Met with Anna and she did a great job. I came in with some knots and aches from poor sleeping. Im medium to heavy build and she had a great deal of pressure to offer. They absolutely beat the stress and tension out of my back and shoulders which have been problematic for me for sometime. Been to a lot of day spas and a lot of massage therapist and I can say without hesitation this was one of the best massages I've ever had (hubs agrees). Called the day before to schedule a couples massage and they fit us right in. It had been a while since either of us had any body work done and we just wanted a little time to relax. This was the perfect amount of efficient body work coupled with relaxation. It's tough to find places that are able to do a massage that is going to be effective in resetting muscle while also being relaxing. I went to Beijing Massage yesterday and it was amazing. I have been to many massages over the years to help with muscle tension from sports injuries and car accidents. Some have been good, some mediocre. Based on a Yelp review I tried Beijing and requested Carrie as the masseuse. First impression of business was very good- friendly staff, clean quiet rooms. After years of massages at Western businesses I was used to having to describe where I was having pain and how much pressure I wanted. At Beijing, Carrie asked no questions. She simply began with a light massage and instinctively found each area of pain. She then gave an excellent massage with comfortable pressure, increasing it only where muscles were knotted. This place is very clean inside and the people who I met that work there are very friendly and kind. They are from China and speak average English. They offer Chinese, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone and Thai massages. They also offer foot massages. I decided to try a Chinese/Thai mix massage option for an hour as I only recall really ever getting deep tissue, Swedish, and Lomilomi massage in the past. The massages here are all in private rooms and the tables are SO comfortable and soft! The massage therapist really helped work the kinks out of my back. She was always checking to be sure you were ok and there was no pain or discomfort. You could tell she knew how to tackle the knots! About mid-hour she began Thai massage work. This type of massage consists of the therapist sometimes getting on the table to physically move your legs, arms or even arc your back for a really good stretch all over. They have bars over the tables so that if they need to, they can stand up and on top off your back and give you a really deep massage. I want to say that the massage lasted an hour (maybe a little longer?) and not the 40 minutes that you get at other places. It was FAR better than the other membership strip mall joints.
