The potatoes were noticeably undercooked, the corn was stale, and the egg had a strange rubbery texture. I didn't bother trying the sausage. The shrimp was tough, and the crab seemed old and lacked flavor despite the seasoning. Overall, the flavor felt more oil/butter-based than seasoned throughout the seafood, especially compared with similar seafood spots. Since everything comes pre-seasoned, there's also very little customization. My mom can't have salt or pepper and normally gets plain seafood with butter, but that wasn't an option here. The restaurant itself is clean and nice, but the food was not worth nearly $100 for two platters. I had considered trying this place before and noticed it was always empty. I should have trusted that first impression. The flavor is not bad for the seasoning but the food itself left a lot to be desired. We came here for late dinner, 8.30 and this place was not packed which is very surprising, bc they play music jazz music, and you can have a lovely dinner and still hear ppl talk. But the best thing is their pork chop !!! This is a must get. Thank me later. We got the pork chop medium well bc we like our pork more cooked bc ain't no one trying to get salmonella from undercooked pork. But it was sooo good, has a nice char on the outside, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, it sits on top of a bed of allegedly "rice" according to our server. But to me, it reminded me of a tendon brisket texture. I would've bet money on it too. But delicious with sweet peach sauce that came with it. For the prime rib, it was a huge cut of meat, but it was lacking flavor, needed some more salt and some rosemary to bring out the meat. Both main dishes can serve 2 people each, so worth the price and food. Definitely come back! And a shout out to our server Cole, who was great

The service alone is worth going again.

For months, one of my friends kept insisting we go to her "Vietnamese crawfish boil place." I love…read moreVietnamese food and I love seafood, so I was curious, but I had never eaten crawfish and certainly never done this fusion style of boil. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. We finally got the plan out of the group chat and into real life for a girls' night on Sunday. Parking is limited but easy right in front, if you come on the earlier side (which we did). Our Vietnamese friend was running late, so my other friend and I placed the order off a very explicit text from her. We did a make-your-own boil: four pounds of crawfish and two pounds of shrimp in Cajun garlic butter, plus red and green sauces on her advice. One tip I wish we'd known going in: there's a Vietnamese menu and an American menu, and we ordered off the American one. The boil wasn't as spicy as we'd hoped, but it still had plenty of flavor and a decent kick. If you're spice averse, the Cajun garlic butter is still a safe bet with a lot of depth of flavor. The food came fast and took over the entire table. A huge tray of crawfish, shrimp, corn, and potatoes arrived with gloves, a trash can, and a spread of fixings to add more spice and flavor, if you so choose. It is messy and we replaced our gloves and trash can about halfway through. It is also SO incredibly satisfying to crack a shell and eat the meat straight out of it, dripping in butter and whatever seasoning you've mixed up. You work for every bite, which somehow makes the indulgence feel earned. As a first-timer, I'd say crawfish tastes a little like lobster, and I honestly liked it more. Everything tasted extremely fresh, which I suspect is why this place has a following. When our friend arrived, she added two orders of grilled scallops from the Vietnamese menu. They come in the shell with butter, fresh herbs, and breadcrumbs, and they were outstanding, an absolute must-order item. She called all of this the "appetizer" portion of the meal. The main event, apparently, was three bowls of Vietnamese udon soup: a heaping bowl of rich broth with aromatics, pork, crab, and shrimp. It was deeply flavorful and a great complement to the boil. The broth really soothed my allergies and I appreciated that the seafood boil was not a salt bomb like other boils I've been to. We finished nearly all the boil and every scallop, then took at least half of each soup home. With tax and tip, it came to about $99 per person for the three of us. For this much seafood at this quality, that's a great deal. I'm already planning my next visit and have told everyone I know. (Literally, lol, even friends who don't live in Nashville heard me raving about this spot!) Street Brothers is a hidden gem in Paragon Mills off Nolensville Road, and one of the best meals I've had in Nashville in a long while!

I liked how it was nice and high quality food and drinks, without being too fancy. That makes it so much easier to enjoy a good meal without dressing to the Ts. I opted out of getting a drink this time, but they had three Floyd's canned beer which my boyfriend ordered. It was good and they did serve it with a glass which is always appreciated. We both ordered the grouper sandwich (mine with no bun) and then shared the hamachi crudo. The crudo was delicious, but the hibiscus sauce was slightly over powering in my opinion. I really liked the sauce, I just prefer to be able to taste the fish a little bit more. The fish itself was very good. The group was huge! (Yes we both ate the entire thing). That "Florida sauce" they serve with it is a game changer. Might have to order more to go next time. Definitely will be back to Fishmonger! This time with a reservation!

No reservation? Don't worry, you may be able to grab a seat at the beautiful bar when you walk in. The atmosphere is fantastic. There's great music playing softly in the background, and as you look around, you realize you're dining inside a beautifully renovated old warehouse. Here's a little inside history: the building was once used to make handles for old hammers and axes. Look closely at some of the beams and you can actually see the hammer marks! Okay, enough history, let's talk drinks! I started with an Old Fashioned made with Sazerac Rye Bourbon. It was very good and served with clear ice, which is always a good sign. My only complaint? They used a red cherry instead of a Maraschino cherry. They definitely need to step up their Old Fashioned game! They also made a great Dirty Martini, or as I like to call it, a "Dirty & Skanky Martini." Now for the food! We started with the Spanish Octopus, which was absolutely delicious. The Bluefin Belly was very good, and the Corn-Milk Hush Puppies were SOOOO good! We also tried the Summer Squash, which was another great addition to the meal. For my entrees, I went with the Wild Striped Bass, WOW! Amazing flavor, and check out the Jonah Crab on top! I also tried the Grilled Swordfish with Brisket Marmalade, and that was another winner. The combination of flavors was fantastic! And I have to give a big shout-out to the service. Everyone was amazing, attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. If you're visiting Nashville, or you live here, put this place on your list! Great atmosphere, creative seafood dishes, excellent service, and some really memorable food. I'll definitely be back!
