I cannot believe what just happened to this local place around the corner from where I live. I went in for breakfast (was just here with 3 other people a few weeks ago) and asked the owner if he had WiFi. He said he did. I asked the password and he said "after you order, I'll give it to you." Fine! I placed my order and he said "anything else?" I said maybe just some water for my dogs. I noticed on the way in an empty dog water bowl which looked very dirty. He pointed to the bowl - "right there." I said I can't use that as it's not only empty but it looks like there's dirt inside. He then replied "I don't care, do what you want but I don't want to serve you." And just like that....I walked out. Granted, at the best of times the owner is not the most pleasant person but this is unbelievable. I will never go back and I'll make sure some of the other regulars know about this complaint. He lost a regular and for no good reason other than he was too rude.

I came in this morning and ordered the basic breakfast and it was perfect. The atmosphere is pleasant and there were ppl here working so it was quiet which was nice! I'd have taken a pic of the food but I already ate it. It could have had more potatoes. It was pricey for breakfast so that is the only reason I give 4 stars. It was over $30 before tip for 2 basic breakfast and 1 tea.

Sunny side up with two pancakes and orange juice - $22.75

With such a bad service you feel like you don't want to eat here at all anymore. I ordered side of potatoes that came soaked in oil, when I asked to bring it back the owner refused to take it and turn his back to me. With $40 for 2 breakfast of eggs with toast and eggs with pancakes I didn't expect this place to refuse taking back a side dish of $2.5, ridiculous. The food was ok, some stuff better, some not as much. Not a very clean location. Overall I will not come back here when Vancouver has such a great other breakfast & brunch spots to offer.

A casual Kits breakfast spot at Cornwall & Cypress where you line up to place an order and the food is brought to your table - a great choice to chill out with friends on a sunny day. We came for breakfast on a Sunday. We had: - French toast with icing sugar & strawberries - Recommend if you're feelin' a sweet breakfast. This crispy deliciousness was delightfully satisfying! - Blueberry pancakes - 3 big pancakes with syrup and blueberry sauce

    Eggs Florentine.

A casual brunchstop in Kits. This place is open and roomy, and windows all around makes it feel like home. Their menu consists of benedicts, omelettes, and standard breakfast items. Order up front, take the number back to your table, and food will be served right to you. Self-serve water pitcher in the front. I had the Eggs Florentine which was surprisingly good. The side of potatoes were a little over roasted but it was seasoned well. Price was the same as any other brunch place in Vancouver, minus the servers. Like the atmosphere. Will come again for a quick stop for breakfsat or lunch.

Comfortable cafe for meetings! Lodgy, wood finishes, and open. Quiet with lots of seating to pick from. (Cashier acted miserable though)

a cup of cappuccino on a wooden table

Great little Cafe, stopped for a coffee and sandwich, friendly staff. Nice to see them open.

    Eggs, bacon and potatoes

I ordered on skip the dishes and was quite impressed. The roast potatoes were obviously fresh , the eggs were seasoned and tasty. The bacon was average. The food came hot and in great boxes. Would recommend and eat here again

Service was good, friendly. The restaurant is the same as I recall, clean enough. A little cramped and the seating isnt too comfortable. Its really not a good place to hang out for a long time, but rather sit down, eat, and get out type of place. I had the lavender latte and the Tagine this time. Ive had it before and at least its pretty consistent. Ive tried several other things on their menu in the past too, all pretty solid 4/5. Nothing standout as so amazing to deserve 5 stars, but consistent and tasty. I did have a reservation which they charge $10/person for, purely for donation to a charity and does not contribute to your meal at all, and also nonrefundable. While I find this somewhat annoying, I dont blame them for doing this from a business standpoint. They always have a lineup so there is no shortage of customers for them. There is no reason they need to deal with the headache of a ton of reservations. On the flip side, they honoured my reservation in a very timely fashion and I bypassed the line, so props to them for doing that part right. If you have to park, then you may find street metered parking or use one of the nearby paid lots.
