FOOD IS GOOD....but inconsistent. DO NOT ORDER FROM UBER EATS, they will not make your order right. Must call ahead and go in person. Also staff is rude af. read more

Food may be great but service is disgusting. Maybe my boyfriend and I caught them on an off day...but the woman who took our order was extremely dismissive and flat out rude. We tried ordering fish and chips as well as a salmon burger. I was told that they did not have anymore salmon burgers. Ok, how about the shrimp burger? Ran out of that too, huh? Ok, what about the shark burger? She said she'll have to check. She didn't acknowledge us again until the fish and chips came out (maybe 15 - 20mins later). After realizing that she only had the fish and chips, my bf asked about the shark..and she said they were out of shark. Well thanks for telling us after 20mins of waiting. It would have been greatly appreciated if that was communicated earlier this way we could've ordered something else. But unfortunately we don't have another 20mins to spend waiting on another order. Ohhhh and don't even ask for any punch...because apparently she doesn't have the time to make it. That's the 2nd time that happened. We are all about good food but service is just as important to us. And for that reason, I for one, will not be back. The experience definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Do not order delivery/seamless from here. My coworkers and I put in a lunch order for delivery. As time went on, we called about 5x to check on our order and more than once, we were told, "The food left 5 minutes ago." 2 1/2 hours after we made the order, we were told the delivery person's whereabouts were unknown so we cancelled the order. I hadn't been that hangry in a long time. Never again. read more

Food was great. .. ordered online and it took about 30-40 minutes which is pretty good. Ordered the steam shrimp with pumpkin and sweet potato. Definitely try this place out.. read more

Jus Fishy just opened over the weekend in PLG and we went in to check it out. We ordered the crab burger and the jumbo shrimp and chips - both were delicious! We are looking forward to going back and trying more - definitely recommend the garlic sauce on fries and the tamarind sauce on the crab burger! read more

Was my absolute fav local fish place . I have recommended it to so many . Just ordered and was VERY disappointed . Prices went up and food lacked luster & flavor . Please go back to that homemade flavorful cuisine . Get it together !! read more

This place is right down the block from me. I ordered takeout, intending to get a shark burger. When I called to order I was told no burgers - ok. I order the baked shark instead with two sides. When I told the lady I was done with my order she said ok and hung up. Didn't give me a time estimate, ask for my name or number, nothing. Luckily i had read previous yelp reviews and knew to go in about twenty minutes to pick it up. It was ready when I got there, and the lady at the counter was friendly enough, lettin me know the reason they didn't have burgers is because they hadn't gotten any bread shipments since Thursday. The shark was cooked beautifully. It was flaky and buttery and delicious. The garlic sauce, as other reviewers have noted, is like a drug. I wish I had a whole tub of it rather than the little side cup they gave me. The sides were also really yummy, buttery and flavored with herbs. The portion was huge, and justifies the $10 price tag. I could see someone with a less hearty appetite making it into two meals. Will definitely be back to try the other fish! Definitely seems like a healthy alternative. read more

Jus Fishy - Baked shark with yams and cabbage - Fish & Chips Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I would give the food 3 1/2 stars but one staff member was very rude and unwelcoming. Had a horrible attitude. The food had a lot of flavor and taste really good. I had the grilled salmon w/ carrots and broccoli read more

The food here is beyond delicious. YOU MUST CALL IN YOUR ORDER. I repeat - MUST!!!! They are always slammed busy, for a reason, & they definitely have a ton of kinks to work out due to the volume of their business. Just call ahead at least 30 min before you plan on picking up your food to avoid the wait. Everything is incredible, but I get the grilled shark with steamed sweet potatoes & steamed cauliflower by default. Also, I don't know what's in that garlic white crack sauce but oh my goodness... ASK FOR EXTRA. read more

Tried this place out for the first time and it was so good. The garlic sauce that was provided was amazinggggg! It was a little bit of a wait but well worth it. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Another Flatbush gem! Fresh, delicious fish at competitive prices and great customer service. I like to patronize establishments that A- make me feel welcome; B- make me feel like I actually want to spend my dollars here and C- deliver on their product. Jus Fishy fits the bill every time. I've only had the salmon dinner with sweet potatoes and corn and will definitely try to branch out more, but this meal is amazing. Seriously. The peanut punch is also supreme. Make note that the portions are not hearty here at all, but this is totally fine for me. It is just right. Stop by! You won't regret it. read more

They have such amazing salmon and shark!! The good always taste fresh and that pepper sauce.....epic. My go to spot when I come into town. The cabbage and sweet potatoes are a must read more

My stars is for the food. The food is delicious. However the delivery service sucks and the lady who answers the phone is unwelcoming. I am literally 5 blocks from there and she says the person who delivers on my side is not there. They need to step their delivery game and up, and the lady who answers the phone needs to be friendlier. read more

New go-to healthy seafood spot! I got the red snapper with pumpkin and okra. It was delectable! Comes with pepper sauce and the best sweet tartar sauce I've ever had. I ordered on Uber eats and it arrived on time! read more

Their delivery took 1hour and 25 minutes to show up. That's beyond reasonable. And they brought the wrong stuff. Ridiculous. Never again.

I absolutely never leave food reviews on yelp or any other site for that matter. With that said and considering the fact that I've been eating the grilled salmon, steamed broccoli and sweet potato for the past 3 days straight like a man possessed, I thought it was only right that I let the world know how AMAZING the food here is. It's also important to note that I live in Forest Hills, Queens and drive all the way to Brooklyn for this stuff. The salmon is enough for two people and is mouth watering. Don't even get me started on the shark burger!!! Add the garlic sauce to the shark burger (I take out the pineapple) and it will blow your mind. THE FOOD HERE IS WORTH THE WAIT. -DL read more

The food was really good - got the grilled kingfish and loved it. The service is pretty terrible. We called our order in and was told it should take 25 minutes and it ended up taking closer to 45. read more

This has to be the worst place to get seafood from in Brooklyn. My pregnant wife had one of her urges and decided stop here. We ordered grilled salmon and grilled shrimp. Both with the two sides (corn, okra, Rasta pasta, cabbage). First, the wait was about 45mins. Ok no problem, I can wait for good and freshly made food. This was not the case. I seen one of the servers with a container scooping the remains of what looked like a pan of Rasta pasta. Then went in the back I guess to get the rest of the food to pack. Anyway skip to 40mins later... we try the food. My wife automatically disgusted on the second bite. They were skimpy on the shrimp, and corn was almost raw and nothing had flavor. I threw it all up in less than a half hour. Words to the wise, save yourself an unplanned trip to the bathroom and save some money! read more

I love this place. It was my first time having it and it's just great. I got the grilled tilapia with two sides and it was great. The food was seasoned very well. But of all things that were great I'm in love with their garlic sauce. I'm not sure how they make it but it's great !! Great place in the neighborhood to get a nice meal. read more

Each time I've eaten from Jus Fishy, I've danced a little. Food is so good. Freshly made and it shows. GARLIC SAUCE IS SLAMMING! Definitely go and show your support of this local business! read more

Food: tasty and sizeable portions of grilled fish with 2 sides. Delivery: estimated time was 45-60 minutes, took 2 hours and 5 minuted. I called them about an hour and a half in and it sounded like at the time they hadn't even started my order. About an hour 45 in, I called again and they said the delivery person was "leaving." I live 6 minutes away (don't judge me, I had things to do) and it took another 20 minutes for them to deliver. Verdict: good, but not good enough to merit the wait. read more

I wish I could eat here everyday. They are right underneath me and it is so tempting. I've tried the grilled salmon with steamed vegetables and the fried shark with bake and lawd let me tell you! So good! Sooooo good! I also had the coco bake! Man look stop playing games with your life and eat here! If you love yourself you will eat here! And the ppl are nice. One of my favorite places in NYC to eat! read more

The customer service is very Poor, the girls in there barely talk and they look at you as if your begging them food. Not to mention you have to wait damn near an hour for your order. You might as well walk a block over buy your veggies and cook yourself.. Nice location but it's ridiculous. read more

This new spot is definitely a must try! I am a Trinidadian pescatarian and went to Jus Fishy for the first time and ordered the shrimp burger with a side of sweet potato fries and the fish broth. YUM!!! The fish broth is like my mom's! Well seasoned, with a kicked and definitely gives me the warm calypso happy dance in my tummy. The shrimp burger, you can actually see the shrimp and the toppings that's included, i.e. pineapples and secret sauce is such a delightful touch to my taste buds. However, when you enter, you may have to call out to them in the back but that's not such a bad thing. I am definitely going back really soon and you should check it out too! read more

I have never written a review faster (I'm not even done with my food). I order the grilled shrimp with pumpkin and Rasta pasta and OMG! The minute I lifted the lid I knew it was going to be amazing. First things, ordering was simple and delivery was quick and kind. The food got to me hot and flavorful and the pumpkin and shrimp cooked perfectly! I will definitely order again. read more

I've lived int he neighborhood for five years, and this is far and above the best food I've had in Lefferts. It always impresses people who come to visit. I feel lucky that I have it around the corner. My favorites are the salmon burger and sweet potato fries. I appreciate the wait for the salmon burger, because I appreciate that it's not fast food even though it's a take out joint. They pay attention to quality, and it really shows. read more

The food is absolutely amazing, I usually get steamed jumbo shrimp with sweet potato fries and corn, I also get fried shrimp. The staff is friendly as well! My go to spot.. its well worth the money read more

Jus Fishy is such a healthy and delicious option in the neighborhood of Prospect Lefferts Garden! I live in the neighborhood, and I'm so happy I decided to try this place. It's a fantastic alternative to Wholesome, Popeyes, McDonalds, etc. I've only ever tried the salmon. The salmon is huge (see the pic). Also, with each protein, you can pick a side. I've tried the cauliflower and sweet potatoes, and they were both so well made. They were steamed and yet they had so much flavor. My boyfriend has had the French fries, and he's described them as "award winning." The price is very reasonable for such a healthy and delicious meal. My huge salmon with a side is about $11, and while that can seem like a lot for PLG, it's well worth it on a night when you want to treat yourself after eating way too much Popeyes (I've been there!). The white sauce is to die for!! Make sure to dip your side in it. I love Jus Fishy! It's such a gem in my neighborhood. read more

Jus Fishy - Salmon is so huge!! - Fish & Chips Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Really great red snapper, one steamed and one grill. Very flavorful, well seasoned. Both were amazing!!

Love their grilled salmon with cabbage amd sweet potato.....it was delicious... And dont forget to smother it with the white sauce....soooooo good....now, the wait time can be a bit overwhelming but its worth the wait and it is made fresh to order....Great edition to the neighborhood.... read more

I'm done with this place. 20 minutes in a super hot establishment for a small beverage. Not even the audacity to comp me a large at least for that hellious wait. Never fails whether call in or walk in same results smh read more

It's pretty good food portions is cool. Customer service and delivery service probably moderate. I'll support again and again just for the food read more

This is necessary. The review, isn't 100% reflective of the quality of food offered, which IF ONLY focused on, is 4 or 5 stars. In fact, the staff -- most of them, are kind, funny n' very helpful. Same high rating. Except for one idiot, unfortunately I've experienced in the worst way on my last visit, just for a simple specialty drink (peanut punch). He should NEVER interface w/customers out front. Please just leave his ass in the back/kitchen area. He's RUDE, unnecessarily disrespectful, not to mention, VERY confrontational. Like a wanna be diva, this creature acted like he was on the rag! He needs to differentiate between customers paying for a service in an establishment, versus people on the street corner! In all my life, I'm def one of their loyal customers, even referring incoming artists + friends (local & visiting) who are "pescatarians" here. Hopefully I'll never have to see his face in there again. Ownership, don't let 1 bad apple spoil it for the rest, who know how to act n' treat people!! read more

Fresh fish, good price. It's nice to have a healthy option in a neighborhood where doubles and beef patties are the go to.

Love this little place. Grilled King Fish Pumpking and Broc is my go to! Peanut Punch is great as well!

Omg!!! This food is so amazing! I got the grilled salmon and orcho! Yes yes!!! The food is fresh and so good!

Takes a while to cook but definitely worth the wait! Friendly staff, good music, great food!

Some of the best food in Flatbush. They just take forever to make the food, even if you call it in... you will be waiting forever and a day when you get there to pick it up. Also, you would think it couldn't get any worse, but then you call for delivery and they never have a delivery person! Even with all that said, the food is delicious, I would order from there more often if they were more organized with wait time and delivery. read more
