I learned when I went in they are Under new management. All of the employees are so nice, but difficult to communicate with (example the water is perfect temperature so she adds cold water). I found it odd they use a hand fan for a few minutes to dry your toes and spray and tell you to stay for 5 minutes. This does not do the same and the uv light ls as both toes are messed up (I know my fault). All 3 employees I attempted to interact with were extremely nice. Awful and mean customer service. The lady I told what I wanted immediately dismissed me saying they didn't have the color I wanted. She basically gave me a box of colors and told me to find it myself. When I thought I did, I presented it to her and she laughed and said that's not it. I have received continuous services on and off from this location however today when I went to get my nails done I noticed that there was a lot of leftover SNS powder on my cuticle. In the attempt of cleaning it up myself I was told it was my fault that I had dry cuticles. I asked Andy, the nail technician why wouldn't you suggest that I get my cuticles done being that I am not the professional license manicurist, he became very defensive and wanted to argue and got loud with me. I simply was explaining to him that this is not my profession how was I supposed to know that I should get my cuticles clean? He just kept saying he'll clean it next time and I shared with him that I'm headed to essence Fest and it's my birthday weekend. Why would I want to wait till next time or even come back next time if my nails look like I did them myself? And he continued to argue with me and I just said thank you because I realize that I don't have to go there. I realize my little money is not that big of a deal to them so I will take myself to another location to support black businesses. I'm VERY picky with my nails especially because I just moved to Austin from CA and was nervous about finding someone who would be open to listening to my requests. Paul and Sammie really did a great job! I showed Sammie a pic of what I wanted done, nervous that she might not be able to accomplish the look. But she totally impressed me when she said "no problem I can do that, exactly to the details!" Super sweet, great service. My friend was in town and we decided to get pedicures. I saw this place and looked at the reviews and thought "hey why not try it". When we first got here we were the only people there. Which is fine because it was a Wednesday afternoon, so people are gonna be at work or school. The lady welcomed us and asked if we have been here before and told us about their services. She then offered is soda or water. They have a cooler where they keep all their water bottles for everyone. They even have a small snack bar (nothing fancy) which is unique for a salon. The chairs are nice, they use sanitized tools which are pre packaged, and everything is clean. Overall this place is good. Defiantly try it out. read more

The first time two of the nails broke off within a day, and the second time the tech was very rude (a younger man who didn't even tell me when he was done working on my nails- he just got up and walked away leaving me to wonder if I should go to the drying station or not. I used to love that place but after my last visit I'm really disappointed. I came for pedicure and manicure. Every time I come I love to enjoy their massage chair while they doing my pedicure. This time they won't let me use because they've started doing manicure at the same time so the chair would bother. And I couldn't enjoy it. But this is not the worst part. After they finished pedicure, my toe nails were not as beautiful as they always were after polishing. Nail polish was all over my cuticles and looked messy. As well previous time they did solar nail for my broken nail, which I do really appreciate. But this time that nail was grown and they didn't bother to correct it's shape and it looked wavy and not beautiful at all. So told them about that and asked them to correct it. They became nervous and angry and started roughly redoing it. At the moment I felt that I just want to leave that place and never come back again. They fixed my toe nail and cleaned the mess with nail polish but anyway it wasn't that beautiful as previous time and after all I have some scratches after their Pedi. Regarding my manicure was another story... I showed them the design I wanted and they told they can do it. When they started polishing they did it with the wrong color so I asked them about it. It turned out that they forgot and lady doesn't know how to do it and I should wait. Later they discussed it and the same lady started trying to do my design. I found this place here on Yelp. Place is small and clean. Calm instrumental music- good for relaxing. The guy there did my fill on my acrylics- did a really great job. I like how he shaped my nails. Then another young girl did my polish and asked if I wanted a design. I showed her a picture of Pinterest and she totally did a great job duplicating the design. It cost an extra $15 bucks for the design- but she did awesome and it's totally cute! She even has an Instagram account where she posts her nail designs. Cool! It's not an absolutely amazing experience because there's nothing very special like some of the places I have been to In round rock or cedar park but it's very doable and good pricing. Went in for the Organic Premium pedicure and the massage itself was good and felt nice. However, the massage lotion was very cheap and of terrible quality. The lotion left a sticky residue and it provided no moisture and worst of all, it left white peeling residue all over my legs. Now the pedicure- very, very, very disappointing. Polish on my skin...toes not completely polished and toenails weren't trimmed evenly. Very disappointed and a waste of $50. Needless to say, I'll never go back or recommend this place to anyone. This place is defenitely my go to nail place near home. The manicure and pedicure experience has been great for my last several visits. The ladies that work here are extremely friendly and pleasant to tall with. They make me feel really welcome and there haven't been any mistakes made on my nails. This place has the LONGEST lasting shellac I've ever used. It will not peel off until around day 16 or 17 and that's about when I need them redone anyway. Brand new place! NW Austin, great location. Very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very friendly. They are running a Grand Opening with Special prices. I got a new set of nails / pink and white and it only cost me $28, GREAT PRICE! After my nails were done I was given a neck and shoulder massage with hot stones at NO additional cost. One of the better pedicures I've had in a while. I came here based off of other Yelp reviews and boy was I glad it did not disappoint. They use sanitary covers for the foot bath and everything else here looks really clean and well kept up. They offer a wide range of polishes from OPI to Esse. There is a snack bar in the middle with some candy, chips and cookies. It isn't fancy food, but it's the thought that counts. I went for the deluxe pedicure $30 and it was worth every penny. I've gone to the salon quite a few times due to the prices, how close it is to where I live and the quality of work done. The salon is decent but the customer service seems to be on the low end. The last time I went I brought 2 new customers with me and pre-booked an appointment for all 3 of us to get pedicures. I made a point of asking that there will be 3 people available so we can get in and out the same time which they said yes. I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes for them to start on me while I watched my friends get theirs done. I mentioned the wait and one of the staff members just seemed annoyed that I said anything then it seemed like her and another employee were talking about it annoyed in another language. So I came here again cause I raved about how awesome it was last time well I cursed myself cause it was bad the last visit. I just come to realize that every nail place takes all night and day to complete a mani and pedi. I got gel nails and they are still holding up almost two weeks now, however my toes is another thing I had to go back cause the the nail polish they used seem to be defective or something since once it dried it looks like a 5 year old painted nails I went back to get it corrected and they did fix it. However two days letter I notice my cuticles were not cleaned correctly or fully and my feet didn't have the glow they normally have after a Pedi.... So bottom line I guess you just have to put up with it, most nail places take forever and it's rare if you can get out in less than an hour. It took almost three for them to finally get it right. If I come back here next time it will just be for gel nails, and pedi elsewhere. Lisa came up to me and said next time you get your nails to get then done correctly just ask for the lady you want, and I said why should I have to ask for someone shouldn't they all be trained to do a good job smh if not them why are they working there. Not impressive at all. I was actually quite disappointed. Took my 7 year old for her birthday to get pedicures last night. We sat with our feet in the water for at least 30 minutes before the ladies could get to us. The TV was on the Game Show Network and the show that was on was VERY inappropriate for children. I had to give my daughter my phone so she wouldn't start asking me what cybersex was and what sex was and oh yeah, there was a lot about sex on there. The pedicure itself was fine, but nothing special. I had heard they go above and beyond and offer drinks, but this was not my experience at all.
