This place is a must try! Their menu has such fun, unique options you won't find anywhere! Their coffees are delicious!! I got a maple late and it was heavenly!! All the food was fresh and delicious! The service was beyond! She was so amazing and friendly! She was laughing and joking and very attentive! It was a great experience!! Not one complaint across the board! We definitely recommend!!! The place itself is homey and comfortable. They have lots of room so they can accommodate groups while also having small tables and booths. read more

We went to Cora's in downtown for New Years breakfast, it was pretty full at 1pm but we were able to get a spot after just a 5mins wait. Probably because it was just the two of us. Their menu was very different from the last time I was there. They had some new items added like a lemon & herb potato/sweet potato side. I got their Banana, pineapple, guava and dragon fruit cocktail (spirit free) and loved it! It was so refreshing and not too heavy. It was also not too sweet. I also really enjoyed their buckwheat blessing savoury crepe - which came with 3 buckwheat-sorghum crepes stuffed with sausage and cheddar cheese. And a side of potatoes and fruits. Their assortment of fruits was so good, I don't think I have had such sweet pineapple before. Even their strawberries were really good! My partner got their blueberry pancake - so soft and fluffy. If you're in mood for a good hearty breakfast, I would highly recommend Cora's. They are soo many options to choose from, everything from omelettes, bennies, crepes, pancakes, sandwiches, and so much more. Their service was also really nice, the staff were all so friendly and despite it being busy, their service was fast. It is also a pretty big space, so perfect for a big group. read more

Great breakfast spot that was within walking distance from our hotel. We were used to central time zone so woke up early for here. As a result, many breakfast restaurants were not open yet for the day. I found Cora on yelp and it was a great spot. They even had some early bird specials. I got the blueberry pancakes and they were excellent. Service from Judy was friendly, but she had all of the tables that morning. Great breakfast spot! read more

Excellent food and service. The eggs Benedict with salmon and avocado was perfect. Kids panini with ham and egg was delicious. Fresh fruit and drink of the day was a smoothie with mango, apple, banana. Crepes and pancakes, try it all. Everyone enjoyed their delicious and beautiful plate of breakfast food. Server and staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant is comfortable and clean. Paul the waiter was the best. read more

Sarah was very attentive We ordered the for 2 feast and it was a PLATTER of food. Food was delicious read more

I'm a sucker for skillets, and Cora has a good one. Best of all, the one I would pick is on their menu deals at the moment, making it a bargain. My ideal skillet would be crispy home fries, bacon, cheese, onions, red and green peppers, and an over easy egg. Cora's Ten Star Skillet adds spinach, green onions, ham, sausage, and, um ... frankfurters and bologna? I almost had them leave those last ingredients out, but then figured, what the heck, and tried the standard version. It was very good. I do wish the base had been crispy home fries rather than rather large potato wedges, but I just left those, and convinced myself that's where all the calories were. Service was friendly and quick, and the location, which doesn't look like much on the outside, is quite nice inside. Overall, very good quality for such a large chain. read more

We came for a leisurely breakfast before boarding our cruise ship to Alaska. We chose Cora's because it was close to our hotel. The food was fresh and tasty. The fresh fruit that came with my ham and cheese crepe sandwich was so fresh and flavorful. The fresh fruit was varied and plentiful, the cantaloupe and honeydew actually had taste. The best part of the meal was our server Viviana. She was AMAZING, considerate, quick and friendly. Refilled my sisters latte with a cup of regular coffee. She offered us samples of a mango smoothie. This is a gem of a neighborhood restaurant with excellent service. Cora's is lucky to have someone like Viviana read more

Packaged hollandaise, instant bacon, old fruit. WAY overpriced! 60$ delivered for a benny and a breakfast wrap. I'm sure the French owner would never serve that hollandaise. Steer clear and make breakfast at home for 10$ read more

Cora is awesome. Friendly people, good breakfast, and one of the most reasonably priced places in Vancouver. Kid friendly and have almost everything you could want for breakfast on the menu, If I am ever in Vancouver again I will be back. Also it is walking distance from most downtown hotels and half the price of eating at the hotels. Go there quick!!! read more

A huge number of breakfast options, many of them are vegetarian. The vegetarian options are not clearly labelled but they are easy to find. I don't believe there are any vegan options. We had a burrito crepe, the gigi omelette, and spinach/onion/goat cheese benedict. All three were good; hard to find anything to complain about wrt to the food...but also hard to write a glowing review about any of the dishes. The service was the star here. We were seated immediately, coffee arrived quickly, food not far behind. Friendly and efficient. If you are looking for a huge selection of breakfast items, decent food and good service served in a restaurant with a corporate feel...you can end your search. Would we go back? I think there are better options, but in a pinch no reason not to return. read more

Solid breakfast with large portions. Son loved his waffle and fruit and wife and I enjoyed our egg skillets. Great little breakfast place!

Good breakfast restaurant. Highly recommend chocolate pancakes, the chocolate sauce is really good, hope you can provide more! The ham crepe is also good, try add one hollandaise sauce with it. All in all really good breakfast restaurant. read more

Stopped here passing through to Alaska. Attentive and friendly wait staff let us split breakfast special. Food well cooked, and prices very reasonable especially considering it's in downtown Vancouver. Add to that savings from the $C to $US exchange rate. Breakfast special had 2 large blueberry pancakes, two bacon, 2 eggs, 2 tomato slices, two toasts and a coffee for $C11 read more

Very bad service! We've been waiting at the diner for like almost an hour and the servers were so busy cleaning up tables and totally ignore our orders. Guys pls don't go they are very bad!!!! read more

Decent breakfast spot. We got there around 9 and were seated immediately. The service was fast. The coffee was a bit bitter for my liking but nothing a little cream and sugar can't fix. We ordered the Undecided and the Gargantuan. The crepes were pretty tough and the pancake tasted a bit weird but everything else was pretty good. read more

The service and our waitress were great. She was super nice. But if you're visiting from America, this is like the Canadian version of ihop. It was very clearly a cheap, chain restaurant. The omelette was really good. But the waffle. Pancakes, and meat weren't. There was some sort of icing and strawberry preserves on the waffle. It made it way too sweet. The pancake was thin and dry. Not very good food. But good service. read more

I've walked by this place so many times but never tried it out until recently. I came for brunch with a friend on Saturday around 11 am, and it wasn't too busy. Appearances can be deceiving; it's a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. I saw a lot of families eating here, so it's not a hip brunch spot like Medina, but the food is pretty solid. Most of the brunch menu consisted of either sweet dishes like pancakes or french toast, or savory breakfast platters and benedicts and omelettes. They also offer some sweet or savory crepes. I went with the 10 star omelette ($16.45), which comes with a ton of different meats and veggies. I asked for no onions and peppers as well as cheddar. Our server was pretty nice about my requests. My friend ordered their vegetarian omelette (Theo's). Each omelette also comes with potatoes and toast and some sliced tomato on the side. Food came out fairly quickly. The omelette isn't as much of an omelette as a flat egg scramble with everything mixed in (see my picture). I didn't mind, but keep in mind it isn't what you traditionally picture when you think of an omelette. It was a large portion; I don't know how many eggs they put in but I'm guessing 3-4. They don't skimp on the meat either. I was struggling to finish my omelette by the end. When we paid, our server also gave us a loyalty card. I guess we'll have to come back again some time so we can rack up the $'s on it :) read more

Let's be clear, Cora is NOT a high class, organic, free range, grass fed, named origin of your food type of place. What Cora is... is a delightful throwback to the shabby-chic period where a solid, well prepared, tasty classics breakfast fare can be found. Just looking at the menu, you already know the need to come back... the idea will haunt your decision making process. All the normal things like the "Western" and "Spinach and Cheddar" omelettes are there.. but a few twists like the "10 Star" which for myself, is the winner. Call it the "Everything and the kitchen sink" dish, it has everything meat and veg related, including bologna. Don't let that scare you off. Once you commit, it's no going back; with things like Bacon and Frankfurters also tossed in, you won't regret this good decision. Due to Covid, they have put up plastic screens/walls everywhere, and THAT IS OKAY. I appreciate the fact they clean everything before seating, and we were spaced apart from other tables. The portions were good, and customer service was great, and they had plenty of Kid distractions, once the kiddo decided that they were done with the food situation. Would I come back here again? Yes. Is it as good as Forage (a gourmet breakfast place down the street)? Yes, in different ways. Should you come with your group of friends, and have well made, tasty, solid "pedestrian" food? Yes, deal with it, and enjoy it. read more

We just had breakfast at Cora's in Coquitlam. I will never go back again. There were 4 of us, 3 of our breakfasts arrived cold. The fourth arrived after the three of us had finished eating. When the waitress asked to refill my coffee which wasn't very often she spilled the coffee over the table. My breakfast was one egg with fruit. I asked the waitress if it came with toast and potatoes she said yes. I got my breakfast which only came with toast. The fruit got all over the plate and got into my egg yolk, I wish they had put the fruit into a bowl. My husband said his pancake was so small, nothing like the picture. Just over $100 for breakfast for 4 what an absolute waste of money. I told the staff member at the cash desk about the fourth arriving late and all she said was " I am so sorry" Great read more

We got here around 10/10:30-ish and the place was quite busy. Had to wait in line for a little bit before being seated. Their menu is extensive and probably has something for everyone. We ended up ordering smoothies, the Gigi Omelette and a Chicken Sandwich. The portions were huge and the food tasty. The staff was also very friendly. The only downside is probably the wait time. read more

Food was average, so was coffee. Only items that were great, were the potatoes, ham and fruit. So many other places to choose.

Great food matched by the great service! was here on honeymoon and couldn't have had a better breakfast

Large quantities, Denny's quality. Large menu, everything done in generous quantities with adequate flavor. Coffee was pretty mediocre.

It's almost impossible to find a restaurant that "Features" fresh fruit on the menu. All of the fruit offered here is not only fresh but it is perfectly ripe and delicious. The service was welcoming. They close at 3pm, close to when I arrived. I asked if they were still open and the waitress said "of course" and sat me down at a nice table. It's has a attractive dining room which is huge but was almost empty by this time. I ordered and was served promptly. I couldn't believe how good the fruit was. I will definitely return to this gem of a place. I'm just sorry that this place, like many in YVR closes so early. read more

The restaurant has a very bright and cheery atmosphere and was packed when we arrived around 9:30 am. Service was ok but was a little less attentive for beverage refills. They have a nice varied menu and the food was good but a little pricey. Crayons, a coloring sheet, and balloons are provided for the little ones which is a nice touch. Salmon Benedict, fruit plates and various egg/pancake combinations were all tasty and we would definitely come back when In Vancouver read more

This is a chain restaurant with breakfast and lunch options. The servings are ample, but not too much. The food was decent, but very "chain restaurant" in quality. Think of the food as similar to a "Denny's" or "iHop." The service was great, everyone working seemed friendly and had a good hustle. We didn't realize it was a chain until after we were seated-- we probably wouldn't have eaten here. We like to try the locally owned cafes when we visit Vancouver. read more
