Ordered on doordash so can't comment ambience but my service was quick. Was delivered in under 40 minutes and the restaurant confirmed my order quickly. The steak quesadilla was the best steak quesadilla I have had. They really seasoned it well and had many flavors that I definitely could not replicate at home.

Great place to order Mexican type food to go or enjoy with your friends outside on the sidewalks. Place is clean, though in the summer time the mosquitoes tend to linger by the seating areas, hard to fly out of those plastic dividers once they're in, I got bitten several times and there is nothing I can do to get away, I had to end my dinner early to take home and finish eating. The food is amazing. I give it 4 stars overall for taste and quality as well as quantity. The mussels were very flavorful. Unfortunately I'm not the biggest Mexican southwest fan, so I can't judge the taste of their food compared to other establishments of the same type. They have a window where you can order and pick up to go. Besides having a clean establishment with some solid list of food choices, I also think it's important for the business itself to have some form of ethic. I found my car one closing night when they pushed their heavy trash filled bin right in front of my driver side door. Luckily I'm able to slide myself in, otherwise I would have to climb in through the passenger side. Obviously the message I'm getting here is: don't park here. I understand that it's a business, but it's also in a residential neighborhood. Due to covid they are already taking up space from their outdoor seating, like other restaurants out there. If you're going to use space, at least be mindful of the situation: it's hard to find parking in this neighborhood. People gotta get home. There is so much corner space on the block to put the trash. Or against the wall/back door. Why would you thrust it up someone's car door?

Found this place while exploring south street. A friend and I just wanted to grab some tacos before getting tattoos. We came across this cute little building that reminded me of being on an island- brick exterior, a dining and bar entrance separated, good foliage, and old style lighting. We immediately had great service, and with COVID 19 it blew us away how friendly the waitress was. We were immediately sat and offered menus. We got tacos and a quesadilla. Both were great. Complimentary chips and salsa. The good salsa too, not the one that taste like tomato soup. I had a margarita and the waitress made sure I was good and even offered to top me off with the extra bit that had been made. Friendly, polite, good food, and good service. Not sure what else I could ask for!

My friend and I were HUGE fans of the adobe cafe on passayunk. We were disappointed to hear about it closing, but excited to hear about the opening in south Philly. We went tonight and unfortunately did not have the same experience. They must have switched chefs because the food was no where near as good as the food we had in the past. The food was pretty bland. We got nachos and enchiladas. Would not go back for the food. They said they have karaoke (the Adobe on passayunk was famous for their karaoke!) but unsure where they would do that since there is no stage/clear area for karaoke. Hopefully it gets better. I really loved the one on passayunk.

My wife and I had dinner at the newly located Adobe Cafe last night and were really pleased with our experience. The food was really good, the service was very accommodating and we took advantage of some nice happy hour specials. We'll be back.

Glad to see Adobe Cafe in the neighborhood. They bring the same great quality and atmosphere up the road from their old location on Passyunk. Nice bar with multiple TV's for all the games. Great happy hour specials, specialty drinks and beer selection. I had the adobe wings today. Excellent! Highly recommend. I'll be back soon to try the rest of the menu. (Pictures posted)

We sat at the bar and the service was amazing . I have to say the happy hour specials are great for this city. I've attached a menu. My partner is a taco aficionado so for her to say the tacos were good, well then they are very good. You can get your tacos with a choice of soft or hard taco shells. We got the chicken and steak fajitas. They were very good. Two recommendations would be as follows: I would like to see more vegetables in the fajitas and how about giving your customers four tortillas up front vs having to pay $1.50 for additional tortilla. The tortillas come in groups of three only. I think this place has some really good happy hour drinks, especially cocktails and great food specials. Check it out I think you'll be glad you did. I was.

The bartenders were so nice, speedy, and knowledgeable! They patiently explained to us the differences among some drinks and provided great recs based on our preferences! The customers/ patrons that are drawn to Grace and Proper are what make this place shine! We had a full dating intervention with strangers (we asked them for advice!) and it was so fun! This is the kind of place that makes you believe in humanity and whimsical connections again! The lighting indoors can be VERY dim as we were there around sunset. It's very chic but also casual. There were mostly pairs or trios - no families. Not th. We saw people ordering a little bit of everything. Honestly, the menu looked great! The kale Caesar salad, the piri piri buffalo chicken dip, bacon wrapped plums, etc. The drinks were the best we had on our Philly trip! The Spanish Monk which had gin, lemon juice, frothed egg white and smoked paprika. I had the GGG which they carried over from their old menu. Can't remember what was in it but she said it was similar to Bee's Knees which is one of my favorite! There's self service still water and sparkling water in the back of the restaurant. Perfectly chilled. Perfectly bubbled! Such a lovely spot!

I especially like it here on a Monday's when they have a 1/2 off growlers. There's indoor out and outdoor seating you can also get specialty beers to go from the case and there's so much to choose from. I generally sit at the bar inside to get myself a couple samples of the new beers on tap just to help make a decision on what I'd like to take home. The staff is helpful, very efficient and friendly. The place is very clean well lit. Parking may be at a premium on certain days. What kept me from giving this business five stars is how food is ordered. I knew that they sold hotdogs because they're right on the counter next to the draft beer but I mentioned I needed a little more sustenance. ' we have a food menu you can order food' it was with other items next to the register. I had no idea it was food from across the street and it caused two different tabs. I should've been told is an advance in the end it was fine the pizza was good as was the beer but I would have preferred a heads up. If you use a credit card there is a $10 minimum if you get eight dollars worth of beer like I did it may have been a problem because I couldn't use my card for lack of cash! The items together were $24. When closing out trying to get to my movie the restaurant took an extended period of time bringing me my card back.

I sent an email with questions about our reservation and never received a response. The online booking portal doesn't provide much detail, and while the website has a "Call" option, it wasn't very useful. I received multiple automated reminder emails stressing that we needed to arrive 15 minutes early because race times wouldn't be extended for late arrivals, which is completely understandable. I just wish there had been the same level of attention when it came to responding to customer questions. Once we arrived, the experience was much better. They gave our group a private seating area, which was a nice surprise. Our server was friendly, checked on us periodically, and never pressured us to order food. We chose to have drinks only, and it was nice to relax before and after racing. The simulators were a lot of fun, and everyone in our group enjoyed the experience. The only thing to know is that the races move quickly--you only have about two minutes between sessions to switch drivers, so there's not much time to explore the venue or step away without paying attention to when you're up next. Overall, it was a fun and unique way to celebrate a birthday. We'd definitely come back, although probably as a special once-a-year outing because of the cost. If F1 Arcade improved its communication before events, this easily could have been a five-star experience.

The simulators do a good job of making you feel like you're actually racing--the seat moves and rumbles as you go around the track, accelerate, brake, and presumably make questionable racing decisions. One warning: if you get motion sickness easily, this might not be the activity for you. Between the moving seat and the racing visuals, your brain may start wondering why your body is sitting still while your car is doing 200 mph. The place itself is huge, with 40+ simulators. We went on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised by how empty it was. They also have a bar and serve food, but we were there strictly for the racing. We had a party of 4, so we did the team racing option and were given two simulators. Each of us got three races, and the system paired us up differently for each race, so everyone got a chance to race against everyone else. That part was actually pretty fun and made it feel more competitive. The downside is that the races are REALLY short--about 3 minutes each. So for roughly $30 per person, we each got only about 10 minutes of actual racing time across the three races. Once you factor in getting everyone set up and waiting between races, our entire visit was under an hour. The staff was friendly and did a good job explaining how the simulators work and how to check when your next race was starting, so the whole process was pretty easy. Overall, this was a fun experience, especially if you're an F1 fan or enjoy racing games. The simulators are definitely more immersive than playing a racing game at home. That said, the price is hard to overlook considering how little actual driving time you get. We had a good time, but at around $30 per person for about 10 minutes of racing, this is probably a "do it once for the experience" kind of activity rather than something we'd do regularly.
