The space is no frills, but very clean and hygienic. I typically go for combo B which is a total of 60 minutes - 30 mins foot and 30 mins back/shoulder/neck massage. For $60 total this is a great deal! I like that it's a Chinese style massage where they use a lot of pressure (though it's customizable to your comfort level). After researching on the various Reflexology Massages available in the general North Austin area, I settled on LAN Foot Spa. The following is a review of the facility and specifically on my favorite masseuse, JASON. 1.) Cleanliness - Facility is nice and clean and there is never a long wait (Though I always make an appointment ahead of time just in case). 2.) Pregnancy/Prenatal Relief - Being pregnant is not an issue, Jason will never have you flat on your back. He is very attentive to your posture and comfort (e.g. Back pillows for added elevation boost and laying you only on your sides with a hugging pillow + another pillow between your legs). - If anyone knows, a pregnant women begins to get the prized backache symptoms varyingly during her pregnancy. I started getting these aches at 32Weeks and the level of discomfort was enough for me to seek out prenatal massage. - The service has provided so much relief that I will be returning once a week to relieve the aches. Noticeably: little to zero back/neck/shoulder tension, easier to walk around, increased range of motion! 3.) Pricing - It's a steal! (see picture for more details). American Spas are good too, but usually set at a MUCH higher price point -- They tend to focus more on the overall "spa experience." 4.) Additional Comments - My husband also hurt his back and Jason also helped relieve the pain. We came tonight to relax after the holidays and this place was very relaxing .This location is great. The staff and front desk lady was super nice. They are very clean . The chairs/beds are very comfortable and not squeaky at all. I've been going to reflexology for 10 years and there can be some bad chairs. We opted for the 60 minute combo 30/30. When we got to the 30 minute back part, they used hot stones at the end and it was wonderful since it is cold out. Also, i can be allergic to fragrance and they use lotion and oil that doesn't have a strong scent. Good for sensitive skin. Clean place, very reasonable price, ($80 for one and half hour full body massage is almost unheard of in Greater Austin Area) Look for Jason or Emma. They are good. Here are a few tidbits: They have a few different combo massages starting at $60.00 for 60 minutes. The combos have an emphasis on the foot massage but also include your hands, arms, head, legs, back and neck. If there's any part of your body that you don't want them to massage, just let them know. If you want firm pressure, be sure to ask; however, most of the time they will ask you what type of pressure you want in advance and will check-in with you throughout the massage to make sure the pressure is still what you want. It's worth noting that they use hot stones towards the end of the back massage as well, so if you're sensitive to heat, be sure to let them know.
