We ended with the olive oil cake and the flourless chocolate tarte. Not a chocolate fan so didn't try it but the rest in my table enjoyed it. The olive oil cake was the highlight of the night (along with the house bread). I don't know if it's because I love bread but this dessert was fluffy, moist, not too sweet, the perfect combination of lemon, meringue and honey. Place was packed so make a resy!

My friends ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese, Pasta Primavera and the Cacio e Pepe. They enjoyed the Primavera and the Bolognese however they said the Cacio Pepe lacked flavor. Before going into this restaurant, I read the reviews and was skeptical, but wanted to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. I understand they are working on improving things, however for me personally, I will not be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. The crab cakes were a little mushy for our liking. For my entrée, I ordered the Lobster Rigatoni. There was plenty of lobster on top, the portion was more than solid, and it came out at the right temperature but the flavor again failed to really impress and was somewhere between "fine" to "good". For dessert, I ordered the chocolate lava cake, and I was truly disappointed by that. For starters, there was no gooey "lava" as the name implied, and the edges were dry and seemed overcooked. The flavor again fell a little flat and I didn't bother to finish it even though I am usually a huge fan of chocolate desserts. All in all, we had an enjoyable evening as a crew, but the food could be elevated a bit from a flavor standpoint.
