I asked some questions about concerns we had and maintenance and the man obliged in answering but was dismissive about it. Day or two before received additional confirmation for my time slot. Day of was notified that the technician that was scheduled for me was sick but that they could do next day, which was also fine. One company came out and told me needed to replace the "box" and clean the ducts for $3800, however there's no way the box can be replaced without tearing open walls. Austin Breeze showed up and confirmed no way to change the box but cleaned all the components, the area, identified another need that we missed (need cleanout line cleaned). Had a technician come out to evaluate our air duct system and give us an estimate. The technician…read morewas out here roughly 10 minutes at most, checked two attics and told us we had mold and that it would require a major cleaning and sanitation. He first showed me the picture he took of our downstairs attic and then the part that to me was very hinky was when I asked to see the picture of the second unit, it took him several minutes of scrolling through his phone to find another picture that showed a moldy unit. (If the picture was just taken it would've been right there next to the first picture.) Estimate was over 3K. I had another company come out two days later and they said we had no mold and the estimate $1100. I'm going with the second company who spent 30 minutes going over everything and making sure that they provided an accurate estimate versus the service we got from Clean Air Pro. The other major negative was the person didn't even put up the stairs back to the attics and left my back door open to the garage.
