Today was supposed to be the day the dishwasher would finally be installed. You guessed it -- Home Depot messed it up again. My tenant is now entering week two without a working dishwasher. The installers never call ahead, never provide a delivery window, and just show up unannounced -- assuming my tenants are sitting around waiting for them. They've had to take time off work multiple times for these incompetent scheduling mishaps. When I asked customer service why no one ever leaves a voicemail or text, I was told they're "not allowed to." What's the point of calling if you can't leave a message? I've filled out every link and survey Home Depot has sent me -- and not a single person has followed up. Zero accountability. As of today, I've canceled my order and am going with a local appliance store that actually values its customers. The entire experience has been a joke and a waste of time. What's worse is that I'm a Home Depot Pro Member and a Realtor who regularly recommends appliance vendors to clients. After this, I'll be sure to let every one of them know about this nightmare. Service, the service here sucks! So this is how it started, we went to the customer service counter to get a price match for an item, as the website says that Home Depot will price match! When we mentioned this to Eryn, she refused to price match our item, saying Home Depot will not price match! For assistance with this as we had displayed to Eryn that the website says they will price match we then asked to speak to a manager, she called over a guy name Darien who claimed to be the manager, he didn't acknowledge us having a private conversation with Eryn saying we don't price match and will not do it anywhere for anyone! He then began to walk off without stopping as if to seem of a higher standard then other people, when we asked him for his managers information he said her name was Mckinzey, for convenience we asked for her contact information are which he said I could call the store and speak to her! To ensure we had all parties involved information we then asked for the employee at the customer service counters information and he then told us we could read it off her name tag, unfortunately it was super crunched together making it a little difficult to read so we asked if he wouldn't mind just telling us her name and he said, "you can't read cursive that's unfortunate", and then continued to say things to try and be little us! When leaving he then did a sarcastic goodbye and laughed as if to try and seem like he was of a higher standard! The service here was horrible unfortunately, it is so sad that people can get away with treating customers like this! I ordered a new fridge to be delivered and the old one taken away on Thursday September 4th. They gave me a 7:30 a.m-11:30 a.m window. I had to take the whole day off since my job can't cover partial days. At 11: 30 they called and left an automated message stating the delivery would have to be rescheduled. I called customer service and they said that the truck with my fridge on it had arrived late. They said that it would be delivered Monday September 8th. I asked if they were sure it would be delivered as I would have to take another day off. The woman guaranteed it would be delivered. On Saturday they changed the delivery to Tuesday September 9th. I took this day off. Late Sunday evening I got an email saying that the fridge would be delivered Thursday September 11th. I have missed 3 days of work now for this foolishness costing e hundreds of dollars. No apology, no compensation of any sort. Do not order anything from Home Depot if you have a schedule. This is maddening and unacceptable. read more

Moving out of my apartment soon and needed some paint to cover some holes i filled in my walls. I was able to receive a paint match quickly and easily at the paint counter. The employee at the counter was super helpful. I did think that the color needed a little more blue so he told me that if after I painted, I still thought so that I could come back and he would add it for me. I rented a carpet washer from this store it was such a seamless process. I needed just the rug in one room cleaned so I was able to return it in under 4 hours and save some money. I also really appreciate that the 4hr rental window is available because you don't always need 24hrs. The machine was easy to use and clean and we only had to buy one product, which we mixed with water. Key to note is that you will need to go over dirty spots several times and I highly recommend vacuuming the water off more than once. We did 2 more vacuums after the initial vacuum when washing and it still took 3 days with open widows and fans before I felt like the entire carpet was dry and the wet carpet smell mostly gone. I think that would have been minimized if we vacuumed a few more times. Regardless, I highly recommend as an affordable, quick option to getting your carpet cleaned. read more

Very poor experience. Purchased a generator and when I got home it was covered in rat feces and pee. I returned it immediately and got a different generator. In the meantime the rat had escaped in my car and built a nest under my dashboard. The second generator wouldn't start and they refused to give me a refund, saying that I need to take it up with the manufacturer. Not going to leave one star because I'm not really thattt upset with this store however I've seen a big turnaround in professionalism at this store. I've been going to this Home Depot for the past 10 years to do home projects and get some odds and ends. 2 years ago you would come to this Home Depot and be met with some 65 year old retired gentlemen who was a wood worker or something, they would then take you to the right isle and over explain to you what you needed to get the job done. On the other hand now a 20 year old without a Home Depot uniform or anything Home Depot related to identify them, will just send me to some random isle and I'll end up having to find the parts or section I'm after myself. Bunch of employees standing around, but no one working. First I wanted a length of turf off a roll, and when I found an employee, he said he'd get to me, but never did. I gave up and went to take care of the second thing I needed, which was a piece of plywood, cut down a few inches. No one was anywhere near the cutting center. I went to the front for help, and someone made an announcement over the PA that a customer needed help in lumber, but nobody came. I found a couple employees a few aisles over, and they said they couldn't help and that they didn't know where "that guy" was. In a Home Depot full of employees, how is it so hard to get someone that can cut a piece of wood? I walked out without buying anything. Ironically, the only employee that came up to me and talked to me was one trying to sell me a kitchen renovation or some sh*t like that. I'd be super embarrassed if I managed a place like that. This is a very nice Home Depot. The people working here are helpful and there were quite a few employees walking around to help you find what you need. It seemed as though every aisle I went down had an employee on it. If you are looking for something or need help or suggestions this makes it very convenient. I came to this Home Depot around seven in the morning and had no problems with traffic or parking. It is a very large Home Depot and is in a nice area. In my opinion it is a hidden gem tucked away at the end of a shopping center just off the freeway. The only downside is the bathrooms are not at the front of the store when you are exiting. So if you want to go to the bathroom make sure you go before you check out. read more

Pros are that their website makes it easy to locate items - showing the aisle and bay of its location and if it's in stock. Downsides are that it can be hard to get someone to help who's actually able to help. Most times I need assistance I'm juggled around a bit and the issue may or may not be assisted in the end. Also a big downside...I've gone in for just a very basic drill, to hang one thin shelf....they didn't have one cheap drill option. All literally $100-200 with bits and batteries etc NOT included. This is ridiculous, who realistically would pay all that to hang a shelf? The average person runs out and buys something for the immediate need they have. Even IKEA sells a drill kit that includes everything for $23. It feels like Home Depot only carrying expensive full investment products isn't very accommodating to the casual everyday person. read more

I have had great experiences at this home depot(6839) before today. Today I felt discriminated against. I am a small business owner. I build professional and home studio. We also do home maintenance. I've spent over 200k in this store within the last 5 years(We have Taxes to prove it).Yesterday at about 330 we were shopping for lights for a new studio build. We ask an employee if we could open the light and plug it up so we can see how bright it was because the lighting display they have has about 10 different lights so it hard to tell. He said yes take it to the front they should be able to help you. So we took it to the front and one guy was about to help us. When this guy that said he was the manager walked over looked us up and down asked what we were doing. We politely explained and he said in an asshole way. No you can't do that and told us to leave. The employee that was helping us looked confused as well. I asked him his name but I think he lied about that. I know you have cameras in the store. It happened around 330 in the customer service/return area. This guy I never seen before but was a real dickhead. I would advise noone to shop there if he's there. This store has always been amazing. Friendly staff, tons of product and fair prices. However, despite the fact that ~90% of the customers and all of the staff wearing masks, a handful of customers were not wearing masks. I did not see signs saying that masks were mandatory in the store but when all of your staff is masked, as well as most of your clientele, this should tell you that wearing a mask is important. I would like to see Home Depot step up and make masks a requirement for the sake of their customer's health as well as the health of their staff. read more

I was looking for sandpaper and duct tape. Found duct tape easily but was having a hard time finding sandpaper. I thought it would be around the lumber, then I thought, near the tools. If you're buying a sander, you're going to need sandpaper for it. Not in this case. I had to ask someone, and they were very helpful, even wanted to walk me over to where it was. I ordered a single solitary 12 mm bolt that I wasnt in a great hurry for total cost 1.35 on January 15 2023. As of the 25th the bolt has yet to arrive so i called in to see where it was. I was told that it was shipped from their warehouse which apparently that location is top secret as i can not get that information. UPS will be contacted as to why my little 12mm bolt hasnt been delivered but home depot is claiming they arent responsible for knowing where it is then i will have to contact home depot back with ups review of the matter. Not good Home Depot! Your website says curbside is available until 6, but then you have to check in on the app and apparently the app cuts off curbside at 5pm. Then you go in to pick up your curbside order to find out that items were canceled even though it said they have lots in stock. Only to go look for yourself and find the exact item they canceled!
