    Margarita Lime Chicken
    Abigal S.

Our favorite local Mexican spot! Such a great deal for the amount/quality of food you get. Restaurant has fun environment and even serves pitchers with a sparkler. Service can be a hit or miss but they are typically busy. The margarita lime chicken is a family favorite and we have ordered it several times. We will be back!

What a blast! Went here on a last minute decision and didn't regret it. Lovely outside and fun interior. Food was delish and service was friendly. Highly recommend the Chorizo con Queso and Catcus side!

Incredible experience. Beautiful restaurant and attentive staff. Food is very good value for price!

    Birthday celebration

We went there for our son's birthday celebration. The service is top notch. Laura our server was so sweet and helpful. She organized a secret celebration for our son at the table and he was thrilled. We had a good laugh. The food was very good, hot and plentiful. We have been there before and there is always a pronounced Hispanic clientele there , a good sign for a Mexican restaurant and the atmosphere is friendly and lively. Our son, his wife and baby go there often and always rave about it.

    Asada Fries

First time we've eaten here and it was fantastic. Server was very efficient & attentive. Food came out fast & hot. The asada fries were great. Big portion sizes. Chicken in the Chimichangas was very flavorful & moist. Often shredded chicken is dried out but not here. Definitely adding this to our lunch rotation. Menus, tables, silverware all very clean. Nice lighting, music & temperature.

    Veggie Burrito

Visiting Nashville this weekend for a wedding, and last night was our first official meal out. We found a hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant called Tequila's. Entering in, it was not very busy, and it looks like a standard Mexican restaurant. There were 7 of us, but they initially only brought us 2 things of chips with two salsas. We needed at least 2 more because 7 of us aren't splitting 2 salsas. The chips and salsas were decent, nothing spectacular. I ordered a veggie burrito without mushrooms and sour cream and got queso on top instead of salsa. The vegetables were very well seasoned, and the queso on top was nice! The rice and black beans inside was pleasant. The service was not the best--it felt like some things were meant for us to do ourselves. This was a full-service restaurant, so I expect them to at least give us a soda/drink inside the cup to go or hand our checks to all of us instead of making us do it ourselves. On a better note, this place is pretty cheap. You can find decent Mexican food for a good price. Overall, I would say check this out if you're curious. I bet there are much better Mexican restaurants in Nashville.

We visited with a large party and the service and food were both great. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed. Our food was served in a timely fashion and it was very good. Among our group we tried the chimichangas, taco salad, Pollo ranchero, and fried fish and everyone was happy with their meal. We are happy to have found Tequila's Mexican Restaurant and look forward to visiting again soon.

    $20.99 churros. Absolute scam.

When we moved to the bar, the bartender, Ashley, asked if we were moving from another spot. When we said yes, she said we would need to get what we needed from our server. Cool, we had already ordered and we would order the next round of drinks from her. After our food came, my wife asked the bartender for a napkin, and she gave it to her, but said, I told you that you would need to get anything you needed from your server . My wife, not really believing what she had heard, said, even a napkin? Ashley says "yes, I'm not making any money off you". I don't think I've ever heard anyone in the service industry be so rude. We talked to the manager and she suggested a review.

Famous for not having a sign, finding it may be part of the adventure, but once you do, everything else is effortless. Parking is simple--just pull up and valet takes care of the rest. With a reservation, we walked right in with no wait. The most difficult part of the evening was deciding what to order because the menu offers so many tempting choices. I selected the Kvarøy Arctic Salmon, while my wife chose the Springer Mountain Farms All-Natural Chicken. Both dishes exceeded expectations. The salmon was cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside. It rested on a bed of greens with a subtle lemon flavor that paired beautifully with the fish. The chicken was equally impressive--moist, tender, and packed with flavor. What stood out most was the incredible smoky aroma that hit before each bite, making it even more irresistible. For dessert, the Blackberry Lemon Bread Pudding was the perfect finish. Soft, warm, and bursting with flavor, it was a standout ending to an already exceptional meal. From the outstanding food to the attentive service, Urban Grub delivered a fantastic dining experience. Make a reservation, enjoy the meal, and see if you can find the place.

The shrimp and grits were absolutely phenomenal--the shrimp were large, incredibly flavorful, and cooked to perfection, paired with the most perfectly savory grits I've ever had. My coworkers were equally impressed with their meals, highly praising both the omelet and the Southern Breakfast We opted to sit outside on the patio, which was perfect for people-watching. The large canopy shades kept us completely comfortable and out of the direct sun. To top it off, our server was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed. Didn't come out till 7:05pm when happy hour was over after getting other people involved asking about it multiple times, not just to the server. Then all of a sudden another one came out and they said here they accidentally made another one because I guess someone had put another one in while we were waiting so we just had to chug that one too. Didn't seem super responsible to be honest but at least I had other people to share it with. Would have rather just had it taken off the bill completely rather than then trying to just give us free drinks when we were already trying to leave. Overall seemed to be a bit disorganized and couldn't even leave until around 7:30pm because no one would come by and give us our check. We were late for our next commitment which sucked. No other way to say it. Expected way more from a classy hotel

I ordered the Eggs Benedict which looked good on the menu but far less so upon arrival at the table. The hollandaise sauce was clumpy and congealed while the eggs looked more like hard boiled than poached. The waitress was like "You don't like them cooked?" . I ordered something more straight-forward and she asked if I would like to munch on my prior "hard boiled benedict" while waiting. Nice thought... but if it looks inedible why would I want to eat it?? I then waited patiently for my sunny side up eggs with home fried potatoes. Those arrived with a hair in them! Needless to say, after sitting patiently for an hour waiting for some semblance of edible food, I had to stand up and leave. The manager "comped" my two dishes (that I didn't touch!) but still charged for my partner's meal, the coffee and juice. Bad experience. Do not go here.
