I was nervous about coming here since the place had fewer volume of reviews than other spots but gave it a hail Mary try because of the consistent 5 stars. I was not disappointed: I walked in with terrible back pain and fell asleep ~10 minutes into the massage from the relief. My massage was fantastic. I requested a female masseuse and she did deep tissue and hot stone massage for me and ease my shoulder pain after 4 hours long drive. Very great pressure relief for my calves muscles. I would recommend all my Austin and round rock friends to get great massage here. Appreciate the highly skilled workers who adjusted massage pressure and relaxed my nodes and soreness. They are specialized in whole body deep tissue and hot stone massage and a little foot massage. I wish I got the name of my masseuse but she was very considerate (unclipping my hair for me, unlatching/ latching my necklace). She really worked out my tense shoulders and finished the massage with a hot stone treatment and steam towel. I am so happy that I stopped in to meet the staff at Zen Relax, I have suffered from back issues for many years and have seen several chiropractors over that time. I have tried other massage places, none of them seemed to really want to spend the time to try and do their best to help to take away the pain but this is the the one place who does. I can tell that they are very experienced and knowledgeable and thorough with what they do and I feel that I am getting the relief am needing. I am always greeted with a smile and an enthusiasm to do their best during the session. If other businesses could show this kind of professionalism and care they would be much better for it. Just left our 60 minute couples massage today, and feeling like a million bucks. I opted for a deep tissue massage with Jack while my partner chose a shiatsu relaxing massage with Sofia, so our experiences were a little bit different, but both spectacular. We arrived about five minutes early and didn't have to wait to get in. We got the full sixty minutes we had booked, where many places include dressing and wait time into that figure. We agreed that the style was less "clinical" than some other places, but we fully realized the state of zen advertised in its business name. The prices are also quite reasonable. We will definitely be returning, and thinking we will select ninety minute next time. read more

Came in for the couples massage. Was pretty disappointed that we didn't get our massages in one room and was separated. I've done tons of massages by myself so I really wanted to experience having my partner there with me. But at least the massage itself was good. We just signed up for a couples massage we have no idea what that entails. It ended up being a full body massage. With warm oils? Lotions? And hot stones. I'll be honest I love a good butt massage and this place had a lot of it. The hot stones were a great touch too as they worked wonders on my back. I opted for a deep massage. As someone with a ton of knots I needed it and they went in DEEP. It was great. It's so interesting to see how the body reacts to certain pushes in different places. All of the staff wear masks so I highly suggest you wear one too if you plan on visiting. Good place overall! Worth a try. read more

To be fair, I had a pretty great massage. It just wasn't with whom I signed up with; nor was it for the amount of time I signed up for and even received confirmation for. If you go here, be VERY firm with the time, person you selected, and also be wary of the "aromatherapy" so you're not charged an extra $5 fee. My original time was supposed to be 60 minutes. Without asking me, they did 90 minutes and I was charged accordingly! read more

Still wondering how a hole in the wall no frills, walk in Massage therapist would provide the best deep tissue 90min massage ever. ....And the therapist Leli was all of 80lbs. 6 weeks into my new workout routine had me tied up in knots (no longer). I have had three different massage therapists here and they are all impossibly strong women who really have you feeling so much better when you're done. On 3/23-24: Why I won't return back to Zen Relax is I'm not required to give a tip but I attempted to tip $10. When I attempted to give a $10 tip, $20 was demanded. I did pay the $20 tip, but will not get another massage at Zen Relax. I've spoken to my wife about this and she will return either. read more
