Chicken Pesto Sandwich Side Caesar Salad
Katia P.

My family and I decided to eat here last minute and we were not expecting much but we are so glad we did. Each of our dishes were amazing, and the ambiance walking in was very welcoming. The server was super sweet and very attentive. The prices are great too! Highly recommend!

We haven't been to this place in 10 years and it has upgraded. It's style and food! Super super cute inside. Cozy and great weight. Staff and the Mac and cheese is delicious. And the burgers are good also.

We enjoyed our meal at Jus Mac. We got the All American Mac and it is everything you would want out of a classic Mac and Cheese. It was oddly quiet when we went but that wouldn't stop us from coming back. While you can get full meals here, this is also a great place to come if you get a random craving for a savory snack.

Double cheese burger and tots

This is mine and my husband go to spot!! Love the food it's soo delicious!!! We always go the Mac and cheese. We finally ventured off and tried new things on the menu. The burger and chicken pesto are the best!!! Francis is very helpful and friendly always welcomes us when we come in!!! She is the best and we will be coming very often!!!

Buffalo Chicken Mac Mac Balls

Absolutely loved the food. I ordered to-go and it was ready in about 10 minutes. I waited on the patio, which was lovely, and the interior was clean and charming. The counter staff were incredibly kind and helpful with the menu. Highly recommend this place.

Shirley temple (no alcohol)

The food is amazing, always comes out hot and fresh! Many different types of Mac and cheese to choose from, with amazing presentation and flavors :). The workers here are very kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu when making recommendations or if you have any questions. If you've ever drove by here and wondered if it's worth checking out, you totally should!

First time at this location but food still tastes the exact same -amazing! We tried the 1/2 lbs of Tikka, Cheeseburger, Pitmaster? And hangover. All were insanely good and rich

Truffle Mac & Tikka Mac

Tried out the truffle Mac & cheese and the tikka Mac and cheese. I enjoyed the truffle Mac and cheese with mushrooms better than the tikka. They give a side salad if dining in which I thought was a good to help balance out the richness of the Mac and cheese.

Boneless Wings: Hot Honey Butter (L), ordered Korean BBQ, got Buffalo (R). And wings are only worth it if you dine in.

I dined in with some friends on my first visit here and loved the experience. Service was great, everything was fresh, and you could tell how good the quality of the food was. The thing is though, you gotta be careful with your choices. I got the PITMASTER, and as a bbq lover, it was better than anything I expected out of this place. It was delicious, flavorful and a great combination! I was so happy with my experience! However, my friend got the RUSTIC and said it bored her lol you really have to be careful because this place is kinda hit or miss with the mac and cheese flavors. Also, I would recommend getting the 1/2lb serving, unless you're a mac and cheese fanatic. I could only eat half of the 1lb serving and had to take the rest home. A friend got the boneless wings and made me jealous I didn't get some for myself. It had a great, crunchy breading despite being covered in sauce. They were also LARGE! Bigger than any boneless wings I've seen anywhere! Definitely worth trying if you dine in. I came back to try the regular wings since the boneless were so good. Unfortunately, I got the wings to-go on my next visit and they were very disappointing. They packed them in an aluminum container, so I think they kept cooking during my 20 minute drive home. By the time I got to eat them, they were over cooked and dry. I don't even remember what they tasted like because I forced myself to finish them. I really don't know why they would use aluminum packaging for wings, but I'm convinced that's the only reason my wings were bad. I'm willing to give them another shot dining in since the fresh boneless wings were fantastic! But be warned if you get the wings to go.

The hype I heard about this place was not it. Mac & Cheese isn't good, personally. Quite frankly it was disgusting.

Our server was great (I forgot his name sorry) he was friendly, attentive, gave recommendations and even gave us coupons for our next visit. The food was DELICIOUS! Everything was fresh, hot, and well seasoned. We didn't even need to ask for the salt and pepper. We had the Greedy wings for appetizers. Which were on special for $1 per wing. We ordered the buffalo lemon pepper and the yam glazed wings. Both were delicious! My fav was the yam glazed wings. They were Hot, crispy but very moist on the inside. 10/10. I ordered the short ribs with spicy cabbage and Mac n cheese. The short ribs were tasty but had a few fatty pieces and could use a sauce to elevate, Mac n cheese was good very cheesy. The cabbage was very good! My husband had the turkey chops with greens and the spaghetti. The turkey chop was soooo good. It was so crunchy on the outside and moist inside I honestly forgot it was turkey. The server brought us a side of gravy to go with the chops that was also delicious. The greens tasted like your grandma's greens IYKYK. The spaghetti was also very good. Overall, this was a great dinner! We look forward to coming back and trying more food on the menu.

The food felt like it was trying way too hard to be something fancy or unique but it just didn't land. Instead of being delicious, it was honestly pretty gross. The atmosphere didn't help either ...... it came off as amateur and unpolished rather than inviting. Overall, this was easily one of the worst meals I've had in a while. Definitely not worth the time or money.

I loved the vibe, and it felt like a great place to just relax and enjoy. As I was leaving, I noticed a long line forming, and I realized how lucky I was to get in so quickly. The freshness of the food was epic and every bite was tasty and vibrant. The restroom was clean as well, which is always a plus. Been coming to these restaurants since their incarnation, with that original barbecue location on Kirby Drive. How many years ago? Over fifty possibly? The chips and salsa were good. Enjoyed with my drink of choice, the uber carbonated Topo Chico in the bottle. Coca-Cola didn't mess with the carbonation when they bought the company. At the Yale location, a wall with the decorative wooden plates of Michoacán. I own just one. I count 18 on one wall. But one day, when we move into assisted living, I am going to contact Levi to see if he wants to buy our extensive collection of Mexican folk art. I especially think he will love taking ownership of my collection of Huichol masks. (I hope). A person on Houston Heights Foodies recommended the enchiladas saying that they were to die for and so, today, for lunch that is what I chose to have. Evaluation? The rice was acceptable but dry as if it had been under a heat lamp or reheated, the charro beans were good, the plate was hot, and the enchiladas were classically Tex-Mex and fresh tasting. I had been worried that everything would have a creosote mesquite smokiness, but it didn't. The beans had a hint of that creosote smell and taste, but not a deal breaker. But I had a taste and left the rest. Personal preference. A lovely waitress from Monterrey. Whereas an experience at their West Gray location was not memorable, I was pleased with my lunch here, today. $28 with tip.

The restaurant is warm, inviting, charming, everything you would expect from Goode Co. We started with the queso, which was absolutely delicious. I chose the Old No 7 for my entree. I subbed out the pork Carnitas for the shredded chicken. This plate was perfect, especially for someone who had never been there before it had a little bit of everything. I appreciated that there was avocado on both my taco and my tostada. I know it's a little thing, but certainly the perfect addition. My food was absolutely delicious. My friend that joined me for lunch had the beef tacos El Carbone. Needless to say, neither of us were able to finish our plates, but we still ordered dessert because we had both never been and didn't want to miss the opportunity. We ordered the sopapillas and I ordered a tres leches to go, a personal fav of my youngest son. As you can tell from the pictures, the food had an excellent presentation. I felt everything was priced reasonably and did I mention how absolutely scrumptious everything was. We will be back again soon.

I loved how they served it in waves and not all at the same time. It felt more like a culinary experience. We had the cucumber salad which is a must. Followed by corn, which is good and totally unlike anything I've ever had before. Then the red fish which was sooooo good. Then the pork shoulder with coconut rice and together that was to die for. Food: - Chicken liver pate: 10/10 SOOOO good! The bread that comes with it is amazing too. There is some sweet jam that is paired with it also. It doesn't overpower the main pate flavor, but I could probably do without the sweetness. - Pressed leeks: 10/10 I haven't had leeks too often in my life but this was really good! The sauce that they put it on pairs so well with it and really makes the dish. Must try even if you think you don't like leeks. - Venison tartare: my husband loves tartare and mustard so he loved this dish. I despise mustard and am lukewarm on tartare. The mustard taste was so strong. I hated this dish but I'm also not a good critic for it, so no rating from me. - Pappardelle: 7/10 Simple and classic. Not worth getting on your first visit but a nice dish on its own. - Butternut squash: 8/10 I can't remember much about this dish except that I enjoyed it :) - Pork collar Milanese: 9/10 Like a much better version of a schnitzel - Dumplings: 9/10 Just read the description on the menu and you know it's gonna be good. Ricotta? Brown butter? Yup amazing! Creamy, delicate, but not just a big mush that makes me want to gag. - Lamb ribs: 9/10 Nicely smoked, all around good balanced flavor - Wagyu bavette: 10/10 So good! Tender and juicy. But at this point in the meal, I'm usually pretty stuffed and the portion size is pretty decent. I would enjoy it even more if we didn't always order so many other small plates haha - Mushrooms: 9/10 Mushroom haters, please try this! You may change your mind! It changed my friend's mind that also doesn't like mushrooms. Service: - Always a good time. Checks in but not overbearing. Ambiance is slightly upscale but still relaxed. Doesn't feel uppity. - One time, we got free dessert. We were the last party in there so they probably just wanted to get rid of it. The cookie was so good! I've also been for brunch but have since forgotten what we've ordered. I just remember enjoying it a lot more than expected. Can't wait to go back again!
