These are some hard times for local businesses, so it's nice to see this well oiled machine still pushing out their awesome food. This morning was my third time eating here. A friend took me here recently and I'm so sold on this place. The inside decor is very country and pretty small. But they can seat quite a few people in there. The menu has some really great choices. As well as daily specials. Don't forget to try their cinnamon rolls! Omg. They are epic. I haven't been there for lunch. But have eaten breakfast here and all I can think while eating is how ridiculously good the food it. I've had the chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy. This morning I went to Jess and Joe's for breakfast. It's been many years since I've been there since I moved out of town and now have just moved back. Seeing all the cars in the parking lot I thought it probably had the same food that it always had dot-dot. Very good! I was very wrong about that. The menu States they have giant omelets and this thing looked like it would have been made with two eggs not three. I also ordered it with bacon and cheese. In response to the manager's comment. I did NOT see anything clearly upon entering your establishment or I would have left on time. There is some kind of booth upon entering that is enclosed, with a lady inside who did not acknowledge she even saw us. I was seated right away. Hence there was no time to read anything. There were two other empty tables when we left and about 7 people outside waiting. I called my husband when I arrived and when I left. We were there around 1 hr and 10 mins. Even if we overstayed our welcome... there would have been a much better way to ask us to leave than tapping our table and saying that you needed the table, we have to leave. You might've explained that due to the high demand (which there was not at that time...) you do have signage at the door explaining the 60 minutes allowed, possibly with your apologies....we would've felt much better about it. If your manager was as nice as your server, it would've been a home run. read more

In town visiting family, found this gem on yelp. Chose it because of the country fried steak. Ordered both the chicken and beef combos. Breakfast served all day. The combo came with two eggs, Hash browns or potatoes, toast or biscuits and gravy. Was able to sub toast for jr. Pancake which was actually a huge serving. Everything was great huge portions. My husband order the big boy pork chops, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. His pork chops were cooked just right and juicy, he got two pork chops. I called in the order and it was ready within 25mins. Friendly customer service. I appreciated the option for hashbrown a because some brunch places only offer country fried potatoes. They have outdoor seating. I saw a note inside that they do not have WiFi. I saw another sign for door dash. Would definitely come here again. Price matches the portion sides. I was on yelp looking for good food to order for a pickup. After about an hour, I came across Jus jos and read some comments about the food, I looked at pictures and I decided to try it. It was the best choice I've ever made from ordering according to comments on yelp. DELICIOUS BISCUITS AND GRAVY!! Fluffy moist biscuits and flavorful gravy. The chicken fried steak was perfect. And crispy. I also ordered pancakes with strawberries... they exceeded my expectations. Fresh strawberries and huge pancakes... Don't believe the hype! Went this morning for the first time with a group of colleagues to have breakfast. One of my colleagues was approached as we walked in by a wait staff and was asked to put his water flask back into his car because bringing it in was against policy. This embarrassed my coworker whom has a medical condition which requires hydration. We then were seated and they were slow to take our order. The food arrived and, honestly, it was below average yet the prices are above average. We were there to celebrate a birthday when our experience turned even worse. We brought a cake for our colleague and management did not allow us to sing, cut or eat the cake. What restaurant does that?' This was not welcoming, the prices are high, service was bad and the odd restaurant policy's made this experience horrible! There are way better places to eat in Clovis that are welcoming and have good food. I will not recommend this place to anyone that wants to have a pleasant breakfast with friends or family. I'm beyond upset with today's experience at Jus Joes. My friend and I were there eating breakfast. Finished our meal and was visiting when, whom I assume was a mgr, came out (female, maybe Angie) and ask us to finish up and leave. Mind you we had only just finished our meal. And if that wasn't bad enough 5 mins later the hostess came by and ask again. Now get this! They blamed it on Covid! And that they were just trying to survive and keep the business going and that they had people waiting for tables. So wait? You are trying to survive from Covid keeping your business going but you have "tons" of people waiting to be seated? Sounds like Hmmmm? BS to me! So let me tell you this. I am leaving this disgusting state next week and I was there seeing a friend that I may never see again. We were visiting and saying our goodbyes and I picked Jus Joes as my favorite place to say goodbye at. And this happens. Shame on you all and I will be spreading the word of what happened to all my friends before I go!!! Covid or not. What really matters to you? your customers or the almighty dollar? This is not the way the owner would like her customers treated because I have spent many a time talking with her there. And let me make a final note. This is a really good, old-school, Jane Normas breakfast kind of place. Really good omelettes, scrambles, and skillets, and the pumpkin pancakes got major thumbs up as well. We enjoy the small-town homey feel of Jus' Jo's. It is one of few like this in the area anymore. The service is impeccable and fast. I especially like that they keep the coffee coming, without having to ask. It's kinda like the artisan well for coffee drinkers. Wow what a great find! Had the chicken fried steak (gravy on the side) with pancakes. The steak waa perfectly fried, no heavy greasy taste. The gravy was a nice thick sauce no overly salty. The pancakes are a MUST! They don't look like much but are awesome. Nice fluffy and buttery. Only reason for 4stars is that I had to ask for coffee refills and the refills were watered down coffee. Try their chicken fried chicken with some crispy hash browns and a side of their homemade biscuits and gravy. Maybe not filling enough? How about a side of sourdough toast. I haven't had the ability to get to that extent of my meal, but the bread is to die for! My husband and I have purchased a few loaves of the sourdough to make with our sandwiches... Absolutely divine. We found this place while driving down Shaw to find a place to eat one early morning. Since our departure from the Fresno-Clovis area, we resolved to this place being the ONLY reason why we would come back. Angie runs a tight ship and it shines through the DELICIOUS food and FANTASTIC service. She would stop by each table and see how each customer is doing. Her nephews come by sometimes and are helping out, too. Her mother runs the registers and is such a sweet woman with an infectious smile. Sometimes, you'd see her out on the floor helping out because they are always busy. Pedro usually seats us and is on top of it all. All of the waitstaff is awesome, but our ultimate favorite is Chrissy (they don't wear name tags, so sorry for the misspelling!). I don't know what transpired that prompted the one star reviews a few days back, but I can say that I've been here MANY times (sometimes 2-3 times in a week) AND the service and food has ALWAYS been consistently exquisite.
