Absolutely top notch service and work. I had an oven issue and contacted American Home Shield, my home warranty company for service. The orignal company that was scheduled had horrible reviews. I called American Home Shield and requested a different vendor. The agent listed off a few vendors and I chose Maple Leaf Mechanical based on the Yelp reviews. Within the hour, a representative from Maple Leaf contacted me to schedule an appointment. Robert, the owner operator came within the scheduled time and carefully diagnosed the issue. Robert took the time to check the entire unit and did not rush through. He completed his assessment and advised the main board was faulty and that he would notify my home warranty company to order parts. A few days later, i was contacted again that the part was in and ready to install. My appointment was set and again, Robert came within the scheduled time frame. Robert installed the part, confirmed everything was working and explained everything that was done. This is long winded, but i just wanted to get across how refreshing it was to have a professional take their time to schedule, diagnose and repair the issue, all while keeping us in the loop. While my dishwasher was fixed a screw was left out requiring me to finish the repair myself. You can see below how the kickplate was not properly attached and I had to bend it back into place and find a screw to attach it properly. While this repair was minor to do it is sad it was not resolved. Especially after paying almost $500 to get it repaired. I contacted them several times to no avail as well about this and more information my insurance needed. After 2 weeks they never came or responded to my final request. I would love to recommend a small business like this but I sadly can't Their lack of response to my questions could cost me $1000 deductible with my home owners insurance. read more

Thank You Robert. Aside from the initial you came out on the date and time promised and delivered stellar work. Your professionalism and customer service oriented approach comes as a breath of fresh air. We had been experiencing some issues and delays with a few other contracted vendors with our 'Home Warranty (HWA) which ended up dragging the claim out longer then was necessary. KJ Repairs set it in motion by putting in the assessment for a new dishwasher that had run it's course, but within less than a few day's they were suddenly not reachable. When the home warranty contacted them back when the new dishwasher unit arrived and ready for installation after several attempts made by myself and the Warranty co KJ never responded. My experience dealing with repair companies hasn't always been the greatest experience. However, my experience with Maple Leaf has restored my faith that there are still great reputable companies out there. I spoke with Robert, who was very nice on the phone, and we made the appointment for repair. Robert showed up on time, he was extremely courteous and he did the work in no time. Also, the price was VERY fair. Repair companies know they have you, so sometimes they really gouge you on the pricing. But, I was pleasantly surprised at Robert's quote and he stuck to with no attempt to up-sell product and no hidden fees. We couldn't be happier with the service we received from Robert at Maple Leaf Mechanical. We called him to install a dishwasher at a house we had just purchased, and he scheduled the visit within a few days of the call. After he arrived, we asked him to also look at the garbage disposal because we noticed a small leak...unfortunately for us, the disposal was at the end of its life, but he had one on his truck with him and installed it with the dishwasher. So happy with the service I received from Maple Leaf Mechanical. Bob, the technician was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He quickly figured out the problem, had the part on his truck and installed it. Not only that, but when he was fixing the dryer he noticed that it needed a good cleaning out. So he took out the drum of our dryer and vacuumed it all out. He told me that since he had it apart he could not put it back together with good conscience unless he gave it a quick vacuum. Maple Leaf is awesome. In February, the heating element of my oven was keeping on even though I had turned the oven off. That triggered the oven fan turning on all night. The next day, I contacted Robert for help. He responded me promptly and told me how to shut it off completely before he came. The issues were diagnosed quickly and solved after new parts were replaced. In April, my washer doesn't drain out on its own. Again, I contacted Robert with detailing the issues. Robert explained what was going on via texts. He came out with wet vacuum. That took him lots of time to suck the water out of the washer. He did it very carefully without any water dripping down the floor. After replacing new parts, all test sequences were done thoroughly to make sure all the issues were solved before he left. The entire work was done very neatly and professionally. Just a few days ago, my gas range had some error code and cannot turn on. I asked Robert for help. He messaged me on how to fix it. It worked out perfectly There was no cost or fee charged. Very pleased with Maple Leaf's service..very honest, courteous knowledgable and competent on his profession.
