I used to be a member of this establishment a few years ago and recently came back in to see if it was as good as it used to be. Let me tell you - I am NOT disappointed. Environment: Pleasant Smelling, Nice natural & ambiance lighting, updated couches with outlets and very clean! Front desk crew: They've switched out from the last time I was there but the two that checked me out and asked me about my service on Tuesday were pleasant and really seemed to care about my services! Therapists: Kai was absolutely amazing! I just got back from vacation so I already felt relaxed but good googly moogly did he just take it to another level. Literally one of the best massages if not THE BEST one I have ever had. Kudos to him for the recommendation to add a little CBD oil to my session. Want to talk about being REAL relaxed well - Elements Massage and Kai have what you need. They will probably offer but if they don't - ask to use the CBD oil if you're wanting a little boost of "treat cho self". Its additional but well worth it! S/O to the other amazing therapist that have put in serious time as well! Not sure who all from the old crew still works there but I highly recommend requesting Kai, Mark and Tim if they are available. Place was clean and the front desk staff was very friendly. Massage was just ok but the lady doing the massage did not work on the areas that I asked to be worked on. The headrest smelled very bad, needs to be cleaned better and disinfected instead of just changing the cover. It was not a pleasant experience to be smelling that while getting a massage. read more

EDIT: After finding the contact info for the owner of this location, we spoke and he made an effort to make it right, which I appreciate... Are negative stars an option? I wouldn't advise anyone looking for a relaxing massage to go here because the management team is absolutely terrible. They harassed and disrespected myself and my family all day yesterday, and eventually called the police on my father (ON HIS BIRTHDAY AND AFTER I ASKED THEM TO DEAL ONLY WITH ME) who had nothing to do with it. This place... the massage was average, but the service from the management team has been T E R R I B L E. Long story short: my husband and I purchased massages for ourselves AND gift cards for my parents during the 2018 Black Friday sale here. He and I got massages that day and then gave the gift cards to my parents. The 2 of us had not been back since... 2 weeks ago my mom finally gets around to scheduling the massages, and is able to do so using the code on the gift cards we gave them. However, when they showed up and got the massages yesterday - for my Dad's birthday - Mariesa at the front desk claimed the gift cards had already been used (back in 2018??). She then proceeded to harass my parents for payment by phone all morning, and then me when I asked her to contact me instead, all day. I mentioned at that point that I already had plans and wouldn't be able to handle this situation immediately but I'd be happy to sort it out with her if she'd send me all the information she had. For the rest of the day, If she called and didn't get an answer, or emailed and didn't get a response by a time she preferred, she'd call my parents again. The last email she sent to me, which she sent while I was IN A MOVIE, ended with a threat that if she didn't hear back from me by 7pm, she'd either call my parents again (who I'd explicitly asked her not to contact), OR report the case to the LOCAL POLICE. Because I agreed to handle it and didn't want my parents to be involved, I asked them to ignore her calls if she called them again, so they did. Around 8pm, an hour or so after I had responded to Mariesa's threat email, my mom calls and tells me my dad is on the phone with the police, who called him asking about "theft of services" at Elements Massage. This... pissed me off to the highest degree, so instead of letting it ride until Mariesa responded to my email and sent the information I requested, I called the Elements Massage hoping to speak to Mariesa. She called back later and continued to say we made a mistake and somebody had to pay for the massages today. Mind you, she still had not sent me all of the information from our 2018 transaction so I could understand what happened and try to defend myself. And nowhere in the conversation with her, and ultimately her superior Nora, was there an acknowledgement that the employee who processed our transaction 3 years ago could've been at fault. There was never any explanation for how my mother was able to book the appointments 2 weeks ago using the code on the gift card either. When we brought these inconsistencies up and suggested the error was on their side, they just doubled down, slowly escalating and becoming incredibly unprofessional. They both spoke about the "policies" that they "couldn't share with us", and stressed how important it was for them to receive payment before they closed that night, and really the conversation went nowhere because they had already made up their minds that my parents were trying to scam them by using used gift cards... Anyways, we are continuing to escalate this case and WILL get in touch with Nora and Mariesa's superior - they didn't want to share their information. But know that we will NEVER be back to this location, and likely no other Elements Massage from this point on. Just the poor customer service, the accusations, the attitudes, the harassment, the disrespect when i asked for them to deal directly with me and they continued calling my parents, and the fact that they called the police just blows my mind. Booked a BDay pregnancy massage for my wife. She was promptly talked out of it by her Masseuse and given a regular massage. The aroma therapy that I was told would be free because it was her bday, that I was literally ready to pay for was not done at all. My wife said the whole experience felt rushed and not personal. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed with the service my wife received on her special day. Only leaving 2 stars because she said the actual massage was fine. I had called two weeks prior to book my fiancé a massage for his birthday on Memorial Day. We had made a trip to Houston also for my fiancé's birthday for that weekend and planned to leave Monday morning at 7 am to get back to Austin in time for his massage at 11 am. At around 8:30 a.m after an hour and a half of driving they texted to cancel. I was upset at first but was hopeful they would get him rescheduled. I have called to speak with the manager several times since then. and still have not spoke with the manager. They keep telling me that they will call when something comes up. I have to say the massage itself was 3.5 stars, but the overall experience was...creepy. The therapist did a decent job. I'm not going to knock the massage itself - it helped the issue I was having with my lower back/hips and I can walk normally again. What I am going to comment about is the creepy factor. I've been getting therapeutic massages since my first car accident. It's really the only thing that helps my chronic back issues. I've seen many therapists over the years, both male and female. I have never felt that the massages I've received were on the pervy scale...until now. Draping is a normal part of massages. Therapists are licensed, lights are low, everything is covered except the part the therapist is working. If they're working the glutes, they're touching your butt. There's nothing wrong with that. Until they make it wrong. I mean, they went to school for this, are licensed, etc. right? This therapist massaged my glutes through a sheet "for my protection and his." Seriously? I've never felt more uncomfortable during a massage. My hips and glutes were what needed a massage. Doing it through a sheet was just...wrong. Yikes. In all my years of receiving massages, this has never happened. It really made it seem cheap and pervy. No big deal, though. I will go back to the places where I'm not made to feel like a piece of meat. read more

I had a massage at this location last Friday. Yes it took some time getting in with covid but it was well worth the wait. I am happy with the front desk who suggested Timothy! He was well aware of how to do his job and certain amount of pressure. I've been to other massage places and they don't compare with this one. After leaving I felt a relief from all the tension built up and on day 4 I still feel great. You will have to schedule out your appointments which can be a ways out but you work regret coming here! read more

Hi, Very disappointed in your services. The fact that your own personnel and management doesn't even know the policy below is very upsetting. I signed up for a membership in middle of 2021. In August 2021 I had started a new job so I was unable to use any of the monthly sessions I had paid from July through February 2022. I went to the Round Rock, Texas location in February to cancel my membership and was told at the time my sessions had already expired. However, I spoke with another attendant and was told she could just schedule the unused sessions as long as used by May 2022. I was scheduled for 9, every 2 week sessions. Since then I took 4 for myself and 1 transferred for my son. The sessions transpired as such: Scheduled February sessions for membership I paid for that month which was $69 One of the unused/credited sessions, the therapist was rude and short because I was running late so he only gave 30 minutes massage. Unused session, I missed and was still charged $35. Unused credit session, was scheduled for 90 minutes but because I was busy could only do 30 minutes because I didn't want to miss and get charged another $35 or get an attitude from the therapist. 5 and 6: the therapist was super sweet and great 7 and 8: were cancelled by office because therapist was unable to attend the sessions due to health issues 9: had another fabulous After my session today, I thought I could rescheduled the cancelled unused credits only to be told that I was no longer in the books. And I explained that was because I had already cancelled my membership in February. I was only attempting to use the credits that had been unused and cancelled as a result of their part. When the disagreement ensued, I walked away because I had given up on arguing / discussing this again. That said, I later get a call from the POLICE!!! That the administration charged me with walking without paying. Paying for a session on the calendar that was for an unused credit!!!! How is that possible? And I am being charged $99!!!!! This is absolutely an outrage. Rather than sending me a letter, I have the police called out on me!!!! YOU HAVE TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!! I appreciated how swift and detailed their response was to the situation - clearly it must have been a fluke because they have shown me how seriously they take their customer service. I'm excited for my Aunt to have another chance at a great massage with them. --- I purchased my Aunt a massage for her Christmas gift. I have visited other Elements Massage locations, so I am aware of their standards and policies and was hoping she would be matched to a good therapist for her needs. However, she was paired with a brand new therapist and didn't have a good experience. This would have been fine if this location stuck with company policy and the Elements Promise (a guarantee that your session meets expectations or you'll be matched with someone new). But when my Aunt tried to give her feedback, they didn't accommodate her at all or even offer a different therapist. I am disappointed that this location doesn't uphold company standards, it feels like my gift was wasted on a subpar session. Will not recommend this place in the future. read more

This establishment is very greedy and will continue charging your card if you need to reschedule or if something comes up. It is $35 each time! The receptionist was very fake polite and always complaining that she's busy. I was charged $35 to reschedule the first time. Fine, I agreed. But then, I called at 10:20AM today asking if I can reschedule because I forgot I had a 10AM appointment. I did not receive any voicemail despite her telling me otherwise. The receptionist told me I was going to get charged $35 again! Excuse you? I told her that is more than the price of the massage I bought (because $35 + $35 = $70) I paid $69 on Groupon and I will not pay for a massage I have NOT RECEIVED! She told me to take it up with Groupon so I can get a refund. I did. The Groupon support refunded my money and stated that they can only charge me $69 at most to honor the Groupon policy. I called the receptionist back. I told her that she can only charge $69 because it's in the Groupon policy. She was trying her hardest to charge me $35 but finally she said she will charge $34 to "make me feel better". Uhhh honey..it's not about making me feel better. It's called being professional and honoring the Groupon platform in which you advertise your business! I know Groupon takes a cut of your profits so you try to find loopholes with your customers. This salon's employee turn over is constant. Four times now appointments that were made in person, on the phone and using their web site were somehow not in their computer system, so non existent. One of the therapist I was seeing quit unexpectedly Sunday. The manager is also no longer there, as of yesterday. More importantly my favorite and most helpful therapist says to cancel her appointments. Clearly someone is saying untruths or something is going on there that has caused major issues with this business. This place was GREAT! I am fairly new to receiving professional massages and I must say, I am impressed. Taneisha is amazing with her hands, technique, and knows her craft well. I had no idea that so much pressure can be applied by such a small lady. She made my body speak to me in ways I've never heard it speak before. Telling me that it needed this attention. On another note, I had a pop up Microsoft teams meeting around the same time my massage was scheduled. So I asked Taneisha if she mind if I joined this meeting assuring her that my camera would be off. She agreed and even offered to turn the music down if needed. I am extremely frustrated with this company. I joined the membership but was having a hard time getting scheduled due to my personal schedule and their availability. I really have to plan ahead to get scheduled (few months). On two separate occasions, they have confirmed my appointment several times and when I showed up they say they don't have the appointment or the therapist doesn't even show up. When I signed up for the membership, I was ok with it because they told me if I needed to cancel the plan I would be able to do so and place any left over massages on a gift card. I informed them a week ago that I wanted to cancel after their therapist didn't show up. I was told that I have 7 unused massages and that if I didn't use all of them within the month that I would lose them. Staff indicated that they have now changed the policy and they can no longer provide gift cards. How is some supposed to us 7 massages by the end of the month when they don't even have availability?!? 7 massages is over $500 worth of massages!! They are telling me that I can donate them to someone so they can use them! Really? That's the only option!?! Why was the policy changed without informing their long term clients? I never would have signed up if I thought they wouldn't be available or I would lose the massages if I didn't use them and wanted to cancel. Now the PM will not return my call for further discussion after they have been making mistakes. Extremely unprofessional and the front desk staff was not helpful. Edit: I elected to write an additional review. After several attempts to contact the manager twice by phone and twice via the email address she left in response to my initial review, I still have not been able to talk to anyone about my issue. It is extremely frustrating as I believe this means I am out $500 in services. It doesn't seem like clients are priority at this business. This company has some great therapists. I really enjoy my massages when I am able to get them. If I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't have had a membership for so long. Today I got a prenatal massage by Genesis. I have a membership with another massage company but my mother is a member here and wanted to do a nice gesture for me and give me one of her massages. I honestly feel like it was a waste of her money. I asked her to work on my shoulders, hands and feet because I am a barber who stands all day and works with my hands and I am also growing a baby. I understand you can't go as hard as you normally would on the feet and lower back, but as a person who gets prenatal massages often I know that the shoulders and hands can be worked on regularly. First my massage is only about 40 minutes when it is supposed to be 50. I got into a room at 2:15 my exact appointment time, we talked about what I need worked on and then she left to let me change. It takes me about five minutes to takeoff my clothes and get under the sheet. When she finished it took me a minute to get up off the table but when I got to my phone it was 3:06... that is the 10 mins right there. So what about the time I was taking off my clothes and the discussion time? Then the massage basically felt like she was just rubbing lotion on me the entire time. No pressure what so ever, barely any work on my hands or feet, none on my palms, or the arch of my foot, where it actually hurts, mostly on top of my hand and pulling my fingers and toes and lightly caressing my back. The only reason I don't give it one star is because the atmosphere was nice, and the facility was well-kept. But I was very disappointed with my service today. read more

After a rough couple of weeks, a friend gifted me a Groupon to Elements Massage to help me feel better. I get migraines so he thought maybe if I relaxed, it might help me in the long run. I called earlier this week and booked my appointment. The person who helped me was very friendly and helpful, asking me where I was having issues (neck/shoulders) and recommending a therapist for my first visit who would be great for it. They called me the day before to confirm my appointment :) I ended up having an appointment with Rocky, who does medium to firm pressure. When I arrived, I filled out some paperwork and was promptly in the massage room. Rocky went over what my issues were, what area I wanted to focus on, what his massage plan was, etc. Overall I felt very comfortable with the experience, clarity & great communication. I enjoyed my massage and left feeling relaxed. I got a whole body massage, but Rocky made sure to spend extra time on my trouble areas, which was really great. I ended up signing up for their membership program. For $59 a month, I get a 55 minute massage per month ($30 less than their regular fee) and I also received a gift card for an additional 55 minute massage to either gift or use for myself. You can cancel anytime within a 30 day period and, if life happens, put your membership on hold for up to 3 months. The receptionist recommended another therapist for the type of therapy I want next month. After booking next month's appointment, I received an email confirmation with a .ics attachment which, upon opening it, automatically added the appointment to my calendar. My husband bought us Groupons to try out Elements Massage - I can't tell you how thankful I am. I had the very best massage of my entire life here. All I can say is: Kasey is amazing. I can't wait to go back. Oh right, I will be coming back every month! They talked us into getting their monthly membership, which allows you (and one other person) to get a massage once a month. It's like getting a discounted massage each time you visit. And if you want to get extra in a month, you can just pay a discounted price for them. Considering I've never been here. I was shocked to see how I was handled on the phone. First time calling, realizing it was last min, I thought I might try to see if there were any cancellations. I was quickly shot down with distain in her voice and was told they were booked for the entire weekend. Before I could request a different appointment time, she hung up on me without even a "Goodbye" or "Thank you for calling." Be careful about using the Groupon. After scheduling an appointment, we were cancelled with very short notice (less than 1 hour). The feeling that we got is that we were "bumped" in favor of non-Groupon clients. Ironic, isn't it? If we had cancelled the appointment on such short notice, we would have forfeited the value of the Groupon. Yet, Elements "cancels" our appointment with less than half an hour's notice, and they offer nothing in way of policy. The employee who called us - Guadalupe - seemed to find our concern to be amusing. Rather than apologize or offer any kind of accommodation for our inconvenience, Guadalupe just suggested that we contact Groupon to request a refund if we weren't happy. Other people seem to have had better experiences, but this place strikes us as kinda sleazy. If you are considering a Groupon purchase, beware. read more

I found my massage to be better than average. My massage therapist was attentive to all the adjustments I needed to the massage and worked well around my injuries. I enjoyed it very much, but it wasn't the melt in your sheets massage that I could have gotten from my friend who practices sports medicine and has a great grasp on anatomy. Very expensive in my opinion, but perhaps its just the principal of it. I always think massages are overpriced. It was pretty good to alleviate my pain for a few hours. read more

If the review was just for Taneisha, it would be 5 stars. She works absolute magic with her hands. I have no idea how such power and strength comes out of such a small woman. She gave me a deep tissue massage that focused on the upper back, neck, and scalp, with some work on the feet as well. She really worked out all those knots and truly was amazing. She was also very friendly and I liked her as a person as well. I had a Groupon for a 60 minute massage that I used. I had no problems calling to make an appointment. They had lots of openings and availabilities, which I appreciated. But the regular price is just too much. The massage I got is normally $89, but I paid less than $40 with my groupon. I would never pay $89 for it, simply because there are more competitive offers out there. read more

The front staff was very nice and accommodating and asked me what kind of masseuse I wanted. Light, firm, trigger point. ..etc. They delivered on the correct pressure. The only problem I had and why I gave 3 stars is because I felt my massage was rushed. My massage was supposed to be for 55 minutes. I was not called in until 5:04pm (appointment was at 5pm). It took me 5 minutes to talk about my problem areas on the intake form and to get undressed (now 5:09). I was then promptly ushered out at 5:55pm. Maybe it was because I had a Groupon??? The massage was mediocre but the customer service of this business was AWFUL!! Too many unapologetic administrative issues which resulted in a stressful and totally insulting experience. My husband and I went from being customers receiving mediocre massages from a gift card given to us by our children in the morning to receiving a call from the POLICE before the end of the night based on a call from Mariesa accusing us of basically stealing a massage?!?!?!? The entire cause of this issue was a lack of administrative procedures within Elements due to an inept way of tracking purchases followed by a poor record-keeping system.
