We were visiting Austin for the weekend and on a whim decided to get a massage. I found this place on Groupon and called to see if there were any last minute bookings. They fit us in for a couples massage within a couple of hours. Nothing fancy about this place and their prices are very affordable. They were very friendly and helpful. Walking in I wasn't sure what kind of massage I would get. However, it's one of the better massages I have received. My only complaint would be the setting. Due to the walls not going all the way to the top, you could hear when someone opened the door and the sun shined in. This was only an issue when I was on my back for the end of the massage. Excellent packages! I came in as walk in at 6:30pm for 90 minutes, deep tissue, best value for my money! I don't care much for the fancy luxurious massage places, been through a lot in different states, different countries. I want effective and not a whole waste of time during the booked massage minutes. Both masseuse esp Wendy who did the most of the deep tissue was so good she was able to spot my pressure points! Not a whole lot of conversation which I truly prefer and this was very worthwhile real self care. (restroom was clean, they accept Apple Pay and they have rewards card--) support local and nothing beats the ancient science of massage therapy if done right! read more

This place is in the Hmart complex in North right next to the 85' Degree bakery. It is a very typical Asian massage place where if you are expecting a very nice spa/location - then this place is not for you. I do not like the regular Swedish massages. I prefer deep tissue / pressure points massage - if you are really looking for a great deep pressure massage then this place will not disappoint you. I usually get my massages with Summer - She is amazing A firm hand, just enough for those troubled spots/points and knots in your body. She is very professional and knows her job- most of the time you do not need to tell her, but she finds those tension knots in your body/ . I feel she gives enough time and I don't feel rushed. They include aroma-therapy and hot stones as well which is an amazing tough and relaxes you completely. It's very easy to get an appointment here and walk-ins are also welcomed. And they are open until late in the evenings. It is a clean place, but you can definitely here conversations happening in other room or reception which can be loud. I reduced 1 star because, the owner lady(not sure - the old lady) / who is sometimes in the reception pushes you for additional tip amount than what you are giving ! read more

Came here for a couples massage after I saw a deal on Groupon. TLDR: my experience was fantastic whereas my bf didn't get anything near similar what I got, despite being in the same room. Needs improvement in workflow. No frills, exactly what you'd expect from an Asian massage place, with a great masseuse running the show! She was extremely nice and hospitable but it seemed a bit disorganized / understaffed. Upon coming in, we were ushered to the couple room, right next to the front counter, and could hear everything going on. We waited about 10 minutes before our massage started due to a lot of back&forth on who needed to be in the room to be helping us. My masseuse was awesome and gave me an awesome massage, head-to-toe, one of the best that I've ever received. She is fast-paced, but other than that, she hit all my areas of need and worked out all my knots. Very firm and strong. I am very comfortable and accustomed to these kind of experiences so I was unfazed when I felt her move my underwear down to reach the tailbone area. ***If you're conservative, this place may not be for you.*** My boyfriend seemed to have a newer/inexperienced masseuse as they spoke frequently (being instructed) and his massage was lackluster, not getting a face/scalp massage or aromatherapy like I did. Had to knock off a few stars because of the discrepancy in our experiences and on how his massage could've been better had the masseuse been trained prior to helping a customer. Nice foot massage place. Clean rooms and bathrooms. You get a room to yourself. The massage technique was quite good and the massage therapist Mindy was very perceptive. She could easily feel out the right muscles and knots and worked her way effectively. Will come back for more. read more

I am honestly shocked how this spa got great reviews only when my sister and I left extremely disappointed a few days ago. We had booked the advertised hot stone massage and were really excited since my sister had never gotten one of those before. We walked in and were led into the room closest to the front door right away. Mind you, we get massages all the time and have been to many places before but none of them were as "cold" as this one. The room was plain and not completely closed off on top, so needless to say, we were able to hear every word spoken in neighboring rooms. On top of that, there were beach towels laid out on top of the beds instead of the heavy blankets that are supposed to keep you warm if the spa does not have heated beds. Even though it wasn't the usual inviting atmosphere, we were still excited about the upcoming relaxing experience. Well, it didn't turn out all that relaxing....after only a few minutes, someone walked into the front door and my sister's massage therapist who apparently is the receptionist at the same time, walked out to check in the next client. She then came back but must have brought the phone with her. Another 15 minutes later the phone rang...in our room...on pretty high volume and the same lady stopped my sister's massage once again to answer the phone and schedule an appointment. In the meantime, I was freezing the entire time (which is my biggest pet peeve during a massage) and was just waiting for the stones to come into play since during my last hot stone massage they were used almost the entire time for all body parts. When I got to the point where I gave up and thought they may have forgotten that this is the kind of massage we had booked, my massage therapist walked out of the room to go and get the only two rocks this place must own. She then rolled them over my back about 10 times and handed them over to my sister's therapist. I can only hope that they were cleaned after they were used on the last customer. Gross! Then they asked us to turn over and when I did, I noticed that the door was open the entire time and I'm not talking about a small crack only. My massage therapist must have noticed the look on my face and she went ahead and closed the door. About 10 minutes later someone walked into the front door again and my sister's therapist tapped her and said "Finish" and walked out to check in the next customer while my massage was still ongoing. When we were about to walk out, we agreed that due to this super disappointing experience we would not leave the tip we had discussed beforehand but opted for a $5 tip each (which of course is almost nothing) but appropriate for the service we got. When I handed it to the receptionist/massage therapist, she looked at us in disbelief and asked if this was for both. I wish I had given her my feedback then; that way I wouldn't be sitting here now typing up this essay. Hope this helps the next customer! read more

This is a no frills place. I bought a Groupon for next to nothing so I wasn't expecting much. To my surprise, it was by far the best massage I have ever had!!! I've never been so uncomfortable in my life. The bed was hard, they only a TOWEL to cover me up that didn't even fit half my body. She was going in and out of the room constantly bc she had questions and didn't speak English. It was noisy. She ended up massaging my butt which I've NEVER had done before and in my opinion is disgusting and an invasion of privacy. My tailbone yes, but not my entire butt. She had me turn over and lifted up the towel so I was butt naked turning over. Then wiped my down with towels so rough I almost cried. Worst place ever!!!
