I used the Too Good To Go app and am so impressed by the quality and amount of food I got. One of the best dinners I've ever had from Just Salad or any of its competitors. I was given a very hearty warm bowl and yummy soup. Service was friendly and quick. Very professional. Ambiance is bright/well-lit. I love this franchise but omg do not go to this location. I was the one customer in the store with about five employees walking around but it took a million years to get my salad. It was like I wasn't even there. Ridiculous. Save yourself the wait and go to Sweetgreen down the block. read more

Word of professionalism on June 24th 2023 from 8:00 to 8:21 not a single person asked or I acknowledge my presence and decided to avoid talking to me for 20 minutes until I walked up after delivery guy was acknowledged but not me? Then I had enough of this generation. I'm 43 years of age and I can see stupidity and Bias behavior from a mile away. I'd said no no, I've been waiting here for 20 minutes. So Just Salad, check and watch your own footage on this day and you will see that your staff chatted with everyone else but me and they clearly saw me waiting patiently in the line. Green osprey backpack. They should acknowledge customer as that front door is open and take a look. This is why people today in your city are violate and this could have turn from the worst. Walked in and waited about a good 6 minutes before someone came to take my order. After salad was made and young lady rang it up and seen that I was paying cash she took my $20 and called out the name Brandon... and left the cash on the covered salad and walked away. Stood there waiting for someone anyone to come and assist. Another 3 minute wait. Then another young lady finally approached and was just looking at me... I said that's my $20. Waiting for my change. She gave me a funny look and said what kind of salad did I have? I answered her and informed her that the other girl already rung it up. I'm not sure why she looked as if she was holding her tongue. Like she wanted to say something. But honestly I was standing there wayyyyyyyy too long not being addressed for her to have an attitude. I just wanted to pay for my salad and leave. Hate giving these but this shitty review is based on how disappointing the experience and the quality of product. 1. Clearly I specified my order but the guy, who might be the head guy messed it up. It's just one ingredient change. No big deal. Just a mistake and they fixed it. 2. Low energy. No one looked welcoming. They all had zombie like faces that absolutely hated what they were doing. HUGE difference from Sweetgreen down the block. Not sure how you fix this. 3. This detox shitty smoothie was nothing but grinded ice and like one slice of apple and two blueberries. Very happy to have this in the neighborhood now. They have some good warm bowls as well as the salads. Staff is nice a through the lunch crowd pretty quickly. Portions are pretty generous, and the quality of ingredients and recipes is high. That said, it's pretty expensive. Most of their salads are $12-$13 + tax. That's probably cheaper than sweetgreen, and comparable to dig inn, but still spendy for lunch my opinion. read more

The Scarlet Vetter says...I was in Long Island City for work and my clients and I decided on a working lunch. We turned to Uber Eats and they selected "Just Salad." Not being a fan of "just salad" (especially when I had not eaten at all and had been up since 3 am to get to the airport) I was relieved to see there were wraps in addition to salads. After all, my one client's arm was beginning to look delicious for God's sake. Thank the lord Jesus we ordered and Uber said only 35 minutes for the delivery! I ordered the spicy chicken wrap with extra avocado and the usual dressing mixed into the wrap contents. I really liked the wrap. It was fresh, tasty and appetizing looking. The romaine was crisp and cool. Alas, however, it was not spicy. Not a trace of heat. I even blew on it to see if I could rouse a spark, LOL! Nothing. One demerit for Just Salad. I did like the smoothie. It tasted pretty good and since it was green, at least I felt healthy drinking it. My companions had good reports on their "just salad" selections, the Poblano Chicken and a "you design your own salad" salad. We will order from here again but next time I will order "extra spicy" in order to hope for some heat. read more

They only brought one order and charged me for both. Then, when I tried to get a refund, they refunded the cheap one. Don't support this horrible business. My coworkers and I have been waiting for this place for open for weeks ! And it was definitely worth the wait! My coworker Chanell ordered a cease salad from Lee and her customer service skills are immaculate ! She def deserves recognition at just salad ! I also ordered a Caesar salad and it was amazing. That was my first time having an empanada with that kind of dough. I have to say that I prefer it. Wish Filipinos used that dough when we make our empanadas. lol. The pollo arepa was everything!!! I had never had an arepa until the day I had one here. The meat was seasoned so nicely in their tomato based sauce. And the actual arepa... soft yet had a bit of a crunch. It was the perfect textures for me. I also enjoyed their soursop juice. It paired perfectly with my meal. My friend got the pernil arepa and was impressed by the taste and the green sauce. I didn't get much information out of him other than it was hitting the spot lol. Definitely a solid place to go in the area. It's kind of medium sized in there but there is plenty of seating if you're with a party no bigger than 3 or 4 people. I think most people come in here for a grab and go situation. But it's cool to hang around to watch the kitchen at work and hear the music.
