After calling several appliance repair companies one of these companies actually referred me to Santana"s Appliance which I thought was an indication of how well they are though of by their competition. I gave them a call and was able to schedule an appointment almost immediately. The tech came over and immediately diagnosed the problem with my LG refrigerator and once the parts came in they set up another appointment the day after and completed the work . The refrigerator auto defrost function is back to operating normally thanks to Santana"s Appliance. read more

An excellent company to do business with. They sent a technician named Caleb who was extremely knowledgeable about fridge repair. I showed him a video indicating the loud running noise and temp gauges I had placed in my GE fridge. Before he even looked at it, he knew what the problem was. He placed a light inside the fridge and closed the door, revealing a large gap between the french doors. The left door has a closure strip that should have sealed the gap, but it was not properly adjusted at the factory and was not closing. He adjusted the strip and immediately the fridge ran better and quieter. By evening the temp was where it should be. I had been putting up with ice cubes melting together and ice cream in the freezer looking like a soft smoothie. My recommendation.....call them and ask for Caleb. You'll be glad you did. read more

We had a second refrigerator that would shut off. Fearing a really expensive repair job, I called Santana's Appliance Repair to inquire about the minimum service charge amount. It was reasonable plus it would be applied towards the repair cost if I chose to proceed. Very quickly Caleb came out & was able to determine the part that was failing and causing the issue. They would need to order the part but it would only take a few days to get it, and he estimated the cost at less than $60. A couple days later Caleb called & said he found the part, so we set up a time for him to come over. He did a terrific job and the repair cost ended up being under $200. read more

They are outstanding about letting you know when their technician will be available. But, I want to brag on Caleb, this young man made several trips to my home to fix a washing machine that was under warranty. He was always professional and courteous and explained everything in detail. The issue I had was my breaker kept tripping I contacted builder and had 3 breakers installed and they re-wired the receptacle and still the washer continued to trip. I finally called an electrician and he changed out the breaker for the 4th time and Caleb replaced the mother board on the washer. So far everything is working. However, none of this was the fault of Caleb, as stated earlier he's been very professional and courteous each time he was at our home. Hire this company. Rafael is awesome. He has come out twice to try to figure out an issue with our frontloading Bosch washer. The first time he came out, the noise it was making was not present. He came out a second time and isolated the problem. Both times he was patient, courteous, and took the time to explain what he thought the problem was. He had a chance to upsell us on parts and time and didn't. Instead he showed us the issue, how to fix it, and only charged us for a house call. BTW the house call charge is about 50% of what other Bosch service providers charge. Also, a really nice guy. They get my business from.here on out. read more

On call the customer service agent says they bring in parts, but agent is not bring-in parts. They just make you to have more visits. Technician is so arrogant. I was delivered a brand new Compact GE Dryer. The first time, I ran it, made a lot of noise. It seems that the one of the panel of the cabinet was slightly bent. It is a manufacturing defect. GE CARES outsourced the service call to Santana Appliance under warranty. The call was scheduled for Caleb to arrive next day. He came and after dismantling the panel, he was able to push the panel a little out by loosing some of the screws. Overall great service and best of all can do attitude. I've never had to leave such a negative review before, but I feel compelled to share my experience with this company. They were sent to my home through my appliance protection plan to diagnose my LG washer/dryer combo, which was repeatedly tripping the breaker. Prior to their visit, I had already had an electrician from my builder check the electrical system (since it was still under warranty). The electrician inspected and replaced the breaker, confirming the electrical was fine and that it wasn't the issue. Despite this, I proceeded with Santana's appliance repair as instructed. The technician who arrived was very young and spent no more than 15-20 minutes at my home. He didn't open the washer, didn't perform any diagnostics, and essentially told me he didn't know what was causing the problem. At the same time, my home inspector was conducting a full inspection, since my home warranty was about to expire. He thoroughly checked the electrical system and found no issues. The technician assured me he would contact LG to inquire if others had reported similar problems. However, when I called back a few days later, the representative told me I needed a new circuit box. I explained that my home was brand new, and I had two professional reports confirming the electrical was fine, along with a clean inspection from a state-certified inspector. The representative simply shrugged it off, saying "sometimes these things happen." They then contacted my protection plan and gave them this misleading assessment, which led to the denial of my claim. I had to fight for weeks, submitting all the evidence I had to prove the electrical wasn't the issue. Eventually, they reopened my claim, and out of nowhere, Santana's decided to order a motherboard for the washer. This made no sense, considering they had initially insisted the issue wasn't with the washer but with my home's electrical system. Two months later, I was still fighting with the protection plan because Santana's had the audacity to blame my house instead of admitting they couldn't figure out the problem. Finally, a competent technician came out, diagnosed the issue as a faulty hot water valve in the washer, and the protection plan ended up refunding me for the washer. I am absolutely stunned by how unprofessional this company was. They provided no evidence, no proper diagnostics, and no intention of fixing my appliance, yet they felt entitled to blame my home's electrical system--potentially costing me over $15k for a new circuit box.This experience cost me nearly two months of laundry at a laundromat, countless hours spent fighting for a resolution, and my time and money spent on hiring other professionals to dispute their faulty claims. All because Santana's was too incompetent to admit they couldn't solve the problem. read more

The owner of this company was so disrespectful and unprofessional. I do not recommend this company. My GE oven is still not repaired. They sent an employee to service the oven and he ordered a gasket. He thought that was the problem causing extreme heat to vent out of my oven. He replaced the gasket and it was still loose in two areas. The heat escaping from my oven is a salty issue and heats my home to 86 degrees when cooking. GE asked me to ask them to submit an invoice to them stating the oven is I repairable. The owner refused and hug up on me. read more

You know I questioned myself after talking to the young lady who answered the phone the day I called this company for information. She was plenty nice enough, but didn't seem to know much about cost for services offered. I sensed a bit of condescending effort but thought maybe I was taking things wrong or miss understanding give the completely rotten week I was having. But then I guess the owner himself called and instead of help he added a new level of arrogance to the exchange. This left me baffled as to how someone that unprofessional could actually have a repeatable client base. I have never heard anyone talk them selfs out of being hired so fast in my life. I was trying to learn what the average cost for my type of service would be as I am on a budget and have to plan such expenses. But I quickly learned that my inquiry was not a welcome one. I can only guess they were offended when I told them that the issue had been diagnosed by a local tech, and LG. That though very skilled, was not an official LG repair man so could not install the new compressor that LG was providing. Can you imagine anyone feeling warm and fuzzy about receiving a sarcastic response of. "Well it starts at $550 and goes up from there". When you ask for a rough idea of the expense of a particular service. This lack of professionalism is testimony of how little people respect one another these days. My refrigerator has been leaking water inside for a couple months. I was able to get an appointment about 1 week out which was great. I actually had to leave a message for them to call me back so I could make the appointment and they called me back within a couple of hours which also was great, especially in these times where it's getting hard to find good customer service. I had scheduled the appointment for the morning cause I had to work the afternoon. About an hour before I needed to leave for work I called to find out eta They answered the phone woohoo. They said the guy would change his route to come to me next. So far so good. The guy who was the owner actually who was coming saw the note I had to leave for work soon but I said I'd just go in late as long as he could come diagnose the problem. Then later my boss said I didn't need to come in to work today. Rafael is a highly capable and honest appliance repair man. He has repaired both my refrigerator and my dishwasher. He figured out why my rear water pump in the refrigerator was clogging, the installer had put a hose that was deteriorating internally, and saved me multiple future failures. Wow! Can I just say, I haven't been this impressed with anyone in a very long time! I have been dealing with LG in-warranty service for close to a month. Fast forward through missed service visits, backordered parts, you name it - and you can bet that I'm frustrated. The part for my almost brand new dishwasher finally arrived today, and good old LG told me they could schedule a technician to come out in 2+ weeks. Thankfully, they sent a work order to Rafael, who, though he was booked out through next week, made time to call me and made it a point to tell me he would fit my job in if he could today - TODAY, not a week or 2 from now! Absolute worst service I have EVER had!!! Extremely unprofessional!! Let me lay out the timeline here. 1. Called GE appliances 2 weeks ago to fix our dryer. They set the service call up through Santana Appliance. 2. Scheduled appt with Santana Appliance 3. Santana Appliance came out (I was expecting this to get fixed as it had already been out for almost a week). The owner of this company was here for maybe 15 minutes to diagnose. He said it could be a few different issues so he had to order parts and it could be 5-7 days before they are back out. 4. I texted for an update 5 days later (I never received any updates). They called me back and said that 1 part was in and waiting on 2 more parts but they should be in by Monday. I worked with the scheduler to set up an appt for Monday morning (2 weeks after dryer had been out of service). I specifically told her I can't do afternoons. I was also told that if they arrive and nobody is home then they will leave. So they have no flexibility either, hence the reason I needed a morning appt. 5. Monday morning comes around and I text to confirm they will be out in the morning. I receive a text back saying that I'm the last call of the day. This is not what I had scheduled and this wouldn't work. I said via text that the afternoon time doesn't work, this had taken long enough and I needed to know the total charges of this service call because at this point I might just buy a new dryer. 6. Santana Appliances (Rafael) calls me and says this is an "All Day" appt meaning that it could be any time during the day and obviously he set mine for the afternoon. I stated that I couldn't do afternoons. He then claps back with an attitude and says "let's schedule for another day" knowing that I have already waited an extended period of time and that I wouldn't be okay with that answer. I responded with "we have waited long enough and this needs to be done today, this morning as I scheduled it". I then asked for what the charges would be as I was contemplating just buying a new dryer due to the terrible service we had received. He said that since I thought their service was terrible then I need to call GE back to schedule with another vendor. And then said "have a nice day, bye". Summary: I've worked in Customer Service/Sales for 20 years and can tell you right away that Rafael needs coaching on how to handle customers. He has a hot temper and does not know how to handle conflict. He also has been to my house multiple times to fix my ice maker. Every visit he comes in with a cocky attitude and thinks that he knows more than the customer. The customer is always right and you must accommodate/listen to your customer instead of threatening them with not providing service. I called GE and filed a complaint. I'm honestly glad this happened. We got a new dryer for a huge discount in no time due to this experience. read more
