Just walked in and told reception I wanted to look at induction cooktops. She pointed us to a back showroom. No one checked on us or asked if we needed help, even when we walked back into the front showroom where 3 salespeople were talking. Most of the cooktops are not plugged in so you can't see what they look like. Disappointed. read more

I purchased a full set of high-end appliances for a newly constructed home. Some of the appliances were delivered damaged and 90 days later have done absolutely nothing to get them replaced. I was given a case number for the damage but here we are 90 days later and they still haven't done anything. UPDATE 1: After I contacted Harway again they have now promptly taken action and I am hopeful of a resolution. UPDATE 2: It took three more months but they finally replaced the damaged appliance (about 7 months in total). OTHER ISSUES: I have had issues with quite a large number of the appliances I bought from them (dishwasher, washing machine, stovetop, vent hood and now having issues with the other vent hood above the outdoor grill). Their installers cut corners which create problems. I called the manufacturer directly and got one of their technicians on site to fix an issue. He flat out told me that the installer clearly had no clue what he was doing. When I mentioned it was Harway he said they're known in the industry for hiring inexperienced installers. When I call for warranty service they push me off to third parties as they don't appear to stand behind their own work. I will not buy from them again. BUYER BEWARE read more

This business flat out sucks. Let me roll it up for you, A dealer buys a vendor product and resells it to at about a 20% markup. They are supposed to ADD a value to the experience. Like say add customer service. If you walk out the door paying 10k$ for an oven, that oven cost Harway about 6500$ you give them 2500$ as a gift, and the rest is tax and install. For that 2500$ the manufacturer expects the dealer to provide some value. Like maybe get the dimensions for the cabinetry right, advise on the delivery and install, and god forbid in the case of a defective product facilitate a resolution. Harway is a complete failure across the board. It took them 2 months to get me a product that exploded on powerup, didn't fit where they said it would, and couldn't bother to answer the phone for over a week. I had to drive 2 hours round trip to get a refund. If you are even CONSIDERING spending money here... do yourself a favor... try calling their number try talking to someone. We bought a Viking range top and vent-a-hood and paid for installation. The range-top was initially installed not level. Harway fixed that but it took a second trip. The vent-a-hood was installed with a wall gap I pointed that out to them and they asked for pictures, which I sent. They sent an installer out at the end of the day on Friday. It was pretty obvious that he was more interested in getting off than starting a project at 5:00 on Friday afternoon. He said would talk to his supervisor and get back to me; never heard from him again. After a few weeks I called Harway and asked to speak to the General Manager. After several chats and some messaging, I sent him requested pictures. To which he commented that "We don't runaway from a problem". The last message was: "Ok - I'll check with the installers to see what can be done,". That was September 17, 2020; Never heard from him again. In short, you'll probably do better with another company, even if they are a little more expensive. You certainly don't want to pay them for installation unless you're particularly fond of heartburn. The main talent criterion for employment at Harway seems to be an ability to ghost customers until they go away. read more

I was able to research appliances through their website, then ask questions and place my order over the phone without going by the showroom, which was extremely time efficient for me. Jason and Blair were wonderful as well as both delivery specialists. My delivery window was short (grateful to not have it be 8-5!) and they called 30 minutes out. We bought a Bosch refrigerator and a Wolf brand stove from Harway. The Bosch refrigerator was delivered today and we are beyond pleased with our purchase. Our salesman, Jason Morris, took lots of time to walk us through all the different options they have at Harway, and make recommendations for what would best suit our needs. This was extremely helpful to us for making a decision on what we wanted to buy. The delivery team was polite, professional and took great care to make sure we were satisfied with the delivery and setup. We are now looking forward to the delivery of our stove when the factory completes that, and we are certain we will be very happy with it when it arrives. We are building a house and the appliance company we originally ordered everything through told us at the last minute they would no longer be able to get us some of the appliances we had ordered. They also did very little to provide suitable alternatives. So I started calling around to other local appliance dealers and once I got connected with Karyn at Harway, we were back in business. Karyn not only was able to get the appliances we had originally selected, she did a wonderful job of talking through a couple of other options from our order based on what our original objectives were and we changed those items for the much better. Karyn has been incredibly responsive and proactive in keeping me up to date on our whole order and has made what was a stressful issue into a pleasant buying experience. I spent almost 18k on a new True fridge from Harway and it's been a NIGHTMARE. You would think with buying a high end appliance you would get 5 star service but no. Not even 2 months after I received the fridge, something was wrong with it. The alarm would go off on the fridge between the hours of 2 and 4 AM! It would not go off until you turned it off physically. And it would go off every night until the repair man came to fix it. We have a one year old daughter so this was unacceptable. I told them right away I wanted to return it. But nope wouldn't let me so I let them fix it. It happened again 2 weeks later ! I called begging them to take it back. Would they ? Nope. So they fixed it. A month later the ice cubes from the fridge still smell and are not usable to drink since we've gotten it. Now what you ask ? MY FRIDGE IS LEAKING and they still won't let me return it. I am at a loss for words. The lack of service and empathy is disgusting. I beg you please don't give them your business and never buy a True fridge. I would hate for anyone to go through what I'm going through. read more

My designer introduced me to Harway and I was a bit worried that they would be a bit too high end, but they exceeded my expectations on all counts. They have a great showroom and are extremely knowledgeable about their products. What really sets them apart is their personal service, which seems superfluous when you are ordering, but ends up being critical when it comes to delivery and install. I did get 2 competing bids and Harway worked with me to match them - and I really wanted to work with Dustin because of the TERRIBLE service and lack of follow up at those competitors just in getting pricing info. Dustin ordered the appliances, answered quirky questions about downdraft specs and oven/cooktop placement, scheduled delivered (on time as promised!) and followed up on two missing handle screws. He basically held my hand through the whole process and promptly answered every email. In short, Harway provided the service I was looking for when spending thousands of dollars on appliances. In additions, the installer was nice enough to give me give me some tutorials on the products. Great team, and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Harway! read more

We had a really great experience with Harway and Jenn, one of the sales reps. We were in need of a new dishwasher. I went in on a Monday. After a quick conversation with Jenn and exchanging a couple emails with her about the models they had in stock, we had a new dishwasher installed by Weds afternoon. We would have been without a dishwasher for at least three weeks had we tried to find one at Lowe's or Home Depot. Disappointing experience today. Our 40 year old wall oven died last week and we were looking forward to picking up a high end replacement from Harway. I checked their site to make sure appointments were not necessary. I noticed the specials and sales on the website are several years old. We were looking forward to getting an oven ordered as we cook every night and have been without an oven. After driving across town, when we walked in (11:30 on a Saturday, a few hours before close) we were told that the sales reps were busy and it would be best for us to call and set up an appointment for another day. First impressions were good and the Salesperson, Karyn Boraiko was helpful at first, but turned kind of snippy as our delivery date for the new house came time. The real issue was with a Thermador kitchen package and the "included" dishwasher was the cheapest model Thermador made. Ask management / co- owner Gabe to replace and after weeks of calling and texting him on the resolution, I finally talked to home and he sounded like a used car salesmen. Can't say enough good things about Harway. I recently moved into a new condo & the Bosch washer/dryer I wanted from Lowe's was 3 weeks from delivery. Kinda didn't want to wait 3 weeks to do laundry so my contractor turned me on to Harway. The Miele washer/dryer were exactly the right size for my verrrrrrry small laundry space. Also Miele...who doesn't love German engineering. My sales rep, Jenn Collins, couldn't have been more professional, helpful and cheery. Always returned my calls promptly. Great place and good sales person (we had Ryan) but unfortunately they didn't have a display of the LG combination oven/microwave built in oven that we liked the sounds of so we ordered it and we got it installed only to discover that LG does not back light the black glass on this unit so we have to shine a flashlight to see what to push. Ryan had LG send a repair guy out but he said that was the way they designed it. We are hoping Ryan can come up with a replacement model (doesn't have to be an LG) that has controls we can see. read more

I ordered a pair of washer dryers and a Samsung refrigerator from Aleigha and Tracy at Harway. The delivery and installation was swift and clean. The fridge unfortunately was faulty and leaked over night resulting in my kitchen being flooded with about 5-6 inches of water. Aleigha made a few calls and by 6:00am, a man came to my rescue to help clean up the water and provide me with a ShopVac and fans. Aleigha also made calls and handled the insurance claim and met with the contractors to assess the damage. The faulty fridge was a Samsung issue but Aleigha at Harway did an amazing job of expeditiously rectifying the situation. Kudos to her and Tracy for their professionalism. read more

We did go back to Harway for our washer, dryer, and dishwasher. They were good, and followed up on the order, delivery, and installation from start to finish. The salesman even dropped in at the house to scope out the fittings for the dishwasher installation. They also recommended a great installer -- Oby's. read more

Our Samsuck fridge went off to the farm two weeks ago--right after I had done the weekly grocery shopping. Isn't that the way? During this huge supply chain challenge and triple digits temps, finding a replacement in a timely manner was a concern. Most places were at least a week wait. At least. Some were a month. Enter my search and my discovery of Harway. We knew we wanted a Bosch and Harway had their inventory online. I could see what they kept in stock for quick delivery and their excess inventory. Super cool. Saved me time before I drove from my office to their lovely showroom. There I met Dustin who helped me by executing a swift sale (I am a fast shopper). And delivery was scheduled. We lucked out that another was close by so we only had to wait 2 days. The delivery was neat, tidy and smooth. Loved the "30 min away" call so I could empty the last of the Samsuck into a cooler. We only lost some ice cream. We love our Bosch. We loved our experience with Dustin and the Harway team! Thanks we will be back. read more

After the headache of dealing with a lemon of a dishwasher purchased from a big box retailer for 12 months (which included having the machine "repaired" 10 times and at least 3 months of total time where it didn't work), we decided to stick our head into Harway after seeing the trucks around town and reading positive reviews about the company online. We entered Harway with a budget in mind and the goal of purchasing something that "just works." The service was great, we were greeted by Zach Slusher and he provided us recommendations that would fit our needs and we were able to easily make our decision. Install was clean and quick and the now new-ish dishwasher has been working well for the last year. As we replace other appliances in our house we will definitely work with Harway in the future. read more

What a showroom! They carry top-of-the-line stuff, but are especially heavy on Wolf and Sub Zero appliances. Of course they carry other brands too like Viking, Thermador, KitchenAid, Miele... We are in the midst of a total tear down and rebuild on our lot and our architect sent us their way. I really appreciated the 2 + hours they spent answering my questions for purchases that won't happen for at least another year! I can only hope they offer our builder a substantial discount for multiple purchases....we shall see. Another bonus is this is a family-owned place and they seem to give you their honest opinions on where to spend your money, which is valuable considering what the price point is on these products. read more

We purchased a Wolf range top thru Jenn Collins (with an assist from her adorable dog Frankie) who's expertise on all products was clearly evident. When we had installation problems with a third party contractor, Jenn took the initiative of getting alternate blowers and rangetops--even though the fault was not hers or Harway's--and then going to the extreme of taking a range top on display. She also sent her crack Harway crew of Sam and Kyle to make sure this installation was done right. And it was. We definitely will be going back to Harway for more kitchen appliance upgrades and can't thank Jenn enough for making sure her customers are taken care of. read more

This company and there representative Lindsey are the absolute worst, The company had sold me a Miele washer and dryer after I had explained to Lindsey of my scenario of how we have a baby and a teen boy in the house we were moving into from Washington. When the appliances were delivered the driver took them out of the packaging and brought them into our home. When I seen them I had made a comment that they were extremely small and this is not what I wanted. They said I had to call my Lindsey to set up an exchange so they left without taking the appliances. When I did speak to Lindsey she advised me they were going to take a 40 percent restocking fee even though I had purchase a new set of washer and dryer. They kept 1700 dollars of my money because they we never explained to me or let me know of how small they were. Never took a minute to say since you have a family and live in a 5000 Sq Ft house you may need a bit bigger units. Just rushed to get the sale from me. After months of back and forth Lindsey contacted me and said they would be sending me my refund of 1700. This was back in June. After multiple calls and text I have receive no respionse. I just want everyone to know the type of company this is and how they supposedly tell every one how there a local business and are there to support local clients. Obviously that is false. Beware everyone they are quick to take you money but will make promises of refunds but obviously will not follow through and keep you money. I have tried for month to get this resolved but this company must think they are better then the clients that keep them in business. Attached are the text messages to Lindsey and her responses. We just had an undercounter wine cellar installed from Harway and had a wonderful experience. The quote was fast and easy. The price was great, and the install team was very professional. The install team came on time, answered all of my questions, and even though I had a tricky spot under my counter they were able to get it installed and looking great in a short time. My custom home builder referred us to Gabe at Harway Appliances, as they had a "good deal" with them and used them for most of their custom home builds. I will say we had a pretty good experience with Gabe's knowledge of products and we picked out our entire kitchen package with them - two ovens, fridge, freezer, range, cooktop, microwave drawer and two wine coolers - as well as two outdoor grills. There were some installation issues - their installer dropped the microwave drawer, but went ahead and installed it without us knowing and we only found out when the electronics started playing up and the manufacturer's service agent came out and pulled it out and found a big dent on the back (so they replaced it) - and then the wine coolers weren't installed level as they stripped the threads on the feet, so they got one of those replaced after we complained. So for this, I would have perhaps given them three stars. But the real issues were as follows: 1. Gabe told us we'd get a manufacturer rebate of about $750 for buying three appliances from the one manufacturer, so we did that. But when we put in the manufacture rebate claim, no dice... they denied the claim. It turns out that two ovens and one microwave doesn't count as three appliances - it has to be three separate types of appliances, not just three appliances. So after about three attempts to contact Gabe to get this issue addressed, he finally got back to us and said he'd "make it right". That was about 9 months ago and we've never heard back. Moral of the story - read the fine print before you purchase anything, and don't trust the sales guy to "make it right". 2. We had them build a custom flu for the range due to our 12' ceiling because the model we had didn't have an extension long enough. It was supposed to be a fully enclosed box even though it was mounted close to the wall because near the ceiling there are clerestory windows and it can be seen from outside. Despite numerous conversations and confirmations that this is how it would be done, of course it wasn't. And then after several attempts to have them fix this, we just never heard back. I doubt I'll use Harway again with this type of lack of customer service, and I doubt I'll refer them. read more

Do not purchase appliances from this business. The high dollar warranty that is sold with their appliances (New Leaf) is almost impossible to use. New Leaf Warranty has ONE service provider, Mr. Appliance, in the Austin area. Mr. Appliance is terrible. They don't show up for appointments, break parts, literally cannot ever repair your appliances. You will sit for months without getting repairs - meanwhile, your high priced warranty that you paid for is running out. Ridiculous. Do not purchase appliances here. read more
