All the food looked as if it had been sitting for a long time under heat lamps. For being so dead I thought the tables could have been cleared. There serving size is small and skimpy and when I asked to ask the for a little bit more rice they charged me for it. Their customer service is horrible and they looked annoyed with bad attitude at every customer. I think the staff needs retraining in customer service as that is literally their job. I placed my order ahead of time on the app and it was ready when I arrived. However, I was shorted on the kids meal I ordered. There was only 1 potsticker and no dipping sauce to go with it. Don't eat here! Food falls on dirty counters and they still serve it! The employees take food that fell on counters, claim they are clean and try to serve them to you. When you deny food that fell on dirty counters, they put it back in the hot plate to serve to someone else. Absolutely disgusting. I ordered the Peking chicken, wanted pot stickers and egg rolls. One of the pot stickers fell on the counter and she picked it up and put it in my Togo container. I called her on it and said no you don't do that. She argued with me claiming the dirty counters were clean. When I told her I no longer wanted anything but the Peking chicken, she took the pot sticker and put it back in the hot bowl to serve to some one else. Then she refused to give me the managers name. The food here is fine, especially since there aren't too many quick Chinese style lunch spots in the area. Last time I stopped by they forgot the green beans I ordered.... I called the store and the gentleman that was working said they would send the information somewhere so I would get refunded but that never happened. First, I want to start by saying amazing location, located near almost everything the city of Chanhassen has to offer! It's right next to the Chanhassen Brewing, which is an amazing dog friendly brewery. It was a great location for us to get an after dinner smacks of wontons and egg rolls and a tea. I have to say, for the price, the food was actually really good, really hit the late night cravings that we all had. It also appears to be a nicer Leeann Chin, with actually nice decor on the inside. The service is as you'd expect, just people getting you the food you want quick and effectively. I do make a note that they were well staffed so it didn't take long at all to be served. I also went with the red vanilla tea, and that was really good too. All in all, it was a pretty good experience tonight at the Chanhassen Leeann Chin. read more

I normally do not do chain restaurants or fast food places, but I was going on a tour and I needed something to eat or I'd probably try to go into Prince's kitchen to see what I could make....LOL! I first saw a Taco Bell, and thought Ok, I can do that but then I saw Leeann. I had never heard of her but apparently she's been around for a while. So I thought, why not give it a try. I think the workers were a little surprised to see an Asian person coming in. It looks like they cook in small batches which keeps everything fresher. I had broccoli beef and the Mongolian chicken. I had the choice of white or brown rice and chose brown. Both dishes were good! The vegetables with the beef were nice and crispy. I felt it was better than Panda Express, although my hands did get a little swollen, so there was a fair amount of salt involved. But it sure did taste good! She even has her own water...LOL! The thing I like about Leeann Chin is you always know what you're getting. Kind of like McDonald's. The thing I don't like about Leeann Chin is you always get the same thing: greasy, kind of dry, chewy food. We used Door Dash to fulfill my once a year desire for LAC and I have to admit Door Dash is the bomb for depressed introverts. I went for the Mongolian Chicken and potstickers, while RC chose the Peking Chicken and Oyster Wings. We ordered our entrees with Asian noodles, which are basically overcooked, oily soba noodles, but still better than the rice. My Mongolian Chicken was just right in the spice department, but the over-fried chicken bits are pretty chewy even in the sauce. Potstickers were ok, but came with soy sauce packets instead of ponzu. Luckily I had ponzu in my fridge because I love it. RC's Peking Chicken was spot-on spicy but also over-fried and chewy. He cleaned the oyster wings off the bones. It was pretty good, not like it used to be 30 years ago. It's a tad greasier, a tad overcooked, and lacks the love it used to have before it exploded into chains. read more

This should be a zero. My dad went to buy my food and paid with a $100 bill and was short changed $15. The general manager of the store insisted on counting the entire till before offering the remaining change and THEN claimed his till was only over $5 and would not give my dad the complete remainder of his change!!! My dad is one of the most honest people ever! This manager should be fired this whole situation was ridiculous and he was very unprofessional in how he was speaking to my dad during the whole interaction. My food was way too greasy. I ended up eating a few bites just to get me through the day and threw the rest away. I ordered the orange chicken and Chinese noodles. Just stopped to redeem our BOGO from the LeeAnn China app, only to discover that BOGO doesn't mean BOGO. It means we'll comp you the cheapest item that you ordered. We also had the smallest portions ever served to us at any visit to a LeeAnn Chins. You would have thought that Rob the shift leader was paying for the meals himself. He actually removed food from our plates and I suspect he was counting kernels of rice, even after we paid the up charge for fried rice. And when I asked for for fortune cookies on our way out, I had to ask for them, I thought he was going to have a fit when I wanted one for everyone in our family, not just the two he originally offered me. I grew up loving this place but the last few times have been terrible. Tonight the lemon chicken (which is usually light brown) was charred black basically to the point of being inedible. We ordered to-go and they had to make a new batch so I didn't see the chicken until I got home, but an employee saw what it looked like and still boxed it up anyways. The food is what you expect with Leeann Chin. My issue with this location is if you go in after 7:30 p.m. the staff is already cleaning up to close (they close at 9). Last time I was in they had pushed some of the tables and chairs up against the wall so they could mop while people were still eating in the dining room.
