The service was great!! It wasn't busy so I got my bowl very quickly. The fish tasted fresh and the rice was fluffy. The restaurant was clean. They now offer the option to purchase a reusable bowl if you plan on returning! They also have a trading card vending machine which is jarring to see.

Fast, delicious, clean, servers are friendly, what else do you need for a quick bite? Seafood tasted fresh, and I was impressed. I did a yelp event where I tried a signature bowl and this time I built my own, they walked me through the process and it was a really fun way to do poke! Love this place.

Good at atmosphere was good but I found the prices a high. A large bowl with a coke was $25. This seems pretty high to me considering the store doesn't even have a bathroom for the customers. I had a small scoop of Mac salad for an extra $1 which didn't seem worth the price. as well as half an avacado for $1.50. There was a piece of avocado shell in my bowl but that's not a huge deal to me. Overall the flavors were good and the service was quick

I actually came into this place to grab some drinks from DIY Tea Lab but it being conveniently located together, I decided to give Just Poke a try as well. I'm super in love with their branding and how clear everything is. The menu is well done and easy to read, as are the labels for all their offerings. I'm a total Build Your Own Bowl kind of gal so I get excited when the labels are accurate. I came here on a weekday afternoon and there seemed to be only one person available to take orders, but it wasn't a problem. I was second in line and the worker was doing her best to keep the line moving. She was super nice, friendly, efficient - pretty much all the positive qualities you'd expect. Moving onto my food, it tasted great and was well filled. The two things that felt a little underfilled were the protein and masago. There wasn't much protein and such a small amount of masago, but everything else was plentiful. I also really liked the sauce options. With my bowl, I got Truffle Garlic Aioli, Roasted Sesame and Ponzu. I love love love the bag and how it's such nice quality. It's unusual for me to see restaurants give such nice bags. Has always felt more like a retail thing. The bowl and utensils provided are also compostable so I'm happy. Overall a great experience and would definitely come back :)

This is for the free Yelp Elite Event Perk co-hosted by Just Poke and DIY Tea Lab. I stopped in on Sunday 2/21/21, first day of the campaign and within first half hour of opening. Why? Free Sunday street parking! This stretch of Fremont can get congested with traffic coverging to the self-proclaimed center of the universe or onward to Westlake/Dexter, Queen Anne, Ballard or heading towards Phinney Ridge. Mask up and be mindful of social distancing upon entry! I was greeted warmly by the Just Poke counter person. I was here primarily to claim my free Spam musubi YEE Perk. She showed me the assortment available and said to select one after my DIY Tea Lab check-in. Spam musubi was generous, served warm, and delicious! Will definitely have to return to try other menu items or a customized bowl created from the assortment of fresh ingredients. Nearby photo ops: Fremont Troll, Waiting for the Interurban, JP Patches, Lenin, Fremont Bridge, and the Canal. Recommeded!

The Asian guy with glasses provided great service. He was quick with the drinks and attentive and patient with my poke order. Can't ask for anything better! The drinks were nicely made and not too sweet, like I requested.

My bowl was missing cucumber, seaweed, crab, and edamame, and tasted very bland

I ordered pickup from Just Poke via Caviar, and it has turned into the biggest headache. I really wish I hadn't. I ordered online to try and limit my covid exposure, and showed up at the store to be told that they did not receive the order. Whatever, not a big deal. A person behind the counter takes a photo of my online order with his phone and proceeds to make it. The person behind the counter gave me my order in a stapled bag, so I take it, go home, and finally open it to find that one of my bowls is completely wrong. It was missing over half of the toppings it was supposed to have. It looked very measly and unappetizing. It tasted bland and was just very disappointing. I immediately contacted customer service for a refund. I got a response from the owner of the business, Norman, and he was very apologetic and said I'd get a refund. I waited about a week, and still no refund, so I emailed Norman again and he said he'd see what's going on. I got a call from the Fremont store's manager, and she says I basically have to figure out how to get a refund from Caviar myself. Well, long story short, Caviar wound up somehow charging me a second time for my order instead of refunding it, and has been completely unhelpful in fixing the problem. So, now not only did I not get refunded, I was charged a second time for the same $30 order, and am going to have to get it corrected by my credit card company. It's been a real headache. I only give 2 stars because I do appreciate Norman's quick response to my initial email.

Fine option for a build-your-own bowl. Base: brown rice was tasty, zucchini noodles available for +$1. Proteins: Tuna is fine. Sweet potatoes were an interesting option. These were sweet and would have made a tasty dessert, but didn't love them in a savory bowl. Mix-ins: Pretty typical options with upcharges for more than the permitted amounts. Deliver came with chopsticks, but no soy sauce (which would've been nice). Miso soup was on the menu, but not available the night I ordered. Fine, but not memorable.

This place is a 3.5 in my book. Clean store with several tables and people usually take their food to go, from the looks of it. The torch salmon bowl was eh. I personally prefer torched/seared salmon more crispy on the outside. I don't like that I don't get to pick my toppings/sauce with the torched salmon (but I also didn't ask if I could cuz I wanna try their combo). My friend liked his bowl but he's generally not a very picky person. I think I'll stick to fob poke

I ordered online because there was no parking out in front. There was a parking lot next door which charges $7 for 1-2 hours. I ordered the rainbow bowl and ordered extra eel which was listed as seared warm( it wasn't) $2.50, avocado for $1, seaweed salad for $1, crab for $1 so my order came out to be $21 and then they added a tip and tax plus some soup so my order ended up being $26.00 I realized the bowl already comes with crab and seaweed salad. Why am I paying extra for ingredients because there was no parking and I ordered online to get my order. The food was good but not great.

This is suppose to be the signature bowl, rainbow roll.....is missing half the toppings. Feel free to do a comparison of the picture online.

Hello new lunch spot! I went to Just Poké for the first time this week and was really glad I did. I got the large size Rainbow Roll Bowl (salmon and ahi) and was very satisfied. You get a choice of base (I did white rice and greens) and a substantial amount of fish for $14. The fish and cucumbers are mixed in a tasty ponzu sauce (or something different if you'd like), and there's a good selection of free add-ons like edamame, seaweed salad, jalapeños and pineapple. Crab is included on that list, which has to make you question the quality a bit. House made kimchi, eel, and other goodies are available for an extra dollar or two. I couldn't resist getting a boba tea at the DYI Tea Lab that shares their space, but at $6+, that's not an indulgence I'll be regularly partaking in. Overall, a really tasty, satisfying and truly healthy lunch with good value behind it. I'll definitely be back soon.

    Alex N.

Super friendly service and clean environment. Parking is hard to find but it's definitely worth it! I would definitely come back :)

All the staff were pretty chill and nice. Love all their smiles. I got my favorite, Beef Stew. I ordered this often in Lynnwood site, especially when I was sick. Regarless, it's on different location, the taste is the same! So, I'm happy about it. The vibe is completely different than Lynnwood one. This restaurant is darker and guests are way louder. Mostly, university students, I think. I like dim light atmosphere, unfortunately, I can't enjoy it much here. Too loud? Too dark? Or it's just not the right light bulbs, it got me dizzy. It was at night, it made the room even gloomy. Upon returning to the parking lot, the atmosphere is somewhat unsettling. This is particularly true for a woman walking alone. To access the parking lot, I had to walk through the darkness to the back of the building. Unfortunately, due to the narrow parking lot, one car was parked in a manner that blocked the exit way, requiring me to reverse all the way out. Overall fantastic staff, fantastic food, but I may not comeback because the vibe just doesn't suit me. This restaurant will most likely be very busy in the better location and fresh look.

Thankfully dine-in is back open again, so we got here on a Saturday morning around 11:20am to indoor seating that was nearly full and a small line that was forming at the front counter. Walls have a bunch of photo frames, and overall place felt very homely. They have a ton of Hawaiian style plates and even burgers and some seafood, though we and most others got the former to eat. I ordered their chicken and pork combo Hawaiian style plate, and my bestie got their chicken katsu Hawaiian style plate. Portions are huge for both plates and both also came with macaroni salad. They give you sooooo much meat no matter what you get. To go in slightly more detail: - Chicken and pork combo: both meats were flavored very well, and a little sweet too though pretty salty without using the rice as a palette cleanser. Chicken had more depth in its flavor; the pork's flavor was a little too much for my liking, and was slightly harder to chew. Both meats had some sauce hat went onto the rice itself. This didn't detract from my overall experience here, though. - Chicken katsu: we both agreed this was our favorite after exchanging pieces of each other's dish. The katsu is crispy and crunchy, and the chicken itself retained a lot of its juiciness. Katsu sauce on the side is honestly optional since the meat itself is already salty enough. This place does share extremely limited parking with Cakes of Paradise next door, so get here early or be prepared to drive around the area to find some. Parking is scarce, so plan ahead and be patient. We came on a Wednesday and happened to score a parking spot right in front of the bakery. Once you arrive, get in line immediately--there will be one. The woman taking our order was incredibly peppy and friendly, even while juggling everything: taking in-person orders, answering phones, serving customers, and bagging food. Seriously impressive. All the seats were filled, so we ordered everything to-go. We got the famous crispy ginger chicken, spam musubi, and chicken long rice. I was hoping for oxtail soup and asked about it--she explained they only offer it on certain days and recommended calling early in the morning to check, then getting there quickly because it sells out fast. Can't wait to come back and try it. Back at the hotel, we feasted. The crispy ginger chicken is famous for a reason--so flavorful, perfectly crispy, and somehow even better the next day. The chicken long rice was packed with noodles directly in the soup (not separately) so the broth had mostly soaked into the noodles, but it was still deeply flavorful and comforting. The spam musubi leans on the sweeter side, which is great if that's your thing. Overall, this place is all about heart, hustle, and seriously satisfying Hawaiian comfort food. Come early, expect a line, plan for parking--and you'll be rewarded.

I was originally going to order some musubi, but after seeing a curry dish, I couldn't resist. Curry Loco Moco Don ($16) - The chef first piles a mound of rice in the bowl. It seems to be higher quality short grain rice, giving great mouthfeel at first, but then biting into it, the overcooked mushy qualities emerge. The rice is sprinkled with a bit of furikake, adding a briny and savory flavor profile. Two beef patties are set on top, both with seemingly fake grill marks, perhaps indicative of commercial patties. They are homogeneous with a kind of spongy texture, pressed into a puck with a bunch of filler like Japanese hambagu. The beef is somewhat tender, but isn't soft enough to be cut through with a plastic fork. There's a fried egg on top, complete with runny yolk and even a small amount of runny white. They then ladle a couple of scoops of Japanese curry over the top. It's somewhat generic, probably a normal boxed curry mix with no embellishment, but it's cooked well. It has a nice thickness, isn't too thin or runny, lending a good curry flavor to the dish. I do with it came with a bit more curry since after eating about half the dish, it was all gone. Finally, some pickled ginger on top completes the dish. The curry is quite filling, probably close to 2 pounds of food. (4/5) Musubi Kai is a convenient and quick stop for a bite while downtown. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

The restaurant is smaller, with tables for mostly two or four people. They have an outside area, though the tables were not set up when we went. We were running late for a show, so I previewed the menu before arriving and ordered immediately upon seating. Our total time there was an impressive 40 min with their fast service. Very good to know for future reference. Karaage is in the name and is their signature dish. They make it the right way using chicken thigh. Prices are reasonable for the Seattle area. We will return again. The Food: Curry Rice with Karaage, $17.95 - 4 Stars This popular curry rice comes with a choice of protein, which naturally, we chose karaage. The curry sauce is delicious. There is a lot of rice on this plate though. Hubby left half behind. Poke Salad with tuna, $14.95 - 5 Stars Their poke salad with choice of 3.5 oz protein was excellent with the mixed greens. The salad wasn't overdressed and tasted refreshing with a light dressing. I would order this again. Karaage Chicken, small, $6.95 - 5 Stars Glad they offer the chicken as a side. The small is a good compliment to salad. Instead of four pieces, we had five. Hubby was happy to have more protein to go with the rice. They are more of a 4.5 stars rating. Their service speed bumped them up to 5 Stars.

If you order a rice dish, they include complimentary miso soup. It leans a little salty, but it's still comforting and a nice way to start the meal. I got the karaage curry rice this time--the karaage was crispy on the outside and super juicy inside. The portion was definitely filling. Service was quick and friendly too.

This is genuinely the best poké I've ever had in my life (I haven't been to Hawaii yet, lol). I am…read morea poké addict, and I just about will stop by at any poké restaurant just to try it. This spot was recommended to me by a friend. The interior of the restaurant was warm and very decorated. There were a lot of Hawaiian cultural references, which added to the ambiance. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. And despite it being super busy the day that I went, they were all patient with each customer. I had a few samples of their fish, and let me tell you, the fish is FRESH. I am usually picky with tuna because they tend to have a fishy taste, but Ono's tuna was NOT fishy at all. Also, all the different flavors of poké were seasoned PERFECTLY. I got the spicy salmon and the scallop poke. They were both buttery and tender. The flavors did not overtake the natural flavor of the fish, and the sauce was seeped deep into the salmon; the same goes for the scallop. Sometimes at poké restaurants the sauce will sit on top of the fish, but NOT HERE. This place is genuinely SO SO good. I highly recommend coming to this place and trying their poké! + This place is so good that I am willing to make the trip out to this place if I am ever back in this state.
