The store personally and product selection were excellent. My installation was awful. The delivery/install individual was a taciturn man, who appeared anxious to do as little as possible. This individual hooked up both machines and opened the door to leave, I pushed on the washer and observed that it was rocking on the mounting pads. I advised the installer that the machine was not level. His answer, "THAT is a heavy machine!". I agreed, but stated that he maybe should have brought a helper. Not willing to have him leave the machine for me to level; I helped him lift and adjust the leveling feet. After he left, I discovered that he had totally botched the dryer vent installation. There was an extending periscope type duct, that mounted to the machine vent, then went behind the machine and extended the vent to the top of the machine. This allowed for the machine to be placed closer to the wall. This cretin, loosely zip tied the flexible duct tubing to the machine, then zip tied the extendable vent tube to this tubing, then zip tied ceiling vent to top of periscope vent, and dropped the periscope vent in it's entirety, behind the machine. He then left, leaving the dryer about 8 inches from the wall, and without making the water connection for the steam dryer. At 76years old, I wrestled the machine away from the wall to correctly install the vent apparatus; the machine was then placed back into position. It now sits 3" from wall. It is almost level, but i cannot raise it to correctly level it. There is still NO water connection to the dryer. If i had known the installation would be so terrible, i would NOT have purchased the washer and dryer units.​ read more

I bought a washer and drier from them 2.5 months ago the first week the motor went out in the washer. I called I texted them and no response for over a week then when we did get ahold of them they said it would be another week until they can bring us a temporary washer so they can fix our. They brought us a washer and never brought back the washer we actually bought and it's been 2 months. now the washer we have is not working I called them and they said they would be there Tuesday, no one showed up or called to say we won't make it today. We work, our children go to school we need to wash our clothes. This is bull crap. do not buy from this company if you want appliances that work, or the ones you actually buy. I am so pissed off I should have just bought something new. they tell you they do services on them to make sure they work before you buy them but it's apparent they do not. I would NOT recommend Five Brothers Appliance based on my experience. I found them through Facebook while looking for a washer and dryer. I selected the set I wanted and scheduled delivery for two days later, on Sunday, with a delivery window of 10 AM-2 PM. The entire delivery window passed with absolutely no communication. I messaged them 2-3 times asking for an update and when they would be arriving. They ultimately showed up about an hour and a half late. When the delivery driver arrived, he immediately started the washer before I even had an opportunity to properly inspect it. He showed me that the washer was cycling and allowed me to feel that the dryer was heating, then left. About an hour later, after the washer finished, I kept noticing a horrible smell in my laundry area. I was in the process of moving and going back and forth putting things away, so I initially couldn't figure out where it was coming from. When I finally bent down and inspected the washer closely and opened it, I discovered SEVERE mildew and an awful odor. On top of that, both the washer and dryer had significantly more cosmetic damage than what was shown in the photos online. I immediately took pictures and contacted the company. They acted as though they were unaware the washer was in that condition and offered to come clean it. At that point, I declined. A washer being sold and delivered in that condition should have been properly inspected and cleaned BEFORE it ever reached a customer's home. I requested that they simply come back and pick up the set. Between the missed delivery window with no communication, the condition of the appliances being substantially worse than advertised, and receiving a washer with severe mildew and odor, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not purchase from Five Brothers Appliance again and cannot recommend them based on my experience. read more

When I first ordered from Five Brothers, I got a washer and dryer. The washer immediately was leaking in the dryer wasn't drying. The second washer and dryer got from them had a ton of mold in it and I had them come out and clean it and they still didn't get all of the mold out. When I asked if they cleaned their appliances before giving them to people, they shrugged their shoulders and said what do you mean clean them? I've had my new washer and dryer (the ones that have mold in them) for about six months and I just realize these idiots put the dryer vent on with zip ties instead of proper dryer vent ties and so now I have mold behind my entire dryer and in my walls and throughout my ducts. Nice guys. obviously don't recommend. I would ask them to come out and fix it, but I don't even trust them to touch it at this point. read more

I bought a washing machine, but it didn't work very well. The clothes didn't always come out clean. When I went into speak to the manager he told me the machine was fine, it was my expectations that were off. He told me that different people had differing ideas of what "clean" meant. He said he would trade the washer out for a different one, but after four weeks he hadn't found a comparable one to offer me. I asked for a refund and he told me that he couldn't offer a refund on a machine that he knew was working well. It was still under 90 day warranty but how do you hold people accountable? I gave up. I went to Five Brothers to just see what they had to offer as far as a new fridge that maybe had a few dents or scratches and hopefully a better price. What we got was great service from the 1st communication with Sam answering all my questions via chat. Then we in to their new warehouse (still getting set up) and found the fridge we wanted. It had some dents in the corner of the freezer drawer. Julian and Jorden started to find the same drawer on another fridge that they could swap out for us. Which they did and we couldn't be happier. They delivered the fridge, set it up and made sure everything was working. They even took my 26 year old fridge with them so I didn't have to pay someone to pick it up. Overall I would highly recommend going online or to their store to find great prices on scratch/dent units. Ours looks brand new and is working great. Update: The owner called. He was polite and understanding, and gave me a refund, so I updated to review from 1 to 4 stars. If my entire experience had been like the communication with the owner, I would have recommended this business. They were nice at the store, but the dryer they sold me did not work from the first time I used it. When I contacted them about it (the next day as soon as they opened) they often left me unanswered until I followed up multiple times. They finally informed me to would come fix it "Sunday." No options, no timeframe. When I asked for a window they said 10-2. By 11:30 I hadn't heard any confirmation so I asked for an update, and was told it would be 12-3. They didn't show up, did not tell me they were running late. Didn't hear anything until I messaged at 3 saying nobody had come and I had to leave, as I had scheduled my day around them coming 10-2. 3:15 I get a message to "confirm" I was home. I was not. They "don't do refunds." Nonfunctional product, poor service. They didn't even apologize. Honestly I wouldn't have even been upset that it hadn't worked at first if they had fixed it and communicated with me respectfully. read more

Update...... Manager finally got back to me and took care of the fridge issues, they stood by their product. It took a while and a few fridges but we now have a perfectly working fridge and they also honored their extended warranty that I purchased, that is 1 year from delivery date, and the warranty is on the date the new fridge was delivered with was 9/22/25. I bought an oven which worked about five times and then failed and then I had them replace it with a stove that worked once and then failed and I gave up and bought a new one from home Depot. The customer service was almost non-existent. I spent many days and hours waiting for them to show up and waiting for them to call me back and then when they do it's just really bad equipment and all they want to talk about is the way they were treated. The tech came in and didn't know how to start the burners. He was clicking them for about 5 minutes when I finally showed him what to do and I was told that he has 15 years has a professional.
