Went to get a refill and look at the quality. I felt like the guy who did my nails was very rushed. I originally wanted French tip on my nails but couldn't because of the way that the refill was. The lady who painted my nails said that it was because of the color of the acrylic powder was different but why not tell me that before started the service or at least offer to see if you had the same color. The nails I got for my dad's wedding coming up weren't done good at all. I don't know the techs name, she was younger but has kids, her English was very good. The French tip lines werent even, didn't have smooth lines, I had black nail polish on the light color part of my nail that she said she would fix and never did. The nail artist decided to blame me for missing the mistakes she should have absolutely seen. I told her I'd be back today to get them fixed, she said okay and then she said they had no time for me and gave me my money back. Now I have to do this all over again. I'm very upset. read more

I'll roll the dice if I only need a polish change (no nail trimming or cuticles so it's fast and no massage). I've gotten manicures and pedicures here a few times already, but I always get just one color and nothing fancy. I took my little sister here today and she wanted almond shaped nails, two different colors and drawn on flowers, and they absolutely nailed it! (Pun intended). So glad I found this place! I do my own dip manicures so this review is for their pedicure. I walked in on a Monday, but was worried I'd be turned away if it was busy due to MLK (federal holiday). The woman at the front desk was super nice and sat me down right away for a gel pedicure. The space is small but very clean and modern. She did a great job communicating with me about nail length, gel removal, and type of pedicure. I also received a drink. I was the only one in the salon along with a manicure appointment. I will definitely be back for a pedicure and make an appointment in the future since I'm sure this place gets busy. It was so relaxing! One thing to note is I think the opening hours are different on Yelp than Google. I parked at 9:45am but the open sign wasn't lit until 10am read more

I've been searching for a great pedicure that wasn't way overpriced, and this place is perfect! I've only done the regular spa pedicure and it has most of the features of the super-deluxe pedicures I've gotten at other places (minus a paraffin wax dip, which you can get if you go up to the next level). My toes always look great for up to four weeks after I go! They're also very nice and they don't try to constantly upswell you on things. I'm giving this salon 5 stars but I will be reviewing my own review after a week or so because in my experience, most nail places are great the day of your appointment but the nails might not look or last so good in a week. I'll also give some background. I'm old. I'm set in my ways. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 and I'm almost 41. With my husband just retiring from the military, I've been to A LOT of nail salons. I went in today to get something done about my nails I had done at Bamboo Salon in La Frontera...I was talked into trying colored acrylics. They looked great the first few days. After a week, however, it looked like I had dipped my fingertips in concrete. Very much not what I wanted. They were lifting and just looked like crap. Jimmy helped me today... he told me I would need to take the nails I had put on, off. As you seasoned nail peeps know, taking off acrylics is not easy. He soaked and sanded 'em down. Got all the grey stuff off. Tried talking me into sns but when I explained why I didn't want it, he was very understanding. So, I got acrylics with gel polish. I them!! I've included a pic. If you live in N Austin, give them a try. 1/14/19--- I'm making an appointment to go get a fill tomorrow. My nails have lasted!! I have a lot of growth but otherwise they look like they did when I got them done. 3/1/19--- update... Jimmy did it again! he wasn't able to do them last time and they were wretched but he fixed me up today! read more

This is one of the best nail salons I've ever been to! I've been using this spa ever since I moved to north Austin and found them--for over two years! Every couple of weeks I regularly come in to have a spa pedicure (heaven) and have my nails done. The staff is amazing. They do a great job. I am consistently pleased with the results! Although they take walk-in traffic, I would recommend making an appointment during busy times of the year! This spa is always busy during the spring and summer--and of course around holidays. Often they work past closing time to accommodate their customers. The atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly. You won't be disappointed! read more

Pros: Easy scheduling Easy parking Massage chairs Free beverage Decent prices for pedicures However for my deluxe pedicure, I didn't find it too relaxing because of several mishaps. 1) she made me bleed twice 2) scrub on my legs was really hard and it hurt (it happened to my friend too) Also wasn't satisfied later because the nail color I chose turned dark after the topcoat dried. It turned into a more brown color when I initially chose a magenta color so that result was disappointing. Maybe I would try this place again if they fix the topcoat problem! read more
