My friends & I stopped in hoping to grab a spot at the bar, but the bar is small with four-tops that were full. We decided to stay & got seated without a reservation. The place is beautiful. This Nashville Yards area makes you feel like you're not even in Nashville anymore. We ordered the unlimited experience, and the bar impressed me. Some things were missing, but you could get what you wanted. Everyone we encountered was kind. At first it was a challenge get the variety of meats to the table, but once we shared with our wonderful server what we hadn't tried, he shared with the team, and they brought over everything stat. We had to turn the cards over to red quickly! They have a discount for parking, but only for a specific part of the garages, which one of my friends & I didn't park in, so pay attention. Love: lamb chops, ribeye (flavorful, cooked to right temperature); cheese bread (could eat all the time); servers (kind, helpful) Dislike: parking (but I didn't realize all the Nashville yards garages were the same)

I came here last night for a friend's birthday dinner. We were excited to try it as we've been to similar restaurant before. Parking was interesting. There's a garage right underneath the restaurant however there were not a lot of cars in there and the design was odd. Thankfully we all parked near each other. The restaurant does validate parking there at a discounted rate. When we arrived, we had a short wait which was fine even though the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. The ambiance was nice and our servers did a good job taking care of our group I wanted the seabass because it was my favorite but shortly after ordering I was told they were all out. It was a bummer as I wish they had told the waitress what is and isn't available prior to ordering but oh well. I opted for the full experience instead. The cheese bread was good especially once they brought us a fresh batch. The salad bar was really good. Most of the meats i tried were good however the sirloin had no seasoning or flavor. The birthday girl was looking forward to lamb which is her favorite but we had to ask for it several times. I don't think we would've gotten it had we not asked as it wasn't a dish we saw going around often. The lobster mac and cheese was a hit at our table. The mashed potatoes were too salty and not hot. The desserts all looked good. I had the crème brûlée which is my favorite & it didn't disappoint I love the new Nashville Yards area & look forward to other places they are bringing to it. I wouldn't choose to come back here again; although I would if invited to celebrate another occasion.

The food at this location is good, but the service could use improvement. I recently visited with a larger group and we were seated in the far back right section. It seemed like the meats took a long time to make their way around to our table, and the side dishes we ordered from the menu didn't arrive until most of us were already finished eating. When our checks came, we also had to remind our waiter that a few of us ordered the Indulgent Churrasco, which includes dessert. Even after the reminder, it took another 20+ minutes for the desserts to come out. This was my second visit to this location, and during my first visit I also had to wait an additional 20-25 minutes to be seated despite having a reservation. I enjoy this restaurant chain overall, but this location could definitely improve its service and timing. Recommend the bone marrow!

My husband and I visited Fogo in Nashville last night to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing, especially considering we spent over $300. We had a reservation and arrived about five minutes early. The wait itself was not terrible, but once we were seated, we immediately noticed how extremely small the table was. We regularly visit steakhouses back home in Chicago, and this was the first time we've ever been seated at a table that could barely fit two plates comfortably. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the ambiance is very nice. However, the service and food quality did not match the price point or atmosphere. We ordered a full bottle of wine, and when the server returned, they brought the wrong bottle. Thankfully, we noticed before it was opened. Throughout the evening, service was very slow. Many times we could not find servers or staff members, and we repeatedly had to ask for basic things like extra food and water refills. Empty side dishes and plates were never cleared, and no one checked on us consistently. One thing that stood out negatively was that none of the meat servers asked us how we preferred our meat cooked. Several cuts arrived overcooked and tough. The meat overall was not tender and was difficult to chew, which was very disappointing for a steakhouse at this price level. We tried multiple cuts and did not enjoy most of them. The highlights of the evening were actually the wine, the rice, and the lamb chops, which were flavorful. Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The salad and buffet area also lacked variety compared to other steakhouses we frequently visit. It was very small, far from our table, and not particularly impressive. Another disappointing aspect was the overall hospitality. No one asked if we were celebrating a special occasion, and the service felt rushed and impersonal, almost as if they wanted guests to leave quickly. We also noticed a nearby table leave after waiting more than 20 minutes without receiving proper service. We understand restaurants can get busy, and we truly do not want to be harsh because we know everyone there is working hard. However, there were simply too many mistakes throughout the night, and for the amount of money spent on what was meant to be a special anniversary dinner, the experience did not meet expectations at all. Sadly, we would not return.

This was my first expat any Brazilian steak house and having the full Churassco experience. Overall, my family enjoyed ourselves but it was an interesting experience. It was a busy Friday night and the atmosphere was definitely celebration worthy for our purposes. We enjoyed being able to have a shared dining experience, but didn't have as much guidance earlier in the evening. Thank goodness was for our server Coral who made sure to elevate our experience as the night went on. We all went with the full Churassco experience for $65/person which included all the meats served by gauchos throughout the night, some warm table sides like mashed potatoes, crispy polenta, and caramelized bananas. We tried their signature cocktail, the CAIPIRINHAS and enjoyed them alright. The skinny wasn't our fave, but the strawberry hibiscus was pretty tasty if you don't mind anything too sweet. Overall, the meat could've been more seasoned and we wished we'd had the chimichurri and A1 steak sauce earlier in the night. The lobster mac & cheese was a real let down and had to be sent back. It was watery and lacked flavor. I would try Fogo again for lunch, but I won't be running back for the Churassco dinner experience anytime soon.

The service is great got to know all servers by now! Have been coming at least once a week and the ambience is great. The Rue Picanha Burger for $10 is an incredible deal--super juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The appetizers were excellent too, fresh and full of flavor. Great food, great value, i highly recommend. If you are not happy with anything look for Gilson or Lucas and hey will take care of you.

I know this location just opened, so I'll try to be constructive. I've been to other Fogo de Chão restaurants, and this one fell a bit short--mostly due to the setup. There isn't enough space for the usual carts with multiple meats, so servers came around one at a time with single cuts. For the first 30 minutes or so, we mostly got picanha. It was great, but I wanted more variety. When we asked our waitress if we could get other cuts, her tone was surprisingly curt. She responded with "well, what is it that you want?" I was taken aback by the tone (she seemed annoyed), so all I could manage to respond was "something other than picanha." We eventually got sausage, lamb, and a garlicky beef, but by then I was too full on picanha to enjoy them (I never saw any kind of ribeye). The salad bar also felt smaller and less varied than other locations. The highlight was dessert--the crème brûlée cheesecake was incredible, with a caramelized crust on every side. Easily one of the best cheesecakes I've had. Final thoughts: I'd come back and give it another try (especially because I really enjoyed the dessert). With that said, I don't think this location will feel quite the same as the others. The limited space changes the flow and atmosphere a bit, but with time and some fine-tuning (i.e., not overlooking the customers they seat in the back areas), I think they can still make it an enjoyable experience in their own way.

Really nice restaurant with a really nice set up/ decor. I've tried Brazilian steakhouses before in the past, but this is my first experience with Fogo de Chao. I decided to do the full churrasco experience. It was about $65/ person. It's all you can eat, and it also comes with the cold bar that has some soups, salads, veggies, and a few fruit items. They had different people walking the steaks around to your table and they carve you whatever cut you want. I'm usually a ribeye kinda gal, but I felt the sirloin here tasted better and had more seasoning. The ribeye was kind of bland to me, but the good thing about them was that they walked some cuts to us that I didn't want, and I just asked for some ribeye and they brought it. The mashed potatoes and plantains were also served warm. They brought those out to us. My favorite items here were the plantains and the toasted cheese with honey. The cheese and honey were brought to you table side as well. They had a pretty good deal for their drink menu. Honestly would've ordered another drink, but we only saw our server twice. When we placed our drink order, which took forever to get, and then when he dropped our drinks off. He never came back to the table. In all, I didn't have a bad experience and would probably come back. I thought it wasn't a bad deal to get to try different things.

I really liked this place, we walked in on a whim when we saw they were open (they really were not it was still a soft opening) but they were kind and found us a table anyway. It had been a while since i visited a Brazilian steak house but i was quickly reminded that I should have come starving! lol There is so much food you want to try and at least I could not try as much as i liked. The service was good, the only hickup we had was a hamburger we ordered that took forever (50 mins) since someone delivered it to the wrong table, but still, it was soft opening and thats when those things can happen I guess. They compt us for it and also 2 drinks so I think that was ok, but I was not the one that was waiting for the burger so... I will definitely come back hungry and try again when they have been open for a while. I liked the ambiance and I love the neighborhood as well.

The server Anna made the experience well. The food was good but overwhelming, I understand the concept but it wasn't really needed. The self serv bar was beyond excellent, the servers kept the area clean and full . Im going to give it another try , we went on Valentine's Day and a lot of the food was out . The drinks were very heavy on the liquor so they weren't that enjoyable. But I will give it another try at a better time .

There is discounted parking if you park at a Metropolis lot. I parked in the Pinnacle building, which is adjacent but you have to walk around due to the construction.

We started off with a round of champagne and a bottle of red wine for dinner. We tried a variety of dishes since we were told that the set up is family style: Hamachi Crudo: 10/10 one of the best I've ever had! Super fresh and the sauce paired well with it. Bluefin Tune Crudo: 8/10 It was really fresh and well prepared, but I've had better elsewhere. I typically prefer bluefin tuna sashimi or nigiri anyway. Tuna Crispy Rice: 9/10 This was such a fun and delicious way to eat spicy tuna! All of the seasonings made it packed full of flavor. Tomahawk Ribeye 9/10: This was insanely tender, and well seasoned. Tip: ask for lemon wedges to sprinkle some lemon juice on it--thank me later. Broccolini 8/10: well prepared, and I loved the lemongrass garlic chili that topped it East Side Shrimp 7/10: These were well cooked and well seasoned. Loved the salad placed underneath it. Wagyu Tartare 8/10: It was well prepared and loved that it's paired with nori and rice. Wished it had a bit more punch to it in terms of seasoning. Crab Fried Rice 8/10: this was delicious but still say it's a solid 8. Beautifully prepared! Korean Hot Wings 2.5/10: I could tell that it was well cooked, but it was insanely salty; it was practically inedible. Hurricane Fries 9/10: These were so delicious! You are immediately hit with the smell of truffle, which made my mouth water. Packed with flavor! Brussels 7/10: These were well roasted, but the sauce was a tad too sweet for my liking. I highly recommend trying this place out!

By the bar we got to see some of the dishes being made. Great date night spot. Limited parking. This is a tapas spot and our serve did a good job recommending how many dishes to get. The only reason Noko is not getting 5 stars is because the server said that they would time out the dishes for us, so it was best to place our entire order all at once. However, we got 3 dishes and then it took about 30 minutes for other two to come out. Maybe we were eating too fast but felt like we were waiting a while for our food. The food itself was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we ordered that I did not like. Some favorites include the burnt ends lettuce wraps and Korean chicken wings. The Sando, shrimp and tuna crispy rice was also spectacular. The tuna was so flavorful and refreshing on the tuna crispy rice. The sauce of the east side shrimp really makes the dish. I'm not a huge shrimp person but this was really good. This is a must go to spot in Nashville and would definitely want to come back.

Nashville became a clear exception to the rule, delivering a world class, contemporary steakhouse experience into Nashville's more traditional steak scene. Yes, the views are remarkable. Egyptian born celebrity chef Michael Mina has unquestionably become a restaurant mogul at this stage in his career and winning two Michelin stars in his flagship San Francisco restaurant. Expanding into Nashville, he did something truly extraordinary: creating a modern steakhouse concept that delivers on par to the best traditional steak joints of America, but with unique twists and in a special atmosphere. I mixed and matched the sauces but my favorite was the spicy ranch. -Tuna rolls: okay, overpowered by pepper and greens. Unexpected tempura crunch inside each bite. -Apple salad. So good and refreshing and balanced. Tart and sweet and sour with the creamy dressing. -Brussels sprouts: tasted of sweet char and citrus. In my opinion the large strands of saffron were unnecessary and I would have gladly traded them for $10 off of our astronomical bill, haha. -Scallops: Perfect sear and perfect tenderness but a little too salty -Crab bernaise: just ok. Found a shell. A little sweet and too much rich bernaise for the portion of crab, unless pairing it with a bite of steak. -Angus filet: we enjoyed this beefy tender cut, but it wasn't anything special for the price. -Wagyu Denver cut (chef's choice of the night): probably the most tender, juicy, and flavorful bite of steak I've ever tried. And I've had A5 Wagyu countless times. For the price, this could be worth reserving for the most special of occasions. Sauce trio: -Chimichurri - so good and sour in the best way, just like a pickle. -Wine Jus - really balanced and thicker than expected. A perfect sauce for steak. Better than traditional steak sauce flavor. -Peppercorn - deep flavor development and more complex than I expected. -Crème brûlée: I don't know how we managed to eat this after indulging in all the other food, but it was utter perfection. Although the views are unparalleled and the service wonderful, the prices are just not worth it in my opinion. We also arrived promptly for our reservation and were directed to a central table within minutes. Despite ordering quickly after being seated, our steaks didn't arrive until 90 minutes after our reservation time. By that time we were ravenous so maybe that's what made those steaks so good.

Our service was prompt and patient with the little ones, but do yourself a favor and go without them when you can, so you can take your time and really enjoy such a pretty restaurant and solid cuisine!

Expect about $300 per couple for a dining experience that offers many unique twists! For instance, the bread service comes with a candle made of beef tallow which turns into a dip as the wick burns down. The tomahawk is seared table-side with a torch, as is the crème brûlée! And it's a rare place that offers the elusive Chateaubriand steak. They even have four-pound loaded baked potatoes. And that's not to mention Nashville's most expensive dish, their signature $1,800 extravaganza for two including a tomahawk steak and a rare cognac. Harper's is undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. The calamari is a highlight, a little salty for my taste but one of the best versions in town. The French onion soup is worth trying, its Havarti and Swiss combination beautifully finishing the top! Knowing the countless steak options were all solid choices, I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried elk for the first time since Harper's offers such exotic choices. And it was pretty good. But there's no question the Argentinian Chimichurri saved it. The beef tallow fries are also decent. And yes, the crème brûlée is magnificent!

It's my last night in Nashville so I want to go to a bang zoom restaurant. A few of my co workers have said to me: Mr Bill, we see every night you're going out to some amazing spots. Mind if we tag along? Sure, the rules are to keep your fork outta my plate when we sit down. Deal? The restaurant is very large, we're shown to our table. Set in the middle of the dining room and facing the bar. The bar can seat at least 25 people, the restaurant is set up for fun. To get our party started, I ordered a well crafted cocktail: Tea'd Up Old Fashioned Made with Bourbon, Black Tea and House Barrel Aged Bitters. Funky?? Oh yeah I'm with a bunch of Military Veterans and they're telling me their crazy stories. I'm sippin' my Old Fashioned and taking it all in, we need to bond over drinks and crazy things we all drank overseas. As an adult, I can appreciate my Nashville TN Old Fashioned with Black Tea. While we're talking, our waitress drops off a plate of homemade biscuits. The biscuits are fire! Buttery, flakey and moist, The Southern Steak & Oyster can make a damn good biscuit. Next, my Gumbo comes to me. The first taste I can tell this is a chef'd up dish. Better than anything I had in New Orleans. This gumbo is filled with Andouille, Crawfish, Shrimp and Fried Okra. Very flavorful indeed. My last entree in Nashville will be Fish 'N Grits. Fresh fish topped with Spicy Tasso Ham over Sweet Potato Grits and Bacon Braised Cabbage. This is a flavorful dish, the grits are very creamy and the cook on the fish was spot on. We had a great night at The Southern Steak & Oyster, it was a pleasure to dine at your restaurant.

Really good restaurant!…read more This place does elevated Southern cooking and does it well. The menu has plenty to choose from, whether you're in the mood for fried chicken, steak, salads, oysters, meatloaf, burgers, or ribs. We started with the crab cakes and the steak biscuits. I absolutely LOVED the steak biscuits, very tender steak on a light, fluffy biscuit. The crab cake was a touch too fishy for my taste, but the cheddar biscuits more than made up for it. Those things are to die for. For my main I got the ribs with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. The ribs were amazing and the mashed potatoes were just as good. The Brussels sprouts were really good too, I just wish they'd been a little crispier. Overall, a really good spot. Will definitely be back!

Coming in by myself on a weeknight, while in town for business, I sat at the bar and the staff at the bar took great care of me. The piano man on top of the bar was playing great music. The venue is nicely, eclectically decorated too! I started with a Kettle One up with a Twist and it was great... Some of their shrimp cocktail to go with it was a great pairing! The shrimp was huge and prepared perfectly! The cocktail sauce was very nice, but I like extra horseradish, which they happily provided. Next up was their Prime Skirt Steak and the sides I chose was their creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked to a perfect temperature and the chimichurri was so very tasty with it! The mashed potatoes were nice. The creamed spinach looked beautiful and the texture was spot-on, but it had slightly too much nutmeg in it - Still, I enjoyed it. I wanted to save room for dessert though because I was yearning for their Butter Pie, which I ordered eventually. The butter pie definitely didn't disappoint! I enjoyed my experience and will continue to seek out and enjoy Jeff Ruby joints when I travel!

We also had the bacon which was delicious but had too much pepper. For dinner me and my uncle both had the Filet, we both thought it was over seasoned. My Aunt had the skirt steak, that was so over salted that she couldn't eat it, we all tried a piece, it was awful!!!! My wife had the lobster tail that was fantastic. They did take back the steak. During the dinner my wife ordered a white sangria, it came was Orange had an orange in it was not a sangria or the worst one ever. This she did drink cause we had already sent back the other two Items. Our server Aubry was great and so was his assistant Will. The manager did come over after the steak was sent back and did take off the bisque and the steak and little extra from the bill. I had a Stella the glass was cold. So if you want a good lobster with bacon and beer it's a good restaurant. But don't spend your money on anything else..

My fiancé and I are getting married next week, and they surprised us with complimentary champagne, which was such a nice touch. We started with the lobster bisque and the Caesar salad. The Caesar was your standard salad, nothing that stood out, but the lobster bisque was rich, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights. They also had a great selection of cocktails and beer to choose from. For our main we split a NY Strip with mashed potatoes. Now I'm usually a ribeye guy, but I have to say this steak was cooked to perfection. It melted in your mouth, and the butter they used was spectacular. The mashed potatoes were a touch dry for my taste, though my fiancé loved them. The best part might be the atmosphere. You can feel the history the moment you walk in, and the live piano playing in the background ties the whole experience together. We will absolutely be back!

The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!

I really liked the decor, the space was very pretty and had a great atmosphere. I ordered the blackened redfish. It felt very heavily seasoned , almost like the seasoning was the main flavor, and I couldn't really taste anything else. The seasoning was delicious, but I would have liked to experience more of the actual dish and ingredients. The sauce was good, and the mashed potatoes underneath were a nice touch. Service was okay, although I would have appreciated being checked on a little more often. I also asked for a cup of sparkling water but received and was charged for a large bottle, even though I was dining alone.
