The first time I visited Oak Haven Massage, I had a great experience with Christian. He was kind, knowledgeable, and tailored the massage to my preferred pressure level. My experience with him encouraged me to sign up for the membership, which I tried out for a few months. The price is reasonable at $90 per month which includes one 50 minute massage with a tier 1 therapist. Tier 2 and above are an additional cost. I tried a few different tier 1 therapists and unfortunately didn't have a very relaxing or positive experience with any of them. I also found appointments consistently started late but ended exactly on time, meaning massage time was cut by 5-10 minutes. This was frustrating and needs to be addressed. read more

April did a perfect job focusing the right amount of time and pressure on the trouble spot on my back. Looking forward to my next session.

I always have a fantastic experience at Oak Haven, and I love trying out new therapists! Customer service is always top notch, booking is quick and easy whether it's online or over the phone. With so many therapists on staff front desk is great about matching/ making recommendations based off needs! From relaxation to deep tissue, prenatal, shiatsu, they really can do it all! read more

Over the past three months I have seen five massage therapist from this company and they have all been fantastic. Someone from another location mentioned Amy (at this location) and her Cranial Sacral Massages (which is more like reiki I've come to find out) and that really gave me a shift. I have a lot physical work to do and a lot of emotional release to do and the people I worked with were great at both. I have issues with my lumbar and thoracic, a disc that lost fluid, a shoulder that was damaged in childhood and somehow ignored for so long, post-surgical issues for decades- basically I'm now over 40 and falling apart given my history of medical issues (poor genetic luck) and so I decided invest and get massages twice a week for a month and at least weekly for the next month. It's costly but it's cheaper to do a bunch in a month instead of dabbling with it for years and not seeing much progress. I had a friend who was considering a massage but nervous and I advised him to book a half-hour session and see how it goes with the intention of finding a place and person that he feels comfortable buying a full massage once a week for a month since he needs therapeutic work on the body. Point is, the facilities at the two locations I've been to were clean, inviting, and the staff was always appropriately friendly and helpful. How I started with this place was from a Groupon to another massage therapist (Adam) who said I needed a lot of work (which I already knew) and told me he worked with Oak Haven as he was pursuing different avenues in the healing arts but he has a few people at Oak Haven that he really trust with his body and recommended me to them. read more

I was so fortunate to come upon Oak Haven when I first moved to Austin in 2010. Extremely clean facility, friendly staff, and expert therapists. I've been working with Jerry for many years and he knows how to work the body to ease tension, improve mobility and flexibility. They just started a new subscription program, which is a great value. read more

Amazing therapist here. Professionals that really know how to give deep tissue massages. Friendly people that always have a smile when I greet them. My work outs require a massage to make my week feel better. Tense neck, tense back muscles relieved. Jesse was my favorite therapist. read more

George did an amazing job on my problem areas. Have already booked my next session with him.

My massage was deeply relaxing while also pulling out some of the pain I was feeling in my back. Riannon has such a calming, soothing affect. Highly recommend seeing her! read more

This is a great Oak Haven location! I've been going there for years and always greeted very professionally by the front desk staff. April is a really knowledgeable, experienced massage therapist who is very tuned in to my unique needs and provides a quality massage experience to address those needs. read more

Oak Haven Massage has been such a relaxing and wonderful monthly self care treat that I enforce on myself. When I started with them, it was because I was sitting at a desk job and with a minor rear end incident, I wanted to get some stress and tension out of my body. A whole year later, I'm still going on their monthly membership which allows me to get a massage a month covered on the credit which saves money on the retail price of the 50 min massages. I love all the therapists I've seen and my favorites are especially Theresa, Katie and Christian! However the schedule accommodations and getting seen in the evenings after a long stressful work day is also such a lovely way to ensure I get use out of it when my calendars and weekends can be busy! All my love to Oak Haven and the rest it offers to my body! read more

I'm disappointed to leave a review like this because the massages I've received here have been good, but unfortunately I will not be returning. I booked a 7:00 p.m. massage online and was really looking forward to it, especially after recently having a baby and finally getting a chance to take some time for myself. Later that evening, I received a text asking if I could move my appointment to either 6:30 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. I was hesitant, but agreed because I assumed they were trying to accommodate a scheduling issue on their end. Shortly before the appointment, my husband had an unexpected work delay that would have caused me to arrive late for the newly requested 6:30 appointment. I called as soon as possible, explained the situation, apologized, and asked if I could simply reschedule for 7:00 p.m. the following day instead. I was then informed that rescheduling would result in a $50 late cancellation fee. What was frustrating was that I had already adjusted my appointment time to accommodate the business, yet there was very little flexibility or understanding shown in return. In my opinion, the situation could have been handled with a bit more grace and consideration, especially since I was still willing to rebook rather than cancel altogether. It is disappointing to experience this from a business centered around relaxation and self-care, especially after explaining that I am navigating the challenges of having a newborn and balancing schedules the best I can. Mind you, this took place the day after Mother's Day! I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

A nice facility to get a good massage. I was able to book a free 25 minute massage to test them out. The place is well staffed and the place is nice and clean. There are a few packages you can choose from which for membership. read more

My go to for a massage! They have a variety of massage options with a diverse team to choose from. I usually book based on availability and have never had a bad service. They take time to ask questions before starting and make sure you're fully comfortable. The prices are reasonable. It's a great ambiance with friendly staff. read more

Amazing professional staff and great experience. The massage was amazing. Used a giftcard I was given and out of the way of where I would normally travel but I'd go back. read more

My 80 minute massage with Clare was everything I hoped it would be. She really got deep into the fascia to release tension. Planning on making this a regular experience. And they have a membership that discounts the massage significantly, even if you only go once a month. read more

High recommendation for this place. The front desk works are friendly and competent. If you subscribe to a monthly fee, they do text you to remind you to use it. And it makes the service cheaper. They have a lot of good therapist, and you can try a bunch of different ones to see who is a good fit. You can book online or over texting or phone. Professional space. read more

I have been going to Oak Haven for years. Easy to book. Excellent massage by Son. Friendly staff.

Wowww that was the best massage ive ever had. Seriously! My partner and i were just raving about our massages while driving back home. My masseuse Abigail with the angel hands was able to target my knots and applied just the right amount of pressure. After about 15 mins in to my session i was regretting not getting an 80 minute session instead lol. My muscles have never felt so relaxed after a massage before. This was massage was the best ive ever had. Their online booking system was very convenient and easy to use as well. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you Abigail!! read more

The quality of service here is amazing and the upper tier masseuse are worth it. It's more expensive compared to other places it, but they have a lot of returning customers. Try to catch one of their promotions. read more

I went to their new location on Mopac near 2222 and it's lovely. I haven't treated myself to a massage in a while and received a direct mail coupon. I like that they only charge by Tier not by service. Some places nickel and dime you for every add on. I decided to become a member because the services are high quality and affordable. read more

Terri preformed a wonderful massage! Her knowledge of the body is amazing! She explained why my trigger areas are week, and the stretching she provided was a added bonus. Beautiful facility and great front staff too! read more

They are always very kind and pleasant to the customer. I've been going for 5+ years off and in. Ashley is WONDERFUL!!

I've been going to Oak Haven every month for the past three years as part of their membership program, and I've never once left disappointed! I usually book with whoever is available and always have a great experience. I highly recommend this place--I've even referred family and friends who now go regularly and love it just as much. When you call, just be clear about the type of massage you're looking for, and they'll match you with the right therapist. read more

My therapist Megan.. She has a rare ability to "listen to her hands" as she works on you, instead of just doing some rote, memorized, massage routine. She's the only reason I signed up for the membership there because I know I will always get a tip of the spear therapeutic massage no matter what my body is going through at any given moment in time. read more

The best massage I've ever had! My massage therapist was fantastic. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, ensuring I got the most out of my session. It was AMAZING! The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and professional. I left feeling completely refreshed and can't wait to go back for another session. This place is a gem! read more

Oak Haven is always clean. The front desk is friendly and competent. Although I have my favorite therapist, everyone I've visited has been wonderful. read more

I have never had a worse massage experience with David. I've been an Oak Haven (Bulverde) customer as long as they've been open and I'll never return to that therapist. The staff was great, welcoming, and always what I get from the Bulverde location but David was the one off. He disparaged the company, told me he didn't get enough hours there, and I got a TERRIBLE massage. I paid waaaay too much money for the type of service I received. I hope that I'll be able to speak to a manager on Monday. My partner saw Brooke and he raved about her. I think it's important to state that to be fair to Oak Haven. read more

I have pretty severe chronic pain in my neck, jaw, and shoulders, and deep tissue massages are usually the only thing that helps. I've tried other methods that claim to work without deep pressure, but I've always been skeptical of gentler approaches. Normally, I wouldn't have chosen something called "therapeutic," assuming it would be too light, like other methods I've tried. But when I heard that therapeutic massage could target the root causes of chronic pain, I gave it a try with Son--and he was fantastic! I could tell he really understood anatomy and pain and that he knew what he was doing. Deep pressure is still key for me, but this approach felt more refined and even more effective than deep tissue alone. It combined deep pressure with movement and stretches to really target the muscles causing the pain, not just the surface knots. This gave me hope for lasting relief. read more

My massage therapist, Danny is wonderful. The facility is always clean and the front desk staff are friendly.

From finding a spot, to getting there, checking in and out, and the Amazing service, quality and care(plus sense of humor) from my masseuse April, it's a great place! Although I must say that the best part of it was April, she was knowledgeable, caring, sympathetic and most of all, made the entire experience worth it! So thank you! read more

I rarely ever get massages but I definitely should be making it a habit. My gf was nice enough to book us both an appt a couple of months ago and I am so glad she did. I have a lot of tightness in my lower back, neck, and carpal tunnel in my right arm. I also get antsy if I'm in one place for too long but Katie made me feel so welcomed, relaxed, and was so engaging. Not only that, she was so attentive to all my areas of need and instantly made them all feel so much better. Not only that, she even went over our booked time to ensure I left here feeling great. Highly recommend Katie at Oak Haven and I will be back soon! read more

I am not a frequent massage client (although I am seriously considering it!). Shannon S. at the 620 Oak Haven was thorough, knowledgeable, kind, and I left her table feeling sooooo good.
