My family and I decided to eat here last minute and we were not expecting much but we are so glad we did. Each of our dishes were amazing, and the ambiance walking in was very welcoming. The server was super sweet and very attentive. The prices are great too! Highly recommend!

We haven't been to this place in 10 years and it has upgraded. It's style and food! Super super cute inside. Cozy and great weight. Staff and the Mac and cheese is delicious. And the burgers are good also.

We enjoyed our meal at Jus Mac. We got the All American Mac and it is everything you would want out of a classic Mac and Cheese. It was oddly quiet when we went but that wouldn't stop us from coming back. While you can get full meals here, this is also a great place to come if you get a random craving for a savory snack.

This is mine and my husband go to spot!! Love the food it's soo delicious!!! We always go the Mac and cheese. We finally ventured off and tried new things on the menu. The burger and chicken pesto are the best!!! Francis is very helpful and friendly always welcomes us when we come in!!! She is the best and we will be coming very often!!!

Absolutely loved the food. I ordered to-go and it was ready in about 10 minutes. I waited on the patio, which was lovely, and the interior was clean and charming. The counter staff were incredibly kind and helpful with the menu. Highly recommend this place.

The food is amazing, always comes out hot and fresh! Many different types of Mac and cheese to choose from, with amazing presentation and flavors :). The workers here are very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu when making recommendations or if you have any questions. If you've ever drove by here and wondered if it's worth checking out, you totally should!

I dined in with some friends on my first visit here and loved the experience. Service was great, everything was fresh, and you could tell how good the quality of the food was. The thing is though, you gotta be careful with your choices. I got the PITMASTER, and as a bbq lover, it was better than anything I expected out of this place. It was delicious, flavorful and a great combination! I was so happy with my experience! However, my friend got the RUSTIC and said it bored her lol you really have to be careful because this place is kinda hit or miss with the mac and cheese flavors. Also, I would recommend getting the 1/2lb serving, unless you're a mac and cheese fanatic. I could only eat half of the 1lb serving and had to take the rest home. A friend got the boneless wings and made me jealous I didn't get some for myself. It had a great, crunchy breading despite being covered in sauce. They were also LARGE! Bigger than any boneless wings I've seen anywhere! Definitely worth trying if you dine in. I came back to try the regular wings since the boneless were so good. Unfortunately, I got the wings to-go on my next visit and they were very disappointing. They packed them in an aluminum container, so I think they kept cooking during my 20 minute drive home. By the time I got to eat them, they were over cooked and dry. I don't even remember what they tasted like because I forced myself to finish them. I really don't know why they would use aluminum packaging for wings, but I'm convinced that's the only reason my wings were bad. I'm willing to give them another shot dining in since the fresh boneless wings were fantastic! But be warned if you get the wings to go.

I stopped into Greedy Lion recently. I was already familiar with the location since it used to be a…read morewine bar, but I hadn't been back since it changed over, so I decided to check it out. Espresso Martini: 4/5 This was good! It was a little on the sweet side, but that's actually how I like my espresso martinis, so no complaints from me. I'd definitely order it again. Greedy Wings: 3/5 I really liked the yam glaze! It gave the wings a nice sweet and savory flavor. For me, though, the actual chicken needed more seasoning. It didn't taste like the wings had been brined or seasoned all the way through. I also would've loved a little more crunch on them. Give me that glaze with a well-seasoned, extra-crispy wing and we might have something! The service was great! Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and very attentive, which always makes a difference. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. The wings weren't quite a home run for me, but there was enough that I liked to make me want to come back and try some other things on the menu. I'll definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the food and overall experience were extremely disappointing. My daughter ordered the catfish sandwich, and I ordered the grilled salmon sliders. There were no other parties in the restaurant, so we expected our food to arrive quickly and freshly prepared. Instead, we waited over an hour. When my food finally arrived, the salmon sliders were severely overcooked and extremely dry. I sent them back and explained to Hayuhel how disappointed I was. To his credit, he was very receptive and handled my concerns professionally. What was most disappointing was the lack of involvement from management. There was a manager on the floor who appeared unwilling to make eye contact or take any responsibility for the excessive wait time or the poor quality of the food. Hayuhel provided excellent service, but unfortunately, the food and management's response made this a very disappointing experience.

We looked up family style chicken so we could have chicken and some sides and be able to sit down and eat and we stumbled upon Tumble 22. Let me tell you we were not disappointed. It's here in the Heights off of Houston Avenue and Washington. And we were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Zeid (so?!) brought our new little server in training Johan and once we went over the menu and decided what we wanted to do for appetizers we ordered the heavenly deviled eggs. Do not pass that up - they are heavenly. The devil part is so good and the bacon on top absolutely delicious. And they came out right away. So we ordered the 1/2 mix. That came with a large breast and thigh and a drumstick and a wing. You get two sides with it which we ordered the collard greens and the mac & cheese. Then it came with cute little bread and butter pickles stuck on top of it. That chicken was so crispy and so hot because it came right out of the fire. And the collard greens were very good. They had turkey in them and just all kinds of stuff. The mac & cheese was really creamy very good. And it was enough for both of us to share. And it was only $17. I could not believe it. We like to always try a little bit of everything. So there are different levels of heat you can get on your chicken and we just got the regular traditional. But next time I think we're gonna try the one up with the little jalapeño in it. So then for dessert, my husband got the chocolate pecan toffee pie. And it is Chuck full of pecans and toffee and chocolate in there. It came out cold and it was delicious. I got the peanut butter chocolate mousse pie. But I got that to go, so I'll let you know later how that is, but it looked delicious. So we had a lemonade which was freshly made and tea and that large meal of chicken and sides and two desserts and our appetizer and it was only $45. . I'll tell you what if you want to have a great meal not expensive they've got kids menus that are a lot less because kids tend to waste so they're small enough that I think my grandkids would eat them with no problem. But the chicken was really good. We will definitely be back. Check them out and tell them Miss Lou sent you

The host/person, sitting our party of 4, didn't bother to ask if we wanted a booth or table. They tried to sit us right in the front at a table for 6 while there were several booths/tables for 4 available (more to come about this later). The server took our drink order (soda/water) and they couldn't remember who ordered what. The soda machine was directly behind us so they didn't have to go very far to get them. 2 of us ordered The O. G. (1 w/o mayo), the other 2 people order the Tupelo Hot Honey, and the Dive Burger. All but 1 ordered French fries the other ordered Mac and Cheese. The food came out quickly. The issue when they brought out our food is that they had a hard time letting us know which chicken sandwich was which. The person who ordered the burger was underwhelmed. They said it was good, but not anything extraordinary. They did enjoy their Mac and Cheese. As we were eating our food the host sat a couple at that table for 6 and as they were waiting on their food a larger party came in. Had the couple not offered to move they wouldn't have been able to sit the larger party. Overall, the food was great, but the service could be better. Will be back to try their grilled version of their chicken sandwiches.

Being recognized among the 25 best new restaurants in the country certainly caught our attention, and we were curious to discover what made this Houston restaurant so special. We arrived with high expectations, and I can confidently say that the experience did not disappoint. The first thing that stood out wasn't the food, but the people and the atmosphere. From the moment we walked through the door until we left, the hospitality was extraordinary. Our server, Jorge, was wonderful, but what truly impressed us was how that same level of warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness extended to the entire staff. Everyone made us feel genuinely welcome, something that speaks volumes about the restaurant's commitment to hospitality. The atmosphere complemented the experience perfectly. The restaurant had a lively, welcoming energy, with great music playing at just the right volume, loud enough to enjoy but never interfering with conversation. It's those thoughtful details, combined with exceptional service, that make a dining experience truly memorable. Then came the food, and this is where the experience became even more interesting. We started with the Savory Scallion Waffle with Fried Orange Chicken, and what an incredible combination of flavors! The chicken was cooked to perfection, with a beautifully crispy exterior that reminded me of traditional Southern fried chicken. But what really elevated the dish was the orange sauce. Its sweet and tangy character complemented the savory chicken beautifully, creating a combination that felt both familiar and surprisingly different. The scallion waffle was equally impressive. It had everything a properly prepared waffle should have: a lightly crispy, golden exterior, a soft and tender interior, and plenty of flavor. What made the dish exceptional was the perfect balance between savory and sweet. The richness of the fried chicken, the sweetness and acidity of the orange sauce, and the savory notes of the waffle worked together in complete harmony. Nothing overpowered anything else. Every component complemented the others, making this a truly memorable interpretation of chicken and waffles. Next came the Chilled Noodles, a dish that immediately caught our attention because, unlike the noodle dishes we're accustomed to, these were served cold. It was an interesting change, but one that worked beautifully. The flavors were excellent, delivering everything you would expect from a great noodle dish, with the ginger and scallion adding a wonderful savory character. However, what really stood out to both of us were the pieces of pickled shiitake mushrooms. Their earthy, rich flavor, combined with a subtle tanginess, added an unexpected dimension to the noodles. It's amazing how one ingredient can elevate an entire dish, and in this case, the mushrooms did exactly that. What initially seemed like an unusual choice turned into another pleasant surprise. Of course, no brunch would be complete without a couple of good cocktails, so we ordered a Mimosa and a Bloody Mary. Both were very good, but the Mimosa particularly stood out. It was well prepared, refreshing, and had a generous pour of alcohol. They certainly didn't skimp on the champagne! It had just the right balance of flavor and strength, making it clear that Agnes & Sherman takes its cocktails just as seriously as its food. A great complement to an already excellent brunch. Just when we thought we had experienced all the culinary surprises of the afternoon, dessert arrived. We ordered the Pandan Nice Cream Sundae, and this was probably our most unexpected discovery. Nice cream is a plant-based alternative to traditional ice cream, and I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from a vegan frozen dessert. To our surprise, it was incredibly flavorful, wonderfully light, and refreshing. The pandan brought a delicate, distinctive flavor that made the dessert feel different from a traditional ice cream sundae. It was satisfying without feeling heavy or overly rich, making it the perfect way to finish brunch. Definitely a pleasant surprise and something we would happily order again. The restaurant was packed during brunch, so I would strongly recommend making a reservation in advance. Also, be prepared for a little challenge when it comes to parking. There was no valet service available, and finding street parking can be difficult, especially during busy hours. My advice is to arrive a little early and allow yourself extra time to find a spot. Looking back at our visit, what impressed me most was how everything came together. The extraordinary hospitality made us feel welcome from beginni

Gotta give shoutout to the decor and ambiance. It's super cozy. Probably weird to say but I loved the tiles in the hallway to restroom. So the food. Outside of the novelty the flavors are just ok. It's cool to have these Asian twists to western food but nothing really wowed me. Even tho it's popular I'd say pass on the chicken and waffles. The butter was delicious and the waffle was crispy but I'd rather have a regular scallion pancake. And the orange chicken was like any other. Think I prefer the smaller crispier pieces u get at other places. They do give u good amount of meat tho since it whole thigh. The best thing was the shrimp toast. It's like honey walnut shrimp but with toast. They have a layer of shrimp mousse and the sauce on top of toast. Unique way to serve a classic flavor. The hamburger fried rice was solid. Like a Big Mac but fried rice. My mom said it tasted like Zatarin dirty rice. Not bad but yeah I'd give it another shot to try their brunch menu which looks better and has more options. But first impression is that it's alright. Didn't hate it. Didn't love it. And it's out of my way so I doubt I'd go again.

Got them and they were soooo tiny i felt like I paid for just some oily herb & shallot droppings served in a half shell. I know the meat of the oysters can be small but it was pathetic. I ended up getting the tartare and that was the better choice compared to the oysters. Our waiter seemed like he was in a rush while taking care of us and didn't even say why oysters over wagyu. We ordered the green curry only to be told after the fact that they ran out so that was a bummer.
