confirmation I went around the corner to eat lunch. When I came back, he had the paperwork for that special deal (if purchased by Sept. 30, 2019) for BOTH units, so I signed on the dotted line. The units were delivered two days later and the installation crew was courteous, professional, and went out of their way to make sure everything was working right. The units have been running beautifully, and when I registered them with Speed Queen I received the Ten Year Parts & Labor Warranty I was looking for! It'll be nice not to have to spend a penny on repairs for the next ten years. I'm SO glad I didn't go to one of the big box stores, because my first instinct was to replace my old Maytag Neptune units with new Maytag machines, but Maytag simply isn't what they once were. If you want reliable quality, you go Speed Queen, and Appliance Associates was a great place to buy the best (and at prices BELOW what anyone else, even on the Internet, were offering!).

(4) They also repair for hire even if you didn't buy from them. CONS: (1) Prices not marked anywhere. You have to ask about the price for each and every unit on the floor. (2) Some units are overpriced. It's up to you to figure out whether the price is right. Help figuring: Figure a new appliance will last about 12 years. If it costs $500 new, that's $42 per year of life. So an appliance that's 7 years old should be worth 5 x $42 = $210. But the 7-year-old fridges I saw at 3PA that would be $500 new are priced around $300, and are all banged up, and come with only a 3mo. warranty vs. 1Y new. So, those fridges weren't a good deal, at least when I went, but the price on the range I bought was fantastic. YMMV.
