I recommend this spot to all my seafood lovers! The place is small but the food packs big flavor! They had "Shark Wings" on the menu and I had to give It a try and whewww It did not disappoint! It came w/ this type of Sweet & Spicy sauce that's as really good and I had Callaloo and Macaroni Pie as my sides. The Callaloo was sooo soo good, however the macaroni was a little dry for my liking - It could have used a little bit more cheese. But none the less, I will definitely be back!

I've had this place on the radar for about a month. As I'm eating better and doing long extended walks; I decided after my walk to Flatbush, I would finally visit. I arrived a little after 12PM. I was standing around for about five minutes or so, I didn't see anyone; finally a woman comes out, but she doesn't even acknowledge me and goes back in. A few minutes later, a postal worker came, she shouted out mail and the woman returns, only then does she finally ask me what I want. (-1) I step outside to wait for the food to be made, I see the same lady back out laughing with another customer. I have my headphones on outside, so I hear some very loud yelling (unbeknownst to me, she was trying to let me know my food was ready)--I just didn't find the service to be up to par, as a whole, but now onto the food. I order Salmon (order comes with two sides--I went with Broccoli and Macaroni and cheese). The salmon was excellent, it was very well seasoned too. Macaroni was great too, the broccoli could have been a little softer. However, I'd rate the food 9 out of 10. If you want great food with a side of attitude/being a bit, this is definitely your place. I'd probably return and hope that the service was a little better and that would surely make me a repeat customer!

Just fishy is in the heart of crown heights tucked away on Flatbush ave... If your not paying attention you just might kiss this gem! So my Dad actually put me on to the spot and I Have ordered from them about 4 times already!! I even got my significant other to order from there as well. Disclaimer: KING FISH SELLS OUT THE QUICKEST. OKAY, so it's pretty small inside but they do have seating and a TV so your not just aimlessly waiting. The customer service is exceptional and the food is GREAT. Very flavorful and tasty to the mouth and body. I have wanted to try there grilled king fish but as I mentioned it sells out fast. I have yet to try it. Which is a bit dissapointing. BUTTT JUST FISHY IS BECOMING A STAPLE FOOD SPOT TO ORDER FROM. I order the grilled salmon w/ lo mein and sweet plantains. Pro's: flavorful salmon and lo' mein is jusr so bomb little spice fresh and taste so rich. (In my opinion ) Con's : sweet plantains aren't always as sweet as anticipated which I hope they get better with. They still tatse ok but it takes away from the food and being that you order sweet plantains and you get ones that are semi ripe or not ripe at all diminishes the experience and make you not want it anymore. Plating is very neat and portions are well worth the mount paid. Besides the one con just fishy is a go too. GO CHECK OUT GREAT CARRIBEAN FOOD. TELL THEM TOSH SEN

I ordered grilled shrimp, mac and cheese and veggies. The shrimp were the frozen medium farm raised kind. Yes, I can taste the difference. I lived in Seaport so what do you expect? The mac and cheese and veggies were bland bland and bland. I was surprised because the other location's food is on point. I was hungry so I drowned the food with pepper sauce and ate a little bit. This food was disappointing and I probably won't be back.. I'll go back to the other location up the street.

There should be higher ratings! Omg the food is so flavorful and healthy. I added garlic sauce and omg so good! Have to go and support this local Brooklyn business. Amazing restaurant gem in Brooklyn!

    Rasta pasta

I ordered through door dash. There was no Rasta in the pasta. It taste like dry butter pasta with vegetables. And it was $9 for this rass.. Never again !!!!!!!! The shrimp and fries were okay.

    grilled salmon, rice and broccoli

It's rare when indulgence and nutritious meet in one dish but the grilled salmon over veggie rice with broccoli here accomplishes this rare feat. The salmon is moist, flavorful, and filling while the rice and broccoli is satisfying but not greasy or excessive. This is a solid takeout option I'll will certainly keep in my meal solution arsenal.

Maybe it was a bad idea to go to a place with one table for a dine-in meal. Beyond the single table and the small space, it seemed like delivery orders for UberEats and the like were prioritized. But once the fish arrived I put aside my skepticism. I got the steamed snapper, which masterfully dished out some citrus-type flavors that made their own statements without overshadowing the fish. The platters come with two sides, and it was a nice surprise that something as substantial as rasta pasta was on the list. I also got cabbage.

That Bun just brings it altogether.

If you love you a good ole fish sandwich, Please stop at this place!! We ordered two salmon burgers, a side of veggies and side of Rasta pasta. We also got Sea Moss. The Salmon Burger was AMAZING!! The sauce, the bun, the way it was cooked. They even had a slice of pineapple on it and it just brightened the sandwich. There is a bit of wait when it's busy, so call ahead. It's worth the wait!! Can't wait to come back and try other dishes.

Ordered from Jus Fishy on UberEats and was blown away with how good my food was! You can tell that everything is fresh and prepared to order. I ordered the grilled salmon with a side of broccoli and rasta pasta. Everything was so good! My food even stayed warm during the delivery. The peppa sauce is real good too! Make sure you add some to your dish to kick it up a notch. The only downside to this place is that the wait time is always long, so be prepared to wait! The food is so worth it though.

    Unprofessional delivery during CoVid19
    Q C.

This is how my food was delivered to me! With the CoVid19. My food should have been wrapped like it was going to Jamaica! Idk if the driver put his hand in on it or not. This is nasty! I'm pretty much paying to get sick from lazy ass workers at Jus fish! When I called the restaurant answered the phone with the TV blearing in the back ground. I guess JusFish working from home too! Package your food correctly! Put a sealing sticker on it. #JusFishyIsJusNasty DO NOT EAT HERE!

Called ahead to place my order for pickup. The food is good here but the spot is small so it's a to go vibe. Woman who answered had charisma....yay! Busy busy area, double parked, got my food, warmly greeted, great food at an affordable price! I'm happy :) Kids got fried shrimp and whiting with fries...the whiting breading mix is bombbbbbbbbb, omg! I got the grilled salmon with cabbage and broccoli. Was expecting more vegetables but I guess since it's a side is why it's small, it was delish. Salmon was also good. I would recommend. For sure!

Scent I cannot resist was in the air. Reminds me of the ocean. I drew closer and breathed deep. My eyes marveled at her golden skin. Flecks of gold glinted in the harsh fluorescent light. My tongue caressed her bare skin and I was lost. Exotic flavors filled overwhelmed my taste buds. Whiting, corn meal, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper... Tender and juicy. Among the best fried whiting I've had. Big fat french fries were a bit over fried as some of the pieces were too crunchy. Flavor was pretty good. I visited in the evening and they were out of salmon. Seating inside was very limited and the locals were getting their orders to go. I'd visit again if I was in the area and wanted some southern style fried fish.

From what I was told the items in this review are currently only served at their pop ups, but check out the menu at the actual restaurant. I am certain that the food there is phenomenal. I will say that the man, who was working with them is the nicest guy in the world. Now on to the food. This hot lobster roll with butter and Thai seafood sauce was on point! I am not a fan of mayo but I am sure that the garlic mayo takes this lobster roll to another level. Normally I only like my lobster roll with melted butter but the Thai seafood sauce gave it this citrusy , slightly tangy flavor that went well with the lobster. And the lobster roll itself is just beautiful. (I tend to eat with my eyes. Lol) I was truly craving a lobster roll and I am so glad that you all were there. I have never had fried basa, but it was prepared to perfection. I really loved the batter, and the fish was not over seasoned. This southern kid was deeply disappointed by "the best soul food in Brooklyn." And while the reviews below mine state some of the same accuracy, I went against my better judgement. Let's get into it... they offer a buy one get one deal in Uber and the staff will suggest it to you, which is honestly a good deal. I did not get names but the younger fair skin lady with glasses was the most helpful and another older lady who was probably an owner/partner/manager. There was another younger woman around with braids and glasses that needed a little more customer service training. Her name may be Sharisse or something like that. Food wise.... I had the oxtail cheesesteak. Like other reviews, the fat needs to be trimmed more but they are quite tender. However, I doubt I try it again. For the sides, I was able to taste the Mac and cheese, candied yams, black eyed peas, and greens. That's the order in which the taste is decent. The Mac isn't quite a creamy Mac, it's definitely baked which is cool. The yams were good, just heavily sugared. The black eyed peas were okay but they were lukewarm. And the greens were a miss, I prefer a bit more heat/spice on mine and these had bitter and sweet mixed together. Lastly, I tried the banana pudding and the kool aid. Kool aid was like church punch if that's your thing and the banana pudding was thick. I'm a dessert guy and I maybe only ate a third of it. Overall, it's clean and chill. But it's definitely take out as there is no seating available.
