I used a Groupon here for an hour massage with aromatherapy and really enjoyed my massage. I asked for light pressure and received just that. My therapist was very professional and informative. I'd told her after most massages I'm sore and tense. She suggested drinking more water and it worked. I'm not a massage snob so I'm really uneducated when it comes to them but the therapist that day (Maybe Melanie) was very informative. I didn't receive the aromatherapy though. Oh well, this was still a pretty darn good experience. read more

(Small caveat to my review: I've been seeing Marissa for several years, but she is no longer at this location. Her sister, Melanie, is equally great, but I've only seen her once or twice and can't give a super thorough review on her or any of the recently hired therapists.) First off, let me preface this by saying I have fibromyalgia and constantly tight muscles. We're talking can't lift arms over head tight; hurts to shake my head no tight; get cramps in back after standing up for 10 minutes tight. Most of the other studios I've been to around town have never, EVER been able to get the knots out of my back. Until I found Marissa and Melanie. They previously worked at another studio in the Cedar Park area and started their own practice in 2014. Marissa is the ONLY therapist I ever saw that provided a deep tissue massage that was both intense-pressure and relaxing. I know this sounds like an oxymoron, but it is an indication that the massage is *working*. For example, I saw another therapist in the area who gave a VERY deep tissue / trigger-point massage, and it HURT. Like, my body was tensing up in response, which just gave more resistence, so he pressed harder, and it hurt more, etc. Not these ladies, though. They do legitimate deep tissue / trigger point massage that digs into your back and gets the knots out, but it is done in a way that exchanges a few seconds of discomfort for immense relief. I fall asleep every time; that's how relaxing it is. To go from "oh my gosh I hurt 10/10 all over" to snoozing on the table? That's the sign of a good massage. (Sorry for the snoring that inevitably happens, ladies.....) The -1 star is for no Marissa anymore, sob :( I do enjoy Melanie and need to try out some of the other new therapists, so a revised review may appear later. read more

Have message package that I can't use because owner 'sent email with "new" scheduling info but Never recd and won't send again'. They also don't return VM. So I guess I will lose my massage that I paid for most likely their excuse will be that I didn't use it inappropriate time. They use to be great but now no one cares read more

I am almost hesitant to post how wonderful Melanie is, because I need to be able to get in for my "me time" ! I rarely do anything Special for myself, but once I started going here I was hooked. I don't know how I survived without the deep tissue massage to work out all my knots. Thank you!!! read more

Prime Bodywork is amazing! I just had a wonderful massage from Marissa and everything was perfect. Marissa was so attentive and she really listened to everything from my regular body pains to my constant headaches. I had an hour massage and she put in some work for the entire duration. I enjoy a good amount of pressure and she did not disappoint. She helped relieve some much needed tension and really hit the knots throughout my back. I can't say enough good things about the overall experience provided Marissa at Prime!! read more

Chasity did a fantastic massage! She hit all my trigger points and understood where I needed help. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. I would definitely recommend Chastity to anyone. read more

Prime Bodywork & Massage - Massage Therapy Near Me - Cedar Park, Texas

Jan did a great job. The atmosphere was nice, had a "home-like" feel. I will definitely be going back to visit her again!

Although the massage was good, the service sucked! I had an appointment on a rainy day, I was ten minutes late to my 60 mins appointment because the location is hard to find. I was given a 50 min massage and the wrong kind than what I was asked for. It they intended to do this, they should have informed me before the massage started. I wanted a sports massage and got a Swedish. I wouldn't go back again even if they had the best specials. The customer service just left a bad impression. read more

My back had been causing me lots of pain and discomfort and Marissa did an amazing job at helping relieve my tension. She was able to get deep in my muscles and still give me a relaxing massage. I wish I lived closer so I could see her more often! Also, VERY affordable. read more

Totally blown away and impressed! Bethany is skilled, personable and amazing. This was most certainly one of the top massages I have ever had! I am saving up to get a pkg deal! I cannot wait to get back. read more

So I went in and Amy was my massage therapist and she was wonderful. I'm a little picky because I've been getting massage therapy l for 20 years and every time I move to a new area it's difficult to find someone. I think I really like her and I'm going to stick with her. I highly recommend coming to Prime body work and massage!!! read more

Odry gave me the best relaxing massage yesterday! She also used fragrance free lotion upon my request. I highly recommend her at prime body work and massage. read more

I was in town visiting family and decided to get a massage. I've been having chronic tension headaches as well as stiffness in my neck for several months now. I was hoping a massage might help loosen me up. I booked online with Rigel. The massage was GREAT. Perfect amount of pressure and some kinks were definitely worked out. Rigel even gave me some advice and insight as to why my right shoulder/arm isn't as flexible as my left. If I lived locally I would absolutely be a regular here! read more

Marissa knew just the right amount of pressure for my muscles. She asked what I needed as well as took time to work the knots out. Very appreciative of a great massage. read more

Had a much needed long overdue Deep Tissue Massage today, Chasity was so Awesome! She knew exactly how to deal with my trouble spots. I feel great and not a sore as I expected to be. Definitely will go back! read more

I bought a Groupon from them and tried to call and make an appointment multiple times and finally 3 months later it expired. Exactly a week to the day it expired they called me and tried to get me in for an additional charge. Furthermore, they redeemed the Groupon and I now am filing against them. They have the worst customer service and Marissa was extremely rude and very lifeless about having to be a receptionist. Oak Haven is a much better massage place if you are going to Cedar Park. read more

I saw Bethany, who has her own practice in Massage Haven. Her 90 min massage was OUTSTANDING. I just recently moved to the area and am so happy I found a great masseuse since I was sad to leave my old one. Will be back! read more

I love Massage Haven. Melanie is amazing. I drive in from Lakeway... it's that good. Their prices are about average but they regularly run specials and I usually stock up when they do. read more

I am so excited that this place recently opened. I have chronic migraines and am in constant need of *good* deep tissue massage. To be honest, good deep tissue therapists are hard to come by. If you are on a similar quest, look no further than Massage Haven! Marissa and Melanie truly know how to do deep tissue. I was very pleased with the service I received (and I left feeling great!). I am planning on making this place my "massage home." Highly recommended. read more

I had a wonderful massage with Chasity- she focused on exactly what I wanted and was very professional. I had a problem with my schedule getting into her before my Groupon expired but she was gracious enough to work with me. I will definitely be going back, she did a great job on my back! read more

I have been a customer for close to two years now and I would not go anywhere else. Chasity is a skilled massage therapist and the prices are so reasonable I always treat myself to two hours. I highly recommend This business. read more

I have seen Chasity numerous times for some back issues I frequently have. I have moderate scoliosis and suffer from chronic back and neck pain. She is able to give me a pain free yet effective massage every time. After suffering some painful and poor quality massages from others, I was skeptical that anyone could help me. I can tell you she not only helped me every time but has provided lasting relief and even gives me stretching exercises I can do in between massages. And the heated pad that covers the whole table is absolutely amazing! I will never go see anyone else now that I have found her. read more

I got a groupon to try this place out. I was able to get an appointment the very next day, which is usually impossible when you get a groupon for anything. It's been a long time since I've found someone I would actually go see again. I was nervous because all the reviews were for Chasity and there was nothing that mentioned Caleb. However there was no worry for that. Caleb did excellent work getting the stiffness out of my back and neck. He was truly a professional and always made sure the pressure was ok with me and that I was doing good. I will return and be making an appointment with Caleb again. read more

Melanie is awesome. I have been going to Melanie for almost last 8 years. She is really good with deep tissue massage.

Rigel was great and very professional. I felt like Jello after our session! She gave me great advice concerning my IT band and rolling. Thanks! read more

Chasity flat out is great at what she does. She actually assesses your needs before she gets started. I highly recommend her to everyone because she will alter her techniques to the person and their needs. I appreciate her paying attention to what my body needs and can handle. For instance, My husband likes a strong, deep massage and loves how she works with her elbows for him - but I like it gentle and would die if she used her elbows on me! ;-) She really knows what she is doing. You don't just get a massage, you get personal care. We leave our sessions feeling relaxed and a million times better! read more

Chasity is wonderful at what she does! She was able to fit me in the same day for an appointment which I so greatly appreciate. She is a very kind and caring professional. Her prices are very reasonable for the level of service she offers, I don't think you could find anyone comparable. Great location with easy parking! read more

I just left my massage with Cassidy, and I am already planning when I can go back. It was one of the best massages I have ever had. Cassidy is a sweet and hardworking mother and I was very happy to have the opportunity to support her business and spread the word about the wonderful massage I got! The massage room was lovely, smelled amazing and was extremely relaxing. I left feeling so wonderful! read more

My husband and I booked our massages a few weeks apart and both feel that these massages were not worth going back too. The women was nice and polite, but massage did not touch our muscles. It was if someone was rubbing our skin. I had to ask twice to rub a bit harder , but it didn't happen. Im not one to like deep tissue, but I would ask for deep tissue here, so u feel something near the muscles. I have never given a bad review , but not worth our $$. Sorry read more

I went for a massage today after spending a weekend at ACL lugging around a heavy backpack. I feel great now. No pain!! I would go back again. read more

I'm a massage therapist and I used to work with Bethany. She was super talented back when we used to trade all the time, but I came in to see her today after several years of not getting any work from her, and she just blew me away with how intuitive and awesome she is. I had a terribly stressed out month and she just killed it and got all the tension out. She's definitely in my top 3 best massages of all time. read more

I went for couple of sessions so far. Had deep tissue massage. Marissa was really good and very polite and friendly. The only thing I would request from this place is a lotion/oil warmer...as the lotion can get cold and feel chilly to the body at the beginning of the massage. Other than that...love the music, ambience and the actual massage. read more

Chastity rocks. Very personable, and asks what you want her to work on before the massage starts. She truly focuses on your problematic areas that were discussed prior to the session, and is fabulous at what she does. I'm a healthcare provider, and I recommend her to all of my patients! read more

Chasity is a very talented massage therapist. She works on me, my husband, and teenage daughter and we will never go anywhere else for a massage. She is very thorough and ask you questions at first so that she can figure out what type of massage is suited for you. I always tell her she's got the magic touch and she truly does. I suffered from chronic shoulder and neck pain for years until I went to Chasity and now I don't have that pain anymore. If you want the best massage at an extremely reasonable price then Chasity is the one to see, I promise you will not be disappointed! read more

I have had many massages from Melanie, she does awesome deep tissue massages. Can't wait to go back

Great massage. Marissa asked me about what I needed and did a great job of addressing the issues. That pressure was what I asked for, and I felt comfortable right away, which isn't something I can say about most massages I've had. I'll definitely be back. read more

I had an hour and half massage today with Chasity! She had some work cut out for her! It has been way too long since my last massage. But before it was even over I was a limp noodle and by the end I was done! :) I drifted off a few times it was so relaxing! Will be scheduling another appointment!! Thanks Chasity for taking care of me today! And you're right I should have called in for the rest of the day!! ha... read more

I knew after the first massage with Chasity that I would be coming back! It was amazing! She hit all the right spots, she's personable, and most importantly, I felt safe. Her massage room smells awesome and the table is heated. Her pricing is more than fair. It's a bit of a drive for me but it's completely worth it. In fact, I just bought a membership package so I'll be going every month! I highly recommend her! read more

I've had massages at fancy spas and resorts, and at smaller therapeutic places all over Austin and San Antonio but I have never, EVER had as perfect a massage as I did yesterday at Massage Haven. My masseur had an amazingly gentle touch, but with just the right amount of pressure to get rid of my headache, the knots at the base of my skull causing the headaches, and the best part was I didn't feel beaten up afterwards. I was relaxed, and completely de-stressed. I was impressed by the low key atmosphere, no smelly with oils or incense. It was clean, comfortable. This was money well spent, and not only will I return, I will be telling everyone I can about this place. Truly a gem! read more
