Heads up *this is a buffet, which we did not expect nor look for. I'm so glad we decided to stay and eat. Everyone was pleasantly and helpful (we had a 7 month old with us so buffets aren't ideal). Food was delicious. We had fried chicken (there were other options) mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes casserole, Lima beans and friend okra. We went for lunch on a Sunday since they offer a buffet.The service was good and somewhat quick.The food however was some of the worst we've ever had.The cake slices were a week old at least and the driest To the point it was crunchy.Sorry but we won't be back,my daughter called the place gross. read more

Buffett style southern breakfast. It was good. The tomato gravy was amazing. The fact that they had that on the buffet made me want to go here and it ended up being awesome. My only complaint is the French toast and cinnamon buns were kind of stale but that is just my opinion. Definitely give this place a try as I think you'll like it. read more

We walked in and were greeted immediately by staff. We were informed we could go ahead and get our plates. The young lady took our drink orders. We all got something different off the buffet. The chicken was dry (even once it was drenched in dressing). Everything was ok. The service was subpar at best. Once our drinks were delivered the waitress did not check on us once. Plate price includes 1 meat, 2 sides, but add $2 for this & that, desserts seperately priced (?) - is this a buffet or a cafeteria? * They stop serving breakfast at 10:30. We had the breakfast buffet on our way through town. The restaurant was very clean. The selection of food on the buffet was great! Eggs,sausage, bacon, grits, sausage gravy, fruit , cinnamon rolls etc.. It was hot and fresh. We had our food and we're seated and eating within 5 minutes of walking in the door. Good old southern cooking. The restaurant is packed when we were there. Obviously a local favorite. The food is what you'll expect in a restaurant like this. Fried chicken, liver, and various vegetables cooked country style all served buffet style. For lunch, $9.99 comes with coffee or tea. Desserts look good but I did not try. My husband had the banana pudding but wasn't too impressed with it. The decor looked dated but the restaurant looks clean. The ladies restroom was well stocked but the men's restroom was not. Traveling through south Alabama saw the signs, decided to give it a try. Biscuits were so hard you could play hockey with them. NO sausage gravy! They had some kind of ham and bean mix instead. Eggs were wet and runny. Hash browns were black burnt on the outside and uncooked on the inside. Tater tots ice cold and greasy. Bacon Uber salty. Floors were really dirty. Won't stop here again. I was really excited to see the crawfish boil! The spicy aroma was intoxicating!!! Too bs the aroma was the only good thing about it. The crawfish themselves were dry and completely flavorless!!! You could tell they had not been cooked in the same liquid but rather frozen and recooked!! Yuck!!!! The cheese grits were cold, corn on the cob was soggy and mushy, the pan fried fish was Lao super dry, the peel and eat shrimp were over cooked and flavorless!!!!
