Came here during a Halloween bar crawl. They have great happy hour specials, especially on margarita pitchers, so we made sure we got here in time. Bar staff was super friendly and did salt or sugar on each person in our party's glass individually. We got a pitcher of mango and a pitcher of strawberry I believe and both were a hit with our group. From there we grabbed a table for food. Good size menu with fair prices. There was something for everyone. I got tacos Al pastor, which was solid. The burger looked great. We also enjoyed the queso fundido. Overall it was all positives and a solid stop for our night out.
Mediocre Mexican food with terrible service. I came here with a larger group on a weekend, and we were seated upstairs. It was lively, but there were still quite a few open tables. We were able to order quickly, but from there, it was impossible to get anything. We got chips right away, but no servers came back upstairs for almost half an hour to check back in on us, meaning that we couldn't get refills. When we finally got our food, we asked for more chips and a water refill, both of which never came. Some of our party wanted hot sauce, which we also couldn't get. After about 20 minutes of waiting for someone to come and check in on any of the upstairs tables, one of my friends walked downstairs to ask a server to help us. From there, we were able to get refills on water, chips, and condiments, and our server did a better job of checking in on us. Overall, I won't be back to Sueno. The food was just okay - not worth having to walk to a separate part of the restaurant to find a server. It's a good place for large groups, but unless you can't get in somewhere else, I would avoid this spot.
Stopped by Sueno during a Cinco de Mayo bar crawl and it was definitely a vibe! We only stayed briefly, but I had a margarita and some chips with pico de gallo. It was so fresh and absolutely delicious! Despite the crowd, the bartenders were quick and efficient. There was no long wait at the bar, which is always a win!
Sueño for taco Tuesday and happy hour deals is mandatory. Our waitress was personable and professional. I ordered guac and chips , a pitcher of mango margarita, and the $2 tacos. Everything was delicious. The music was good and not too loud. I will definitely be back!
A friend made suggestion to try Sueno. It was okay but probably not in a hurry to go back. The server was friendly and helpful. It was a Thursday night and it was not very busy. We ordered sodas and they were both flat, no fizz at all. They do have margarita pitchers starting at $50, yeah that's where the prices start!! We ordered the nachos app, they came out quickly and were pretty good. Entrees came out and the looked good but... my friend had the chicken quesadilla and he said it was good, seemed to have lots of chicken but the cheese tasted weird. They did comp that entree bc he only at 1 slice. I had the enchilada Rojas and the chicken was good but the red sauce was thin and had no flavor at all. Whoever picked the playlist for the house music was on point. Some great bangers from 90s and early 2000s!! Last thing, be aware they add a service charge AND 18% gratuity to the bill then the payment app asks for additional tip.
I visited Sueno for the first time on a Saturday evening around 7pm & it was absolutely packed. No tables were available, but luckily I was able to grab a seat at the bar. Service was a little slow, but eventually one of the bartenders crafted me a beautiful cocktail - the pomegranate margarita. It was delicious, refreshing, & made me want to try other drinks on the menu. I didn't have time to try any food since the group I was with wanted to relocate to another establishment, but I wish I could've at least ordered the tacos. The gentleman sitting next to me at the bar ordered steak tacos & they looked incredible. Next time I visit Sueno, I'll be sure to make a reservation so I can try the food & more drinks!
Food was great and excellent vibe if you want a party feel and good food. Shrimp taco with sauce was delicious and so was the queso and drinks Service was very slow, got asked for drinks and right away food, kept coming back for orders quick but also didn't ask for refill of drinks or chips so timing was way off. I'd hope for a better server but if not I won't go back. Tip was auto added for just 5 of us which I found odd?
Really neat place with a unique layout. Stopped here while in Philly for work and wanted to walk around downtown for a little. We stopped here for a quick drink and food. Honestly it was the middle of the day and not too many people out at the time but their service and team was amazing. Not being from the area they let us talk about different things to do in the area. Very friendly people! They have a happy hour with $2 tacos and well drinks. I got some carnitas and a vodka cranberry. With a host sauce bar. I smashed the taco. They were perfect from size to flavor. If you live or work near here stop in for this deal. Ended up wearing my Steelers hoodie and the cook in the back noticed and bought me a shot. Steelers fan run deep everywhere!
If you're looking for a place with a decent happy hour and a great deal on tacos on Tuesdays, this is your spot. The tacos aren't bad. The pork one is probably the best one. The lines were long and the area and restaurant was jam packed in the matter of minutes. The nachos were delicious and loaded, there was standing room only so not the full restaurant experience but more of an event experience. Their signature drinks were delicious and entranced the block party vibe.

Saw that Sueno was having an event and had to see what it was about. We could not stay too long, but in the short time we were there, we grabbed a pricey palm tree pina colada margarita that was a fun drink and ordered the nachos with the lime shrimp, which was on point. We had to stand and eat at the bar, which was fine. Peeked a little at the block party, which looked fun too! Would like to come back to sit and truly dine in.
I got the chicken al pastor tacos delivered and they arrived fast and hot! They were messy in the way that one would hope and expect from al pastor tacos. They were kind of pricy, but really good!
Previously to my last visit, I've only been in for drinks on the first floor, turns out this place is much bigger than I thought! Stopped in last week for a birthday dinner with a group of ten. Our waitress was so sweet, being flexible with the fact that the birthday boy was late (lol) and that the party size changed in the middle of the meal. We all shared marg pitchers and the dip trio and it was great! Everyone loved their entrees and other sides and such. read more
Went during happy hour and was pleasantly surprised with it. The happy hour drink deals were fantastic and the guava marg and peach sangria were delicious. The food was also very good and the portion for the burrito was giant! Service was very attentive and the restaurant was clean and had a fun vibe with great music! read more

This was a great restaurant. It was near our hotel in the city so we could walk to it. It has multiple floors and our waitress was great. Service was excellent. We got a pitcher of the strawberry margaritas which were great. The food was excellent I got the fish tacos and friend got shrimp tacos. We shared ours. I did like the shrimp ones better. My son got a burrito which he loved. I would go back again. The ambiance is great comfortable seats and nice to catch up with friends. read more

The one thing I don't like is that they are really small lol. I guess for $2, you're getting what you're paying for. The service is ok. I love Sueno!! The first time I came here was on Cinco De Mayo for happy hour and I haven't stopped visiting since. Their happy hour menu is one of the best in the city IMO. They have amazing Margaritas with a variety of flavors to choose from and a robust food menu. We hadn't planned on visiting but ended up here since they had tables available. The restaurant is decorated in a fun festive manner. It is pretty spacious with two levels to enjoy the ambiance in. Service is always good and it's always a great place for a larger group. Reservations are a good idea for weekends. read more

My experience here was a bit underwhelming considering the excitement and joy I had before deciding to try Sueno out. I was in an Uber on my way elsewhere, a bit further distance, but was attracted to the outside/sidewalk patio, entrees and margaritas. My Uber driver even stated "this looks fun!" I decided to end my trip early and try this place out. Upon entering, I initiated conversation with the host and requested to sit outside and could understand if the tables outside were reserved for larger parties. The engagement, response and rationale from the individual wasn't at all acceptable. I expressed wanting to have a full dining experience, after what was recommended. I ended up having a seat at the bar which was a quick and a comforting turnaround. Vanessa & Zach were great bartenders and the manager Maureen came by to speak and do what she could. The steak flour tacos were really good, hot, fresh and enough for a filling meal. Vanessa made a great Casamigos Margarita and her energy, hospitality and attentiveness was out of this world. I would go back on a Sunday and recommend Vanessa or Zach (at the bar) but I can't say that I would feel assured with my chances on any other dining experience here. read more

We weren't happy about the wait because it said they were open online but they ended up opening an hour later. The tall lean bouncer guy had no idea what was going on, and didn't explain why they weren't open when they should be. That's okay because they more than made up for it. Food was yummy, the other staff and our server were all polite, and the food was pretty good. The drinks were great as well. We got a margarita pitcher and had to order 3 extra shots to make it taste like it had any liquor in it. read more

Pretty cool spot for dinner. All the food I have had is good. Margarita Pitcher is a great idea. Been there twice already. Definitely don't mind going there on a whim. Only complaint, they don't shred the chicken enough for their nachos. My favorite are the steak tacos! Always have leftovers to take home and eat for lunch the next day! Vibes are immaculate. 10/10 recommend. Went for Happy Hour Sunday night. Got the quesadilla 2x, crunchy tacos (was not good IMO), veggies nachos. BEST happy hour, and that 2 on a Sunday. This is my New Mexican Go to Spot. Again 10/10 read more

Made a reservation for a Saturday night dinner on OpenTable, and the process was really smooth. Ordered the chicken flautas as an entree, which ended up being pretty filling for a meal! They turned out really crispy. Took a star off because most of the drinks were on the pricier side, with an average cocktail/margarita being around $16+. Service was fast, and the waitress was really nice! They had better deals for happy hour and Eagles games, so I'd recommend going then if you want more reasonably priced drinks. read more

Food was waaaaayyy too expensive to have such a mediocre taste! The nachos were lacking toppings, no guacamole, no salsa, and no sour cream equals a lackluster nacho appetizer. They only come with cheese, beans, and jalepenos. I was very disappointed!!! Next we tried their margaritas. Very expensive with very little alcohol. At $20 you would think you would taste some alcohol. We also tried a few drinks from their cocktail menu which were also pretty bad. Now on to our entrees, once again they completely missed the mark. Very little flavor and very basic. The shrimp tacos had no flavor whatsoever. The salad had very little lettuce and the shrimp had very little flavor. The best thing about the taco bowl was eating the shell- LOL! I did notice that the vibe and decor was very nice and welcoming, so I had high hopes for the food. They had nice paintings on the wall and good music. It felt like it would be promising. The service was even good but if the food and drinks arent that good- I definitely cannot recommend to others or try for a repeat visit. $150 for a so- so meal is not the move, I'll have to pass on Sueno. Went in excited about their margarita tower but left disappointed. My friend and I ordered the strawberry flavor for 2 people we got about 7/8 glasses per person which is good, however, we could not taste the alcohol. It tasted like pure sugar and couldn't finish the tower. We felt somewhat sick and tired because of the amount of sugar we consumed. Food wise was alright. We had the chicken and beef empanadas (we preferred the beef) beef tacos and the street corn. Decent flavor and price -- I didn't find it as anything especially. Overall it was ok -- would probably only go back for the beef empanadas. read more

Looks like an upscale bar online and the place itself is nice, but vibe is like a sports bar. Prices were crazy. Service and food were fine. Tip was automatically added for 2 which was odd. read more
Came here for some Halloween fesitivities. Decorations were decent and the haunted house was okay as well. Didn't know what to expect but thought at the end of the haunted house that we'd be exit into the restaurant. Instead when done you exit into the alley. Staff communication sucks. Made reservations for 7:30 and was informed to wait in line for the haunted house which would only be 7-9mins. And we could go have dinner without any issues. When we made it into the restaurant the hostess told us we were late and we'd need to now wait. After explaining what staff informed us, she then said it would only be 5 mins. We purchased tickets online and with the purchase we received complimentary drinks and dessert. The drinks was watered down, didn't taste a hint of alcohol and the dessert is a mini chocolate chip cookie with chocolate pudding on top. There were 4 of us so we ordered the taco meal. It looked great and we couldn't wait to dig in but all the meat on the tray was cool (not hot, not even warm). read more

Okay let's just say you don't come here for the food. If you're expecting this authentic Mexican meal you'll be thoroughly disappointed. I got a quesadilla because I've heard that this place isn't really known for the food so I thought how can you mess a quesadilla up? Thankfully they didn't but I will say there was nothing extra special or crazy about it just tasted okay. I think the main attraction here is the vibe they play really great music as a Hispanic always craving to hear more Spanish music not played at more mainstream bars this place delivers on that end! The drinks as well are really good. I'd recommend going there to hang out at the bar with friends and just get a margarita pitcher! read more
