Went with a few others who got the pho and they said it almost had an instant pho taste, like it came from a package. Great new spot for legit Asian cuisine in Chanhassen. The owner photos on Yelp had me wanting to check this place out. So a few months after they opened I tried this place out on a Saturday night for takeout. I called in my $30 order of chicken curry, classic pho, and spring rolls and they said 15 mins. I stopped in about 10 mins later and they were just bringing the finished order out. The staff was friendly and quick. The inside of the store is new, clean, and very simple. It probably seats around 20. The food was great. My wife loved the chicken curry - even though she typically doesn't even go for curry. The spring rolls were fresh, bright, and big. They were identical to what I've had homemade from Vietnamese friends. The pho was nice on a cold day, it wasn't overly complex but the simple clean flavors were obvious and tasty. It seems like a pretty popular place as we sat down a lot of people came in. Then again it was a Sunday afternoon. Is a nice little cozy restaurant that you walk in to. Located in a little trendy shopping area. Me and my boyfriend decided to check this place out He's been asking to have Asian. After glancing at the menu real quick and mentioning it was our first time here. The very friendly and nice cashier welcomed us and he was very helpful with answering my questions about curry. He mentioned which one he preferred and that helped me choose. Since I have no idea what curry was. I ordered Pot Stickers as well and they were delicious. The curry was a mild spice like I asked. It was good and a good footstep into that kind of cuisine I've never had. I'm glad I tries it here and may try s different one some other time. My boyfriend didn't really like his Orange Chicken he ordered. But this place is not bad at all. It's very good and im sure next time we will be satisfied again. Jungle Awesome is more like it!!! Food is so sooo soooo soooo good. Went to Jungle Kitchen the other day because I heard a few Yelpers raving about it and wanted to see what it was all about. Went there with two 1/2 of us and I would say we all loved it. Even our 16 month old ate and ate which was a huge surprise to us. Food: Had one order of the shrimp spring rolls for an ap. For $6 I have to recommend. They were light but yet really good. Try the sauces that they keep on the table for a nice dipping treat or the sauce they give you with them for a sweeter bite. For the main course we had one of the Pad Tai $13.95 and one of the Orange Chicken $10.95. The Chix came with white sticky rice. Both dishes hit the mark!!! However, the organize chicken may just be the best I have ever had. They pieces were all small, lightly breaded and fried to perfection. I love it! The pad Thai was really good as well. I even tried it again for breakfast the next morning (don't judge) and can't complain about it. The waiter also saw that we had a young one with us and brought us a cup of wate with a straw for her along with a pack of crackers. Very appreciated and thank you for that! I dropped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon with my sister to check this place out. We were excited that they offered a variety of Asian cuisine. I ordered beef pad see ew, chicken yellow curry and chicken pad thai. The dishes were generously served, but both noodle dishes lacked flavor. The chicken and beef in both dishes had no seasoning or salt added to them while stif fried. They were very bland. The yellow curry was actually very delicious but instead of the traditional carrot and potatoes, it was served with TONS of red bell pepper, green pepper and green beans. My sister and I enjoyed the curry more than the noodle dishes. They don't serve soda from a fountain - only from a bottle thats pretty pricey. The staff were great, friendly and accommodating! Overall its a nice place but I just wish it was more authentic in their recipes. Update: After 3 visits, I recommend the orange chicken, yellow curry and vegetable chow mein. We came here with my family after church. It was quite busy and the place is small, but we didn't have to wait long. The cashier that was in front was very patient and courteous and even let us try a sample of the royal tea (which I highly recommend btw) My family is big and usually when we go to a place it's hard for all of us to agree if we should go back or not. My husband & I family styled their amazing pineapple curry ( you can never go wrong with hot & sweet;) & lemongrass tofu. So fresh, clean & spicy! Straight lil' food spot. It felt like a typical smaller Chinese/Thai/Asian fusion restaurant that resembles a hole-in-the-wall. This one was just a very modern and nice looking hole in the wall in a nice looking plaza. Nothing about the place really blew me away except the cool name, it got me in the door. There may be 10-12 tables in the whole place run by 1 server during the lunch rush. She was excellent though. I ordered the Cream Cheese Wontons were an appetizer which were okay. I had expected more as far as taste, but I was grateful. For an entree I went with the Pineapple Curry which was absolutely delicious. I'm a huge fan of the coconut-based curry dishes and they did an excellent job with it. Combining it with the rice makes for a complete and filling meal.
