By the time the massage started I was already relaxed. The massage itself was great, and consistently had the right pressure. My favorite part was the Gua Sha facial. The technique was terrific, and my skin felt great afterwards. The rest of the session flowed nicely too: hand and foot reflexology and a hydrating mask. By the end I felt completely relaxed and pampered. If you're in the Leander area and want something more than a basic massage, Body Lab is worth the trip. I'll definitely be going back. read more

I have been here two times now for a head spa treatment. The first time I had a woman named Lauren, who was amazing. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and cared for, and the service was great. My hair was soft, I didn't feel rushed, every touch was pleasant and relaxing. This second time I had a woman who I believe was named Emma, and my experience was much less pleasant. This time the pressure was very light, things seemed to have been skipped (like she rubbed one side of my neck, but not the other during the scalp rub), I was splashed with water on my face multiple times, I got water in my ears, and I know for certain I didn't get all of the exact same methods as I got the first time. I also had an add on foot massage and it was incredibly sub par. The pressure was super light and it felt like someone who hasn't ever massaged before. It's supposed to add 15 minutes (per their website) but I finished maybe 7 minutes after my allotted time. There was LOTS of banging around behind my head like she kept dropping the head sprayer into the tub. Lots of splashing from that as well. She was in the lobby when I was checking out so I said my service was fine, and tipped her well, as she did perform a service even though it wasn't great. For my "me day" I went to this spa and I really liked it. The place itself is delicate and nice, you can definitely feel the relaxing vibe as soon as you walk in. I got a head and scalp massage and indeed it was really relaxing. The only thing is that it felt a bit rushed and the lady spent too much time just blow drying my hair (and it's not professional blow drying). The front desk girl was super kind from the moment I booked my appointment until I left, very attentive and welcoming, which I really appreciated. I've had a facial and a massage, both of which were excellent. The esthetician I had for the essential facial was very knowledgeable, and the way she expertly applied & removed products on my face was perfect - no errant drips into my eyes, nose, or ears. The entire experience was relaxing, and my skin felt hydrated for days! The massage therapist provided deep tissue pressure without any discomfort. Her style was similar to the Chinese reflexology massage, which I liked. Areas not being massaged were kept draped with a sheet; nothing felt awkward. Warm, wet towels used to wipe off the massage oil weren't as effective as I would have liked. I would have preferred a lighter residue-free oil. Overall, I had a great experience here in regards to a 30 minute massage with cupping. It's located in a newish development of Cedar Park, and it was easy to make an appointment the morning of. The cupping was the vacuum-style versus the gas style, and the masseuse was able to focus treatment to my legs since I was having some fascitis pain. Spent several hours with Lauren and she's fantastic. I had a deep tissue massage with the scraping add on, a wooden massage and head spa. I was a little worried when we didn't go over any specific needs or problem areas beforehand, but she found problems easily and worked on them efficiently. The head spa was nice and while it did leave my hair soft, I would have loved a hair mask or something more moisturizing as I felt like it looked dull. This was the strangest experience and I was really disappointed as it's close to home so I had high hopes. I made a last minute appointment on a Friday afternoon for a 5:30pm massage. Upon arrival, the person who greeted me had a language barrier but I filled out the paperwork. (to note, I had called a couple days ahead of this appt to ask about a scalp treatment and the person who answered had great English. Perhaps this was like her mother?) I was called back and as mentioned by others, there was NOT a full size sheet on the table. It was a small thin towel/sheet that did not cover my backside like most massages. Again, a language barrier so it was hard to describe what I was seeking and I figured I'd just go with it. About 15 minutes into the massage she heard the "door ding" and left the room apologetically. Then she returned. Once she moved to my legs (I was still on my stomach at this point) she climbed on the table and sat between my legs. As others have mentioned, she wasn't incredibly careful with towel placement. I'm not super modest, but it felt uncomfortable for sure. At one point, I questioned if she had her phone propped up and was watching videos on her phone. The way she would be rubbing (not really a massage, seriously more like a very soft rub down) and then stop to do something on her phone was annoying. I ended up leaving when she asked me to turn over. I told her I had a headache and paid for 1 hour as opposed to the full 90 minutes I had scheduled. It was uncomfortable and I will not be back. The more I've thought about it, I wish I had been more upfront about the situation, b/c a phone should have never been in the room. read more

My deep tissue massage with Gua sha was THE BEST massage I've ever experienced! I'm so glad to have found this new little gem here in Cedar Park. The vibes inside the spa are relaxing and upscale without feeling stuffy. The staff are so responsive and kind, offering all the amenities you'd expect from a high end spa but the prices are so much more reasonable than anywhere else in town. The massage was okay. I wouldn't go back. I have received better massages for far less. I also, had the massage therapist come out and ask me why I did not leave a tip and that she worked hard. Not to dismiss that she didn't work hard but I also worked hard for the 145 that it was already. I was shocked that she came out and asked me for a tip. I have never had that happen. Giving it a 2 star is stretching it. The massage was like a soft rub and not really what I would consider a deep tissue massage. read more

Do not get the head spa. The experience was disappointing. She massaged my head briefly, applied some oil, shampooed very roughly, and then used a steaming machine. After that, she gave me a very light body massage. My hair ended up so tangled that she even suggested cutting it. She claimed my hair was very dry, which isn't true--whatever she did actually made my hair super dry. In the end, she added a ton of oil, and I left the place with wet, oily hair. read more
