Holy Smokes talk about a seafood boil! I have been craving some crab legs and shrimp and have heard all the rave about Juicy Seafood, so I decided to try it myself. I decided to get my order to-go and order before, the ordering process online went smoothly. Once I came to pick up the food and drive 20 minutes back to my house the food was still hot and STEAMING! The amount of food we (2 females) ordered could have feed at least three people - Combo G - it was 1/2 a pound of each meat: crab leg, sausage, and shrimp along with some potatoes and corn. There are different seasoning and spice levels to choose from: Cajun, lemon pepper, garlic butter, old bay, and the juicy special. We ended up getting the juicy special and it was delicious! The service was great when I went in to pick up my food. I plan on going back with a group to have this experience.

Quite possibly the absolute worst restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of eating at!!! The fact that it was in a shady strip mall in East Nashville should have sent up a plethora of Red Flags, but my wife and I had eaten at one there locations in North Carolina and we loved it, so we threw caution to the wind and went there. We'll start with the food. For starters, we ordered a dozen oysters. They were the only good part of the experience. We chose to build our own platter. We ordered half a pound of shrimp WITHOUT heads, we got three shrimp with heads on. We ordered half a pound of Green Mussels, again we received three mussels. We ordered 8 scallops and there were 8, BUT they were literally the circumference of a nickel. I'm sure that the half a pound of Snow Crab legs were right but we couldn't even open them because they were so rubbery. There were literally only three pieces of corn on the cob and two and a half red potatoes. A decent amount of broccoli that was absolutely uneatable because they were so overcooked. The seasoning (basic garlic butter) had started congealing by the time she poured it on to the platter...the platter that we had to ask for, if we hadn't she expected us to eat straight from the bag. Which now brings us to the service, or should I say the lack there of. When the waitress took our drink order, my friend asked for wine and the waitress said, "Yeah we don't have wine, but we got Champagne beer". My friend asked what champagne beer was and the waitress actually said, "I'm not really sure it's just called Miller High Life... champagne beer." We should have got up right then and left, but unfortunately we stayed. After we initially got our drink orders within minutes she brung out the oysters and as I said before they were good. We then gave our order and within minutes, before the oysters were even eaten, the bag of food and three plates...as if it were already made. I asked if they had a platter that we could empty onto and she acted as if she was put out by doing this. It took longer for her to get the platter than it took to get our food. She brought us one tool to open the Crab legs because she said there wasn't anymore...keep in mind the place was nearly empty. We never saw her again until the check was LITERALLY dropped on the table. Quite possibly the absolute worst and dumbest waitress in the history of the profession. Atmosphere...as I said it's in a shady strip mall in East Nashville. The inside smells of damp and old seafood with mumble rap blasting over the speakers. In conclusion, I would say even if there's a zombie apocalypse happening and this was the ONLY restaurant with food and shelter...STILL AVOID IT AND TAKE YOUR CHANCES WITH THE ZOMBIES!!!

Came here cause I was craving a crab boil! Originally from Florida, I know some good seafood, this is pretty good for not being near the sea. For appetizer I got fried okra, perfect snack to start. For my boil I got snow crab, shrimp, and sausage. The seasonings may have been a little heavy and my shrimp were swimming in butter, good but a little much for my liking. Still was very happy cause the crab is what I really wanted and got more than expected for a 1/2 pound and it was very good and had a decent amount of meat. The service was lovely, my waitress went over the whole menu and always checking in on me and very nice!! Place is easy to get to next to ace hardware with a parking lot. Glad I now know there is a good boil in town, will be back.

Came in here last week. They were steady busy and we were seated right away. They had great prices and good deals on their specials. We ordered the special with came with king crab legs, half pound of shrimp, Everything was cooked to her liking, seafood boil had a great taste. The king crab legs hurt very little meat in the shell, and I have no idea why. Some of the shells had no meat in them, weird! Everything was great, but I do not think I will return

The food here is really great. The one and only problem we had was with the server Missy. She started off complaining about working a double shift. From there it just got worse. As soon as our food was placed in front of us our final check was followed. With no regard to if we needed anything else. Other customers came in and were attended in a different manner. As we were reviewing our checks she quickly walked up and started snapping her fingers saying" I have a emergency and have to go". I asked for the manager and that was the last I saw her. Again the food was great and great flavors but refuse service from Missy

The atmosphere is spot-on: Mardi Gras beads, Louisiana sports on the screens, a chill patio, and that welcoming bayou energy that makes you feel right at home. The food? Straight fire (in the best way): * Those boudin balls are crispy perfection on the outside, packed with flavorful house-made sausage inside - addictive and authentic! * The red beans and rice (loaded with smoky Andouille) is rich, hearty, and comforting - exactly what you'd crave on a cool day. * And don't even get me started on the shrimp po'boys - plump, perfectly fried Gulf shrimp piled high on that soft Leidenheimer bread, dressed just right with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles. Juicy, crunchy, seasoned to perfection. One of the best po'boys I've had anywhere outside Louisiana! What seals the deal is the people. The staff is always friendly and quick, the bartenders sling great drinks (Abita on tap is clutch), and you can tell the owner pours real heart into this place - it's personal, passionate, and makes every visit feel special. Ratings Husband - 4 star - roast beef…read moreSon - 4 - alligator Me - 3 - burger Sides - fried green tomatoes & red beans & rice. I got outvoted and they got a 4. Husband got the roast beef. He enjoyed it but thought it was too much bread. He prefers when they pull some of the bread out. It had debris and that's probably why he gave them a 4. We shared a side of red beans & rice. He thought the flavors were nice. I did not. It was like playing a game of find the beans. It was overly spicy and resembled a sausage soup. I've never had soupy red beans & rice (that barely had any beans) before so I wasn't a fan. Son got the alligator and fried green tomatoes. He really liked the sandwich. It looked like it had a nice amount of gator in it. The fried green tomatoes were overly spiced (come on not everything in Cajun food is a heat bomb - I'm from New Orleans so I know my Cajun food). Having said that - the tomatoes were done right. Not greasy and the crisp was good. Me - burger and this was where things went sideways and they lost a star. I have food allergies. I very carefully pick places where I can eat and make sure to stress what I cannot have. It's nothing crazy. Seafood, dairy, eggs.... so I chose the burger with no cheese. I don't like pickles or onions so asked those be removed as well. It comes out, no cheese. Yay! But it had so many pickles in it! I spent a good amount of time deconstructing it. Then there was the meat to bread ratio. 1/3 of the sandwich was just bread. I wasn't a fan of how they placed the burger on it. I thought it was a good idea to make a burger po'boy but the burger should have been placed differently or something. So between the "find the beans" soup and the mostly bread burger? I had to give them 3 stars. Ambiance - typical mall restaurant. Service - solid 4 star.

This place was a wonderful little experience. We were greeted with the sign outside, "Enter as Strangers and Leave as Friends," which is one of my life philosophies. We got there right at opening, so we got seated first along with one of their years-long regulars. A friendly local lady who provided us with pleasant conversation until the next patrons arrived, who were seated right next to us at the same table, family style. Then the next people, then the next. Sitting, talking, passing the food around the table. It was a nice experience. And the ambiance was nice, too. Plain, wooden chairs, white tile flooring, vintage holiday decor, it was like being in a grandma's house. Very comforting. The food came out one or two dishes at a time. Everything was good enough, but it also was apparent that it was mass produced in a catering style. The basics like the bacon and ham were very good, but the fried chicken, I wouldn't take a big piece, save your stomach room for other things. Whatever other things you grab, make sure you grab a biscuit and get ahold of their homemade peach preserves. That stuff was 10/10 excellent. It's so good, they jar it and sell it at the front desk. I totally recommend. Overall, breakfast is one of the most important meal of the day, so if you find yourself in Nashville, I would implore you to come and check out this city staple of over 30 years now.
