The first guy had quoted $1200 for the repair. Real Appliance Repair looked at the refrigerator and quoted $200 less but also pointed out that while the refrigerator itself only had a 1 year warranty, the compressor causing the issue might still be covered. He suggested I call LG before doing anything else. I called and the compressor was under warranty with parts and labor fully covered! Not only was the quote $200 less than the original company, Real Appliance Repair pointed me in the direction that will get things repaired at no cost to me. Literally saved me $1000! Highly recommended!

I scheduled an appliance repair appointment for 10:00 AM, but the technician called once at 8:30…read moreAM, which was before the scheduled appointment time. I replied by text at 8:40 explaining the appointment was supposed to be after 10. Their response was to claim they had called "a few times" and to tell me to call back if I decide to make an appointment. That statement was not accurate, as there was only one call and the appointment had already been scheduled. Canceling an appointment because a customer didn't answer the phone an hour and a half before the agreed time is unreasonable. Misrepresenting the situation afterward makes it even worse. He did reply saying ok he will come after 10 but , then changed up on payment by check etc. that was unsettling and seems that details change too much . Needless to say.. I'm too uncomfortable with this unstable communication. I decided then to just cancel as there's no trust in this communication so, how can I trust the repairs? Very disappointing experience and not the level of professionalism I would expect from a service company. Rearranging MY schedule for them to be treated this way is so frustrating. Their reply here is even crazier and solidifying my decision to cancel . I've attached the text and clearly they don't match their reply . He said he'd accept check on text . They only called once at 8:30 I text at 8:40 . Wow!

They arranged for KJ Repair & More to conduct the repair, I just had to call to confirm the appointment. I called during their business hours on three different days before the day of my appointment and never got an answer. I left a voicemail with the ticket number, my name, phone number and even a verbal confirmation of the appointment with a request for a call back and never got one. It's now 2 hours after the 12-5 PM window and not only has no technician come, I STILL haven't gotten a call back. Maybe everyone took the week off but whatever the reason, I'm never agreeing to any service with them again.

INEXPERIENCED TECHICIANS THAT WILL COST YOU MORE IN THE END!…read more I called them to come assess our washing machine, hoping to fix it or identify the issue in order to avoid buying a new unit after moving into a new home. The technician arrived and advised me to replace some bolts which should fix the pro lem. If not then purchasing a new unit would be the next step. We did as advised and it still didn't work- forcing us to buy a new washing machine. After purchasing and installing the new unit- we discovered the bolts he advised us to replace were in fact the shipping bolts. I would hope that a technician coming to assess a piece of equipment, given the model number/year of the machine in advance would be able to identify what SHIPPING BOLTS were. After explaining this to the manager they refused to refund the $50 fee for the error on his technicians part. Your better off going on YouTube to find a solution rather than calling their inexperienced technicians. The manager blamed us for the mistake in the end which only made the situation worse.

His repairman installed a part that it turned out we didn't need. We still paid for the labor to have this tiny part taken out of an older model on their lot, installed and un-installed in our refrigerator, but asked for a refund for the $250 part. He asked us to send it back to him, as his crew left it here. We sent it back, and paid for the shopping. He has not refunded a penny. Every time I contact him, he asks the same question, "Did you send it back?" This is obviously a stalling tactic, as he has asked this question repeatedly and the the answer is right above in the text thread. He also knows us well enough to know we are trustworthy people. After 5 months and countless texts, and as I am a fair person, I let him know that I would publish a negative review as of this week if I hadn't heard from him. He also told me we had a 1 year warranty. About a week after the fix, the fridge is still leaking. I reach out to Ben multiple times, nothing. Finally get a response that he's been in the hospital but if I defrost my fridge, that'll probably fix it. Fair enough, people get sick, thanks for the response. So now I've defrosted my fridge twice, in the process throwing out good food. That didn't work either. Reach out to Ben again - nothing. I call, I text, I text again, I call again, I leave a voicemail...nothing. I finally decide to call him from my work phone and SURPRISE he answers on the first call. He schedules me for last Friday but gets "stuck in Bee Cave". Then asks me to send him pictures of the fridge model sticker so he can order the parts. I've done that, followed up now another 5 times via text and calls...nothing. I guess I'm on his do not respond list bc he doesn't want to fix the issue that we've already paid him $400 for but at this point I'm just going to pay someone else who will actually answer their phone to come clean up the mess. Awful customer service.
