    Caesar salad

I'm so glad I came in for some quick bits and a cocktail with a friend on a recent Friday night! The elevated space had live music and a busy bar area, which I know some people would enjoy but we found the music a tad loud so we sat at a table to distance ourselves from it a bit. We ordered dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives to start us off and they were delicious and perfectly made! They offer a happy hour but sadly we had just missed it. We ordered some items to share, the ceasar salad, burrata and strawberries and the some sushi - the inari bombs which came with crab and a nice kick of jalapeño. Everything was fresh and tasty with great service. Our server split up our salad which is always a nice touch! I definitely want to come back for happy and hour and to try more of them menu!

I visited Hall's catch for dinner twice in one week because the food was that good. The fish was fresh, the service was great, and they had a variety of items to pick from! It is on the pricier side but it as worth it. The ambience is modern and cool, a perfect dinner date location.

Me and my girls came here to catch the happy hour specials and also tried some of the other things they had on the menu. The place itself is a nice little vibe and all the staff was so welcoming and friendly. We was celebrating a friends bday and at the end of our meal they bought us a complimentary champagne. That was sweet. The food was good as well.

Hall's catch has some of the best happy hours. I truly enjoyed here. The drinks and food were great. You can get some good oysters here if you're a fan eating them raw. Valet parking optional but parking is close by to self park. Service and waitstaff were pleasant.

Lovely spot for a dinner date. The prices really weren't terrible either. My boyfriend loves oysters, so that was the main appeal. They also had live music and happy hour options.

I went to Hall's Catch for my birthday dinner, which my husband booked. From the moment we arrived, the staff was very attentive and checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent, no complaints at all. My favorite dish was the charred octopus, and I had the scallops as my entrée. The scallops were tender and so perfectly cooked they cut like butter with my fork. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, but we truly enjoyed everything we ordered. The space is stylish and intimate, though a bit on the smaller side. Valet parking is available, and I believe the first hour is included, with a fee for any additional time afterward. Overall, I'll definitely be returning to try more items from the menu.

Ate here our last night in Nashville and I thought it was really good. First, lets start with service, which was top notch. The server, the managers, the bartender and even the chef all came over to our table to talk about everything. And that was an incredible experience to see such an approach to service. Next up, the food and drinks. I have a different review in that I thought it was pretty delicious. We had the parker house rolls and the brazilian cheese bread. Both really good. My wife had the calamari frito and she enjoyed it alot. I had the ora king salmon sashimi and the fettucine and clams for my main, which was definitely larger than the appetizer it was listed as. All in all, we had a great visit to Halls Catch and I would recommend for anyone traveling to Nashville to stop in a enjoy..!

    Seafood stew with tagliatelle

Really debated giving this a 3 but in the spirit of Giving Tuesday, I'll offer it a 4. Here goes: This is a pretty new seafood restaurant in Nashville, which likes to advertise that their fish is all super fresh, has to be delivered within 1-2 days. Prices are therefore commensurate given that we are surrounded by no water (aka very expensive). First up, the valet parking outside is not based on tips; it's $17 per car which is an exorbitant amount of money. Given we don't really know where else to park in the area, we just decided to go for it but definitely wouldn't do that again! The food was just.. okay. They definitely do live up to their words; I felt like the seafood was all quite fresh and not very fishy, but the flavors and combos were kind of lacking (especially for the price). The fish and chips was probably the best thing we got (although it's not hard to mess up some fried fish and French fries). The seafood stew with tagliatelle was way too tomato-ey, just too overpowering for my taste. The grilled bread that came with it was the best part of that dish. The calamari was average - not super crispy or flavorful. The shrimp and crab cocktail was decent although not very much food. So the seafood was enjoyably fresh but for the price we paid, I expect my food to also taste great, and this just wasn't it for me.

An amazing addition to the Halls portfolio located right next to the Halls steakhouse location in midtown. Food and drinks are excellent, but the real standout is the incredible management and service from the GM, Vlad. He goes above and beyond to provide a level of service and personalization for his clientele that is rare nowadays. It's evident that his passion for his work trickles down to all of the staff members, who are beautifully attentive and detail oriented in every aspect. A true gem that you cannot miss when you are in Nashville!

My husband and I dined here for dinner. The ambiance was beautiful, and there were hints of details that tied to the sea. The customer service was superior. The server checked on us through the evening and management came by the table to check on our experience. The cons -the menu was limited and the food was lukewarm and bland .

Finally able to try this place for our anniversary. It's right next to the Chophouse which is where the GPS took us but they were kind enough to walk us over to the correct place. Once we got there you enter into a hotel lobby like area before seeing the restaurant. The ambiance is dark and very upscale. We let the front know our reason for attending and they surprised us with champagne on the house to celebrate our night. The bounty tower was worth it to me, the seafood was so fresh and I loved the opportunity to have so many seafood options especially being in Nashville. The lobster was cooked beautifully and not tough or rubbery whatsoever, never thought I'd enjoy eating lobster again! Because it was so much food, I opted for the Charred Octopus appetizer as my entree and didn't even end up finishing it because I was so full off the tower. And it was perfection with an explosion of flavors that reminded me of Indian flavors between the sauce and chickpeas. My partner got the Halibut, and I have never had a more perfectly cooked fish. It was buttery and flaky with just the right amount of sear. I wasn't a huge fan of the broth it was sitting in, I don't think it did much to enhance the fish by my partner couldn't stop raving about it. Glad we found a second place for amazing seafood. I do hope to be back!

The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. While it is one of your more expensive area stops for dinner, you will appreciate the food quality and presentation at Gannons Nashville for your next special occasion. As we settled in with the menu our questions were answered. The pretzel appetizer took a rather long time. Apparently the original portion was burned and was remade. The Jasper Burger was juicy and the bleu cheese was slightly brown and went well with the patty. I was able to swap the American cheese out for the blue. As their name implies, their seafood is fantastic, probably the best in the entire city! They have a policy that every seafood served at Eddie V's was alive in the ocean less than 36 hours prior! Anything left over is donated, which is impressive! And you can taste its incredible freshness throughout the meal! There are only 30 locations of Eddie V's in 15 states, but the quality is hardly reminiscent of chain restaurant food. It's truly exquisite! And we have very high standard having dined at Michelin-starred eateries all over the world. The scallops, lobster, and lobster bisque are easily the best in Nashville, and we've dined at every high-class restaurant Music City has to offer! The butter poached lobster mashed potatoes are incredible, extra creamy topped with buttery lobster and a beurre blanc sauce. The truffle mac is equally stupendous, with a three-cheese blend, truffle oil, and thinly shaved truffles imported from France! While most upscale restaurants tend to make a very strong truffle mac that has overpowering flavors, the chef at Eddie V's manages to make this, and all dishes, subtle and flavorful without overdoing it. Just as amazing as the seafood are the steaks. Since they had a Japanese A5 Wagyu in the building at $40 an ounce, something they don't have every night, I took advantage of that! As expected, the highest grade of Japanese beef did not disappoint, and the chef prepared it to perfection. That impossibly tender steak seasoned beautifully just meted in my mouth, probably the second best steak I've eaten in Nashville! The ponzu sauce, one of three that accompanied the steak, was delicious. The Korean inspired gochujang was also good, but maybe not perfect for this style of steak. But the wasabi paste was the winner, a perfect compliment to the beef without being very spicy, just wonderfully flavorful. Like all dishes here, they've impeccably balanced flavor with subtly! The desserts aren't bad either, but they pale in comparison to the beef, seafood, and side dishes!
