Make your reservation - this place was busy even right at 5 pm on a Friday!…read moreMiss Ada is the perfect place to come with friends and order a bunch of things to share. I highly recommend getting an assortment of dips and small plates - 2-3 dishes per person was just right for us. I can't pick a favorite item of the evening: The Israeli Salad Hummus was some of the best/most flavorful hummus I've had, the Whipped Ricotta was perfect and so fluffy, and the Matbucha & Labne are also great additions to the table. They make a really good Falafel here, and the Crispy Cauliflower were perfectly crispy and well-sauced. The Chocolate Babka dessert is a great way to end your meal, and they do make a solid espresso martini for those wondering. The only thing I was not a fan of is their drink menu - all of the cocktails are spicy or smoky. Although you can sub out different alcohols, it would be nice to have a few other options.

really cozy and lively mediterranean restaurant in fort greene!…read more- loved how subtly smokey the sweet potato hummus was and the whipped ricotta was sooo velvety and sweet - the crispy cauliflower was one of the best single dishes i've had in a while. how they got the exterior so crunchy is magic - half brick chicken was cooked perfectly and a bit olive forward. and i don't even like olives but i still quite enjoyed it

I love that they book through resy and that they communicate via text. My experience was at 5:30, on a thursday at the chef counter. The server was amazing (forgot her name but will update when i remember), she asked for my name and did an amazing job explaining the menu with recommendations. I tried so many things, but unfortunately i did not take a single picture :(. The food was amazing, i had the sourdough (stole the show for me), tried the strip bass, the lamb and finished with a sorbet. The ambiance and atmosphere were great, not too loud. The dinner at the chefs counter def enhanced the experience for me. Each plate looked perfect and made me want to know what the item was. Highly recommend and looking forward to my next visit

Very entertaining to see how they put each dish together and how they operate the grill Food: ordered the Pita, mackerel toast, heirloom tomato, scallop special, and the lamb. Everything was phenomenal, there were no bad bites. Nothing that felt mediocore. Also got this wine from the salt and herb section and it was delicious! Highlights for me were the pita and nduja hummus, hiramasa crudo and the scallop

Service was incredibly warm, and our waiter gave helpful recs when navigating the wine menu, which featured mostly wines from Lebanon. For 2, we got: - baba ghannouj - muhammara - dips come with fresh, fluffy, warm pita - batata hara (crispy, spicy fried potatoes with garlic) - heirloom tomato (with garlic toum and sunflower seeds) - octopus - lamb chops Everything was delicious and extremely flavorful! The heirloom tomatoes were a standout dish: fresh, packed tons of flavor, and I loved how everything went together. The waiter mentioned they're seasonal and will be swapped out for something for the fall season soon. Dips and potatoes were excellent. Octopus was the one weaker spot. The skewer was a bit small and the preparation left the meat a little lackluster and chewy (I'm picky with my octopus!) The lamb chops were very tender with tons of flavor - char, mint, meat. A bit heavy but might just be because I don't eat a ton of red meat. I was VERY full by the end of the meal! I think we could have done 1-2 fewer dishes and still been very satisfied, but I'm glad I got to try so many things. The mains took a while to come out, though I enjoyed the longer, non-rushed, 'let's chat over delicious bites for hours' feeling of the meal overall. Great dining experience. The bill came to about ~$100 per person for the above + a drink (one wine, one mocktail) each. Between the fantastic ambiance, service, and high quality flavors, I found it to be worth the price and great for a treat yourself outing, date, or special occasion.

Food was excellent, with my favorite dish being the lamb ribs. Baba ghannouj, snap peas and sfeeha were all delicious as well. I do prefer the muhammara at Miss Ada, but would order the rest of the dips (and hummus) here again. 4.5 stars.

I asked if there was any way to fix this, and right away, the hostess brought us to another table with a much better view of that magnificent manhattan skyline and river. Then the food. Omg the food. We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. You MUST get the fries. We ordered the tahini ranch along with the tahini catsup. In my opinion, that wasn't necessary. But if you're a ranch lover, go for it. Then the dessert! Soft serve with a cherry reduction and some kind of flourless chocolate brownie... I don't need to say more. The service was excellent. The food delicious. The view was perfect, though no one celebrated the sun going down like I was told they do. We will go back, with four or more so we can finish all the food. We left way too much behind since we were heading out after and not home. Lesson learned: laser wolf is a great celebration/date night venue for all the right reasons. But go with a larger party, not just two.

Founding chef is a James Beard awardee. Wonderful literary references aside, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The assortment of unlimited salatim, Hebrew for salad, was enjoyable and easily filed me without the guilt of overeating. And the view of the Manhattan skyline from the restaurant is just splendid. And one caveat, this Israeli meal is my small reminder that we should never judge or be judged by the actions of governments or political leaders. Humanity is always bigger than politics. Hatred becomes dangerous when we stop seeing people as individuals and start judging entire groups. History has shown us where that can lead. This is a reminder to myself and to anyone seeking peace and love (Channeling George Harrison and John Lennon, still have a bit of beatlemania from my Liverpool trip ). Lesson learned: if you're going with a group, make sure you have your final number when making the reservation because adding someone later may not be possible. We started with the Mezzi Filistini, a mixed platter of babaganoush, muhammara, tabbouleh, salata, tahini and labneh. This was very good, and we tackled it with zest, devouring it with the accompanying pita bread. We also ordered the falafel, chicken shawarma platter and beef kebab platter. The chicken shawarma was decent, but I would have loved more chicken and bigger pieces. There was considerably more rice than chicken, which made the platter feel a little unbalanced. The beef kebab was better, with a good portion of meat and rice, and the accompanying vegetables weren't too bad either. One disappointment for me was the lack of a proper hot sauce. Something with a little heat and flavor would have paired really well with both the shawarma and kebab and, for me, would have elevated the meal. Overall, the food was good and the ambiance was pleasant. Service was also good for the most part, although I was disappointed that we weren't asked if we were interested in dessert before wrapping up the meal. Al Badawi is probably a place I would try again, but not one I'm in a rush to return to anytime soon.

It wasn't a full establishment at this time. There wasn't water brought to the table. I I had to keep repeating to him about water . Imagine she had to watch me eat my entire meal and hers didn't come. When I mentioned it he said she didn't order. The food wasn't as fresh or good as it was in the past . It was not worth it. The hostess had a few of her teenage friends visiting her at her station. Those friends were not employees or patrons. They were obnoxiously loud and aggressive in their tone of voice. It was extremely distracting to me I was unable to enjoy my meal. If I didn't look at her she would not have asked her friends to lower it down . I at one time recommended this over and over again. Now don't waste your time or money . It went down hill with food and customer service. I had multiple occasions here in the past not any more ..
