When you buy a brand-new car, you expect peace of mind--not a months-long headache. Unfortunately,…read moremy experience has been the complete opposite. Today marks day 52 without my new car. I only had it for 26 days before bringing it to Gary Rome Hyundai for what I believed would be a quick repair. Instead, it has become an ongoing ordeal. I'm still making monthly payments on a vehicle I can't even drive. And while I do have a loaner, this situation is absolutely unacceptable--especially for a brand-new car. The vehicle developed a loud noise from the front driver's side, and despite three repair attempts, the issue still isn't resolved. I've gone to pick up the car after being told it was "ready," only to hear the same noise as soon as I pulled off the lot. At one point, I was even told they didn't know what the problem was and that an engineer would need to inspect it--yet still, no answers. I provided both Hyundai and the dealership with a formal final opportunity to repair the defect, and that deadline has passed with no fix. With no meaningful progress, I've now initiated Massachusetts Lemon Law arbitration, because no new vehicle should sit in service for nearly two months without a resolution. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with Gary Rome Hyundai and Hyundai. The buying process was smooth, but the service experience has been the complete opposite--frustrating, stressful, and far below reasonable expectations. I'm sharing this so others are aware of what they may encounter. Hyundai needs to do better. #Lemon #GaryRomeHyundai #Hyundai #MassachusettsLemonLaw #ConsumerRights #CustomerExperience #AutoIndustry #HyundaiTucson #CarProblems #DoBetter #CustomerService #BrandAccountability #NewCarIssues #Automotive

I purchased a 2022 Bronco Sport Badlands from Marcotte Ford and was sold a $1,600 Preventative…read moreMaintenance Warranty by Bill Mackey, the person who completed my transaction. The way this plan was explained to me during the sale was misleading and not what I expected. Bill told me the warranty would cover routine maintenance like oil changes, wiper replacements, brake pads, and one rotor resurfacing. He said to tell him how many oil changes I would need per year based on mileage, and that would determine my coverage. He also said I could visit any dealership for those services under the plan. After my third service visit, I finally asked for details on what the warranty actually covers. I was surprised. The service advisor laughed when I asked about rotor resurfacing, saying that rotors are almost always replaced, not resurfaced. They showed me that the plan only covers oil changes and cabin air filters, and my coverage ends at 61,000 miles, which is what I purchased. According to the Ford preventative maintenance schedule I was shown, none of the other services I was told about would be needed during the coverage period. I paid $1,600 for a plan that only covers a few basic services and is not worth the cost. Future customers should make sure they fully understand what they are purchasing before agreeing to this type of warranty.

THE BEST car buying experience…read more I had only bought from a big dealer or CarMax prior to this car buying experience, but decided to trust my many friends that have bought cars from the Auto Sales Center and give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did! Ira asked what I was looking for and obviously listened because he found exactly what I wanted at the exactly the right price point. He was very transparent about the deal, charged NO FEES, and spent time going over the car with me before I left the lot. The cherry on top? He took a picture of the vehicle in the showroom with a bow on top and then sent a beautiful card thanking us for buying from him with a picture of the car inside. What a wonderful, personalized encounter. I will never buy anywhere else! Thank you Ira, Chris, and Mary for such a wonderful experience!

I went to see Ira and he asked all sorts of questions about what I was looking for. Within 2 weeks he had my car. Right color. Right mileage. Right price! He gave me a fair price for my trade in. Then his wonderful staff took care of all the paper work for the loan, got it registered and inspected, put new tires on it, and I was good to go. All I had to do was write the check. Okay, I had the hard part. But they made the process easy for me. See Ira if you're looking for used. I guarantee he will take good care of you!

Generally, I'd rather scrape my gums on the nearest curb than go through the exercise of buying a car. These guys break the stereotype- they're easy to deal with and have good cars at good prices. If they have what I want when I go to buy my next vehicle, it's on.

Spoke with Nick each time (not Greg, who is listed as the point of contact everywhere else). Called three different times to get information and try to set an appointment (it was a little troublesome to schedule an appointment, but we settled on a time and date. Weekend wasn't possible because it was "a little too busy"). When calling to confirm the appointment, Nick had forgotten there was an appointment, had forgotten the car/s I was interested in, Despite having spoken to him less than 24 hours before. He also asked if there was any way I could come in earlier because he had to leave early. Not possible because I scheduled time off of work for the appointment because the weekend was "a little too busy". This looked like an okay deal, because of prices. I was willing to go with a different bank than my own (that won't finance rebuild titles) in order to get more car for my money. And while I know personal skills aren't the same as autobody skills I have zero confidence moving forward based on basic customer service. Maybe Greg is a joy to work with, but I won't go near this place. I am spending money on a car this week. They just lost it.
