Went here a few weeks ago on a whim and didn't know what I was walking in to. I loved that it was a covered outside thing and wish it was warmer so I could have enjoyed it more. I had the fish tacos and they were amazing. And I probably ordered a few too many margs and have to say on point. I am looking forward to try making a visit there in the warmer months. read more

I was super excited to go try this place near me but honestly winter isn't the time to go they advertise a heated tent which honestly was freezing had to wear gloves while eating super uncomfortable. We felt zero heat blowing anywhere. Maybe it's a nice spot for a drink in the spring/ summer but honestly the food was just ok. I'm a die hard Mexican food fan but everything tasted americanized we tried chicken tacos and asada(beef) tacos which had no real flavor. The sauce provided tasted like a tomato sauce instead of a cilantro lime or spice factor which they usually go together. The chicken had zero flavor if they get a better chef more qualified for Mexican flavors and really enhance the flavor of Mexican food it would be a great place I would take all my friends to but I've definitely got more authentic tacos elsewhere in Philly. Was wishing for a better experience since this place is near me and cute but that's my truth the food was better looking than it tasted. read more

Juno - Asada tacos - Mexican Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

LOVE Juno. Great vibe, friendly staff, delicious food and Amanda makes the BEST spicy marg. Must try if in Philly!

Came here on a Saturday in July the week they opened and made reservations via Resy for an 8 PM seating for two people. I'll admit I was, and still am, a bit skeptical with outdoor dining. But Juno put my worries at ease. All staff wore masks the entire time, tables were sanitized in between use, and patrons wore masks when standing/walking through the establishment. Now, on to the good stuff. I remember this place back when it was Llama Tooth, but Juno utilized this space WAY better! It's gorgeous: a huge deck with socially distanced tables, tons of lush foliage, strung patio lights, live DJ music (later at night), and an open-air bar and server station. It felt like we were at some reggae beachfront grill instead of in the middle of Spring Garden Ave. Our server was awesome and friendly and the food and drinks came out FAST (probably because of its limited capacity). I think we ended up getting three or four frozen margaritas each, so we probably should've just gotten the pitcher, but both the classic and blood orange varieties were fantastic (blood orange was the best, however). For food, we started with the chips and tres salsas (wonderful, warm, crispy, salty fresh chips and tasty salsas to match) and the esquites (deconstructed elotes, essentially, that were AMAZING - but needed chips for dipping), and tons of tacos so we can try them all: shrimp, al pastor, carnitas, and asada. All were great and full of flavor and toppings so we were really full, but those carnitas tacos took the cake: so juicy and seasoned perfectly. (Also, I would opt out of the cheese on the shrimp one as it's VERY strong and didn't quite mesh well with the seafood, IMHO). It's pricy (I would equate it to Mission Taqueria), but well worth it, especially for the outdoor ambiance we're all desperately craving right now. Will definitely return! read more

3.5 Atmosphere is awesome. Staff is friendly and attentive. My drink was weak and no hint of basil in my basil margarita. Guacamole was so bland, had no flavor and had weird texture. Chips were almost burnt. The tacos that were ordered were good. I wouldn't only come here again for the beautiful outside space. read more

My boyfriend and I are spending the weekend in Philly. With the bad weather, we went to DoorDash Juno. Unfortunately, issues with DoorDash, the food was just sitting in the restaurant waiting to be picked up for an hour. We called Juno to see what was going on. He explained issue with DoorDash canceling drivers. We currently don't have access to a car and it's too far to walk. The employee at Juno is now driving the food over to us personally. AMAZING. I've had the food here before and it's outstanding. Also, highly recommend the margs read more

I've been here a few times, and the food is delicious! HOWEVER. The service is always bad. I just recently went for bottomless brunch, and I sat there for about 25 mins before anyone even came to give me water. They did apologize when they got to me. Everyone is friendly, it is just severely understaffed. They never seem to have enough people for the amount of people eating there. It got to the point where the hostess started helping out due to the lack of people on the floor. It's a shame, because the food is actually great! read more

Great environment and great customer service! Nick and Bernardo are the best! The Frozé hits the spot and the food is delicious! Will definitely come again the next time I am in Philly! read more

Juno - Frozé - Mexican Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This place was pretty good! It was reasonably priced for Philly and super delicious. I highly recommend the Asada Tacos. My friend enjoyed the Al Pastor Tacos, a blood orange margarita, and a frosé, although he thought the drinks were a bit on the expensive side for the amount you get. I don't think they have any indoor seating right now, but their patio is SO CUTE, almost completely shaded, and safely spaced out. I'll definitely be back there when I'm in the neighborhood or craving some quick Mexican food because they got our food out in less than ten minutes after our order was taken. The staff there are also very friendly, helpful, and polite. read more

Came here the first weekend they opened. Pro's are the parking is easy and free, friendly service, and instagram worthy atmosphere. The food itself left a bit more to be desired. The best thing I had was the corn. It was seasoned to perfection! The Nachos are plentiful and also really good. The shrimp cocktail was nothing special but it wasn't bad either. My fav drink was the frosè and it looks tiny but it packs a lot of power. 7/10 would def recommend. And bonus points for following social distancing guidelines!! read more

Juno is one of the best things going in the Rona. Good Riddance to Llama tooth which was here before and never, not once, used this gorgeous outdoor space for anything worthwhile. Having seating off the street means that Juno goes well last 10pm so it's as "late night" as can be in these times. The food is decent--nothing lept off as a "must have" for the future, but the drinks are the star of the show. Cocktails are great. Frozen drinks are good as hell, too, but sign me up for the BeerBarrow. A wheelbarrow filled with Tecates and infused tequila?! Why wasn't this a thing earlier? The only thing Juno can improve on would be the ambiance. The string lights and neon just beg for some amplified, modern music. The typical playlist had me worried the Ghostbusters theme was going to play on the set list it was so dated. The DJ that was there one day was playing the perfect jams for a middle School birthday party in 2007. Juno has the vibe but seems to be scared to embrace it. Give the people what they want and let's jam! The difference between 4 stars and 5 is all in the tunes read more

I've been here many times before but this time I decided to try different margaritas and they were amazing! i got a spicy margarita and a pineapple margarita! the pineapple one was my favorite with a sugar rim!! i also got the al pastor tacos and the esquites which was amazing as an appetizer if you like corn! read more

Had a reservation at Juno last night and we got there early, so we sat at the bar for some drinks/food. I checked in with the hostess at our reservation time and we were seated... it took 35 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge our table (and that was because I literally had to flag someone down) and then another 15 minutes after that for someone to come over and tell us she was "taking over" for us. (Who are you taking over from, there was no one?) It wasn't her fault, she was a great waitress, but we were so frustrated after waiting for so long (and missing out on more time during the happy hour). We ordered guacamole and our entrees all at once because we were worried that it'd take a long time again for someone to come back. The guacamole didn't come out, our entrees did. We asked about the guacamole, she apologized, it came out, but we were like halfway through our entrees at that point. The food was decent, the drinks were fine, but the experience itself probably won't have us coming back anytime soon. read more

I've been here a few times. Although they were out of the good tequila AGAIN, The shots are a healthy size. The guacamole is unforgettable too! read more

This place was amazing. Great food and scenery. Two of the most important things I think every restaurant should take part in.

I left a two star rating because the service was good. However after spending $700 with a group of 9 my biggest concern was the drinks. We ordered several shots and drinks and they were extremely watered down. Watered to the point that we should've ordered juice or water. The food was ok but the drinks were an absolute 0. I would not return due to this read more

Great atmosphere and good food! Such a fun and colorful vibe. Beware when your bill arrives. They add a mandatory 20% gratuity and then on top of that suggest an additional 20%. The way it's laid out on the receipt for you to sign instinctively makes you add the additional 20% gratuity to your total which already includes a 20% gratuity. My friend and I had signed our receivers and then realized our added up amounts were much higher than on the original receipt. They almost got away with a 40% gratuity, so very carefully look at your check before you sign. read more

sean was a great waitor with amazing service. if you come to Juno ask for sean. I've never had service this great.

This place is a gem during COVID. It's practically all outdoors and has perfected the "fairy-lights-in-the-summer-beer-garden" vibe. We went for a classmates birthday and had an amazing time. The margaritas were on point, the nachos were incredible, and the burrito was filling. Philly has a few standouts when it comes to Mexican food and this is definitely one of them. I hope they are able to adapt for the winter to keep the fiesta going for longer. Would definitely come back when I'm in the area. read more

We were a threesome and seated at a table against the wall, it was very tight and uncomfortable. I found the food below average. We had chicken tinga tacos that were flavorless. The side of rice and beans was equally dull. The appetizer of ceviche was chopped up in large lobs of protein and spicy, but uninteresting. I found the service odd, the gratuity is added on and they didn't really seem to care about providing much service. Maybe it is more of a neighborhood place? High prices, dull food and poor service - I can't recommend the place. On an up note there is a nice colorful mural on the patio. read more

Great service and love the brunch menu! Sean was awesome and super helpful. Definitely will be returning!!

We went here for my sister birthday. The food was great . The drinks and ambience was wonderful

Love their outdoor patio and bar. They make great cocktails. I got their draft cocktail called "deep purple" and it was very refreshing. I also recommend their burrito with tofu and nachos. Would definitely go back again read more

If I was only rating the ambiance of this place, I'd give it a 5. It was a very cool outdoor spot! However, it was advertised that the outdoor eating area was heated, and it was not. Or it was and the heat was just so minimal it did absolutely nothing. Had to eat with my gloves on! I mean I guess that's what I should expect when eating out in the middle of winter, but don't advertise heated outdoor seating when there's no heat. Food was pretty good. Nachos were amazing, and tacos were good. They weren't the best tacos ever, but they did the job and left me satisfied. Also, the classic margaritas were great. We went during happy hour by mistake, and they were only $5 each (compared to their usual $10). I have seen a lot of people on here complain there was hardly any alcohol in it, but let me tell ya, those two margaritas definitely did something to me. Overall it was a neat place. I can't wait for summer to be able to go and actually enjoy the place without gloves and a coat on! read more

This new Mexican restaurant is right in the heart of Spring Garden. For starters their decor is amazing! You are not on top of people and it feels like you are not in Philadelphia. The key thing to realize about Juno is you have to make a reservation which can be hard to do, but trust me it will be worth it. For starters their service was amazing! The staff was very attentive to your needs. Their drinks are amazing as well! I recommend the froze, summatime, and the elderflower jawn. They were light and refreshing which is perfect for summer! For apps we order their nachos and they were great! Great toppings and the chips were nice and crunchy. When it came time for the main entree, my group and I all ordered something different. I order their al pastor tacos which were amazing! The rest of my group ordered asada tacos, pollo tinga tacos, and the torta del pastor. Everyone raved about their food! Overall, it was a great experience! I do recommend ordering apps because you only get 3 tacos per order which are a little small but have so much flavor. Keep in mind that you do have a time limit when eating at this restaurant. We did not feel rushed at all, and I cannot wait to go back. Also they have many gluten free options as well! read more

The food was meh, limited options if you are vegan and didn't have an authentic taste. Staff was pleasant and once you get off spring garden it's some what of a refreshing atmosphere. If you don't have dietary restrictions you may enjoy this place at lot more than I did. read more

Juno has a very cute outdoor set-up. It's like a little oasis in the middle of Spring Garden. I've passed the spot hundreds of times on my commute and didn't realize it was there. We got there right after a rain storm but the staff was quick to dry off the seats and table. Margaritas were good. Our group shared a number of tacos - all were tasty. We got the platanos fritos. We ordered two because usually desserts are small but not this. One order could have been shared by all 4 in our party. read more

Very poor service. We were denied service after showing majority age ID and asked them to scan. Having Jewish names we are highly disappointed by the very apparent antisemitism. Very sad, expected better from an up and coming Philly restaurant. read more

I'm so happy this place was open, and as they accept reservations, I was even happier to get a spot for happy hour. Ordered the frozen blueberry margarita and it was absolutely amazing, delicious but disappointing bcuz I was expecting some big margarita glass and especially being cooped up inside for all this time def wanted to have a massive drink lol. But regardless the food made up for it, what appeared to be a small portioned surprisingly was so filling and delicious. Atmosphere: aesthetically pleasing, nice large outdoor seating especially with how things are nowadays, great for small parties. Food: tiny tacos but filled with so much love, ordered the al pastor and chicken tacos, both were absolutely amazing but the al pastor def won the prize especially with the side of sauce brought along with it. As for appetizers, we got the scallop ceviche- tasted buttery and deliciously fresh and a side of salsa and chips, I've gotta say.... if u don't deep fry ur chips to be puffed up and crispy like they do here... then it's not worth it. The salsa was also soooo good! Def recommend coming here but make reservations early!! read more

We chose to dine here after a horrendous day traveling and dealing with hotel confusion. We had a bit of a late dinner but the atmosphere, food, and drink were the perfect cure after a long day. read more

Juno was a spacious outdoor space decorated with plants and bright colors. The DJ spinning for our Saturday brunch was fantastic with a great mix of funk and soul music; definitely a plus. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros; the beans could have used a little more draining and some type of sour cream or crema would have elevated the meal. Frose was ordered, of course, and only two of them got me nice and toasty. Husband ordered the Torta De Pastor which left more to be desired (very one note) but the fries were delicious. Service was quick and efficient all while keeping great social distancing standards. This place is definitely a good summer hangout. Get a resy beforehand and you'll have no trouble getting a seat! read more

Juno is all about paying for the atmosphere. The place is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of something you'd go to in LA. The vibe is cool. We went when there was a DJ and the music definitely upped the experience. Aside from that, the food and drinks were horrible. Drinks were overly sweet. I got the smoky mezcal drink knowing that it wouldn't be too sweet and indeed it was. The food was not good. Shrimp tacos were eh. Corn looked and tasted like corn chowder. The guacamole was the saving grace. read more

The margaritas were tasty, but small. The food was ok, but kind of overpriced for tacos and the size of the appetizers. The music at the outdoor seating wasn't Latin at all. Overall, it's a nice ambience, but not the greatest Mexican food in Philly. read more

Their margaritas and empanadas are my favorite. The tacos and and enchiladas are ok. Slow service sometimes.

This place is so stinking cute inside with the trees and plants all around. The spicy margarita and some drink with a flower were smooth and strong, just what I like. The tacos look small, but have a decent amount of meat. The nachos were served hot and you have to purchase the 3 types of sauces for dipping. 4 stars because I felt like they were rushing us. A party of two has a 90 minutes to eat. We were finished in about 45 min. Also, the table was extremely small, so we had to keep shifting everything around to fit. read more

I had the most amazing experience here. I came here late and was still able to be accommodated. Kate was our server and she ensured that we were well taken care of. Me and my group never had an empty glass of water and every time that we needed a drink, Kate was right there to take our order. I will be sure to come to Juno so long as Kate is serving me. 10/10 read more

We had a reservation. We arrived a few minutes early but were told there was an indeterminate wait for our reserved table. We left.

Average tasting tacos with standard menu options to choose from. Service was slow but friendly.

This is what happens what a woke white person appropriates a cultures food but never bothers to visit the country. Bland flavors, no seasoning, food took forever had to remind staff we needed napkins and utensils, when I asked for a napkin the guy looked at me like I had three heads. 0/10 would not recommend. Btw never did get those utensils, read more
