Suffering with back pain during Covid for weeks and the months was brutal. After dealing with it at home, I finally needed a diagnosis. I set an online appointment and confirmed all the burning, radiating pain in my back, neck and arm was due to my spine needing adjustment along with my neck and my hip was out of joint. After the first treatment, I felt better within a few days. Had a chiro massage a week later and am starting to feel more flexibility in movement. They are taking temps at the door, you are required to wear a mask in the waiting room and in your appt. You can remove your mask when you're face down in the chair, but face up do keep it on. This does make me feel safer and the employees do the same. Overall if you need treatment and are looking for a place with Covid precautions in place, look no further. read more

If I could leave no stars I would. I was/am in pain and was referred to Pflugerville Wellness Center (PWC) for care by the VA. I was super excited to get. quick referral from the VA and reached out to PWC directly as instructed by the VA. The person I spoke to (Dr. Peng I assume) told me that he has a person that processes VA appointments once a week and I'd have to wait until next week to be processed and subsequently called to make appointments. I couldn't believe that was the response. That is NOT what the VA thought they were getting when I was referred. A day or two later I got documentation in the mail from the VA to contact them directly. I called back and was given the same line. "We have one person, that works one day a week, to process VA referrals and you'd have to wait". So much for caring for patients in need or veterans. I explained that that was unacceptable and I'll be reporting PWC to the VA to let them know they were happy to take the VA's referral money...but in no rush to actually see veterans. When I called the VA to tell them what happened and report them, I was told the PWC had "declined me service". Um what?! I was NEVER "served". I lodged my formal complaint to the VA anyway and while I was on the phone with them, I was referred to another massage therapist in the area...whon not only took my referral but saw me THE FOLLOWING DAY! And the company and massage therapist have been AMAZING to work with. I review LOTS of businesses and try to support as many small business in my area as possible but I'll NEVER recommend anyone to this place. Ever. read more

My husband I started receiving treatment from Dr. Peng sometime around 2017 or 2018. Dr. Peng's manipulation techniques helped my husband and I work through sciatica, bulging discs, etc.. At times our issues were major, other times just in for regular adjustments. He is personable, great listener, and helps you understand the why of back issues. We highly recommend turning your care over to him. The only complaint we have has come about through direct interactions with his receptionist. I have called multiple times to try to get an appointment with Dr. Peng and she creates barriers to entry. When I ask if we can get scheduled this week, she is never accommodating; instead, advises he can't see us until next week or later in the month. I ask if she can advise of cancellations, and she advises we just need to check in. Really?! Past receptionists have always been amenable to working with us. Dr. Peng, if you are there, we haven't been in to see you because your receptionist doesn't accommodate us. I noticed this pattern when the receptionist was replaced. I always ask how people are doing when I interact with them. She wasn't interested. Not at all friendly, lacks personality, and doesn't try to even work with your clients. Sadly, we have had to seek treatment close to our home - we live in Georgetown and the office is in Pflugerville. We are happy to come back, but your receptionist needs to try to work with your longstanding patients. We still need you! Please help her understand that we are just trying to schedule treatments with your office. read more

Tension, stress? Let the massage technicians at Pflugerville Wellness help you out. I have some ergonomic issues at my work place that cause my shoulder to tighten up. P.W.C. is the only way I can make it through the month. I book first available because all of the technicians know their stuff, take time to listen and help where needed. read more

The office is nice and clean. Front desk very helpful. Vanessa is wonderful if you like firm almost like a sport massage (which I love) she's always very knowledgeable of what is causing "this" pain. I wanted to change my chiropractor, so I asked coworkers if they know any good ones. One of them recommended Pflugerville wellness center. I decided to give them a try. My old chiropractor only did the treatment which is just like the bone adjustment. Pflugerville wellness center has both the treatment and massage therapy. The combination works perfectly for someone like me, sitting in front of computer too much. read more

Have been going here for over a year and had a great experience with the adjustments as well as the massage therapy, notice a significant improvement in pain in back/hips read more

I used to love this place. I really did. I would go here for a much-needed release from work and life's stresses that cause me great neck and back pain. My insurance covers hour-long massages or adjustments for a $15 co-pay, so it's a heck of a deal, too. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes, but PWC can't seem to keep the good masseuses around. Every time I find somebody halfway decent, they leave within a month. This last visit was the breaking point: I don't know who my masseuse was, but she was TERRIBLE. 1. I left in more pain than when I arrived. I know that pain reduction is not guaranteed, but that is kind of the opposite of what I wanted. 2. There was a super loud clock ticking in the room. How is this okay? Or relaxing? 3. The sheets/head rest cover was not clean. Gross. 4. The floor looked like somebody had just eaten a bunch of crackers. 5. Her breath reeeeeeked of smoke. Not okay. 6. She left me to undress for 7 minutes - that is too long. She didn't apologize or make up for time. Get it together, guys. read more

I've been receiving acupuncture treatment for chronic insomnia for about 6 weeks. After having relied on prescription medication for years, I am finally able to fall asleep easily and sleep blissfully through the night thanks to Julie! I even find that I am much more relaxed and happy during the day. I look forward to the treatments each week because I get so chillaxed it's insane. It will be a little sad when I no longer need treatments because they really are so enjoyable! Julie is sweet and obviously caring for her patients. She is very professional, and her treatments/consultations are comprehensive. Her schedule is also very accommodating for someone with a 9-5 job and a family. I would recommend her a thousand times over! The facility itself is new, clean, accessible, and the staff very friendly and attentive. read more

Professional and caring are the two words that i would describe PWC with. Never kept me waiting and always had the correct advise. Five stars for sure. Thanks Robert C i read more

Dr. Peng has helped my back pain over 8 years off and on. I have chronic problems and serious issues. He is a very gentle person and isn't rough but still gives me relief and keeps me going! I had an acute flare due to lifting my husband's wheelchair recently and he has gotten me where I can walk again! He allows me to function without surgery! He helps me more than injections have! The massage therapists are wonderful too! read more

I cannot recommend Pfugerville Wellness highly enough. It is one of the few places in Central Texas where you can get a little know technique called the "Cox Technique". This is an incredibly gentle process that works incredibly well for spinal rehab. Disk degeneration is normally treated with surgury, but the cox technique can take you a long way towards recovery without anything invasive at all. Dr. Peng is really skilled with the Cox technique. The secret is to start very gently when rehabing badly damaged disks. You have to do a lot of treatments (3 times a week to start with) but compare that surgery that might or might not work and might even make your situation much worse. If you need disk rehab, whereever you are in central texas, consider doing 1 week of treatment from Dr Peng. You will be glad you did. read more

Dr. Peng, Kristi, Christina, and Kim have completely made me and my son feel 100% better. I was having severe shoulder pain that was bothering me for about 2 months. The combination of chiropractic services and massage therapy has allowed me to feel better and get back to no pain throughout the day. My son is a golfer and has lower back pain and hip pain intermittently. These services have helped him with his flexibility and lessen his pain tremendously. I highly recommend them! read more

I went for an initial visit and had an "adjustment" with the Chiropractor and then a 30 minute massage. Needless to say the massage was the best part. I'll be getting an hour session for massage next time. The office is extremely clean and has a relaxed atmosphere with soothing music in the background. It was my first time ever getting a professional massage and it was great. This business was recommended by a coworker and I'm recommending that you try it as well, I walked away from it feeling amazed, and I'm sure you will too. read more

My doctor recommended Kerry and the Pflugerville Wellness Center and the Ideal Protein program. Overall, I lost about 45 pounds and 12 % body fat, and more importantly, my blood glucose levels dropped out of the pre-diabetic range. It took about 4 months. I feel so much better! Go, the program works! I've kept the weight off over a year now. You have to truly want to make a life change for your health. read more

Wonderful experience great doctors and staff! One stop for Chiopractor, massage & acupuncture.....also take most insurances! ;)

Pflugerville wellness chiropractor and massage therapist are all 5 stars. Easy to schedule and get an appointment pretty quickly. I have even been seen same day for a back"emergency". They also sell ideal protein which I tried but it wasn't for me. Lots of people do well though I just didn't like the taste of the prepackaged food. I try to get massages monthly. If you go make Sure you try the shiatsu (foot /standing massage). read more

I have been a client here for acupuncture for almost 2 years. I was suffering from a few ailments when It was recommended to me to try this treatment. I cannot tell you how my life has changed because of it. I was not a fan of acupuncture before seeing Julie. I had had it done in other locations but never noticed a difference. Julie is very caring and wants to treat and heal. Her main objective is to get you better or make you relaxed if that's all your needing! She is well trained, professional and compassionate. I would recommend her to anybody who wants a natural approach to healing. If I could give her 10 stars I would, she's that good! read more

Just an update to my earlier post in December that somehow got filtered. I am still having great results from my accupuncture visits with Julie. My allergies are sooo much better this Spring. That's huge since I work outdoors. My stomach cramps are still gone too. Between the accupunture and her advice on eating habits and supplements my world has changed for the better. I'm about to enter into the most stressful time of year for my job, so I plan on seeing her again to help with my energy and stress levels. read more

Enjoyed the atmosphere , very clean, every time I walk in I'm greeted. The chiropractor and Ms. Bee the massage therapist are the best. I've had several different massage therapist and no one can give me a deep tissue massage as Ms. Bee could. Love this place been here 3 times so far and will keep visiting. read more

Love, LOVE this place. Dr. Peng is great, and so far I've seen 4 massage therapists, including Robert who does Thai massage (which is SO awesome!) The staff is friendly every time I'm there. They were very understanding when I had to cancel an appointment last minute because my kiddo was sick. They utilize a lot of technology in the office and check-in process, which is cool. It's a very clean, relaxing place, and I highly recommend it. read more

My husband has since returned Pf Wellness Center as it's hard to find a good chiropractor with a full service office in the area. Dr. Peng has addressed the earlier staff and policy issues with and the front office staff seems to be very kind. Dr. Peng is a great chiropractor and all the massage therapist are wonderful and many of them have a different specialization. read more

I have had chronic neck pain for years. I have treated it in the past with massage and physical therapy. I decided to try a chiropractor. I cannot believe the difference I felt after just two adjustments...which literally take two minutes. I felt immediate relief in the form of increased range of motion and over the next few days, some of he pain subsided. I just did a medical massage yesterday and it was fantastic. I will continue seeing them for both adjustments and massage while I'm working out the problems and then probably ongoing as a preventative. The people here have been great so far! read more

They didn't return my call after a day so I drove over there only to find out they won't bill your insurance, you have to pay out of pocket.

I came here after doing extensive Internet research on treatments for my lower back. I have 2 herniated discs in the lumbar area and it had gotten so bad I was practically immobilized and on heavy pain meds. I discovered a type of treatment that seemed ideal for my situation. It is called the Cox Chiropractic Technic. Dr. Trent at Pflugerville Wellness is one of very few chiro's that perform it. It has been literally miraculous for me. It took a couple of months but I am back working, cooking, cleaning and am off all pain meds. Earlier a top spine doc in Austin told me my only hope was surgery. I am so happy to have found this. My treatments involved the Cox Technic plus ultra sound and traction. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with serious lower back problems. Dr. Trent is very cautious and the treatments are gentle and I have just gradually gotten better and better. read more

The chiropractic adjustments seem to be helping after a couple visits. The sessions are very short, but effective for my condition.

We have been going to Pflugerville Wellness Center since Dr. Hoster opened shop. We continued going after it was sold to Dr. Peng because we really enjoyed his work. He is a great chiropractor! However, we will no longer be going there since his staff lacks good customer service. I have referred several people there in the past and the major complaint we would receive from everyone is that the office staff is never on top of it. We have felt that way in the past, but because I really like Dr. Peng's work, we always overlooked it. However, this will not be the case anymore. Hopefully, it will get better in the future. read more

Dr. Peng and his staff are truly awesome! I have been receiving therapy there for over a year and have received professionaly and caring services. I was in really bad shape when I first started there, and could barely walk. Over time my back seems to be getting better. Although I still have flare-ups from time to time, if I get back in to see them they usually can get me taken care of quickly. Many thanks to his staff Amber, Kristi and Kim they are all really great!!! read more

This place is great. Especially like the massage element and that they work with insurance providers.

Omg!! The awesomeness of this place cannot be described. I went in there was chiropractic adjustment as well as Ashiatsu. Both of the experience were awesome. The staff is always very adjusting and polite. They always greet with a smile. The doctor is really experienced and does a great job. I highly recommend the Ashiatsu by Kim D. She glides on the body making the pain vanish like some fairy. Its okay to say heaven is under her feet. Plus she really has the softest of feet that i know of. God I am still in trans.. Please visit them and change your life for good. read more
