This Thai place is one of the best Thai restaurants that I've been to in Nashville. If you're looking for authentic Thai this is as close as you can get here in TN! I loved this place and visited a few times with the family I love their pad thai, crab rangoons, calamari, pine apple fried rice, and curry. Sushi rolls are good but it's a Thai restaurant makes sense to just stick with Thai dishes. The service is always 10/10 and a cute ambience

Still a fave for me. The service is attentive even on busy nights and the food is always a hit. Ambiance is cute for date night or family dinner. The music is normally quite vibey too. You can't go wrong with any sushi or Thai entree. I try to add this into my quarterly rotation for good comfort food.

this is my favorite thai restaurant east of California. son ordered kao prow which is grinded up beef and veggies. he loved it and it was tasty. as an appetizer we ordered a fresh roll. we got the last one in the store. he also ordered the tom khai soup and enjoyed it. I ordered this curry soup with shrimp, chicken, veggies, Ramen noodles, etc. it was so good. for son's birthday they gave us thai doughnuts with condensed milk icing. our waitress, "mei" was wonderful. their sushi looks beautiful!!

Sushi -- idk which roll -- they have a lot.

It's small. It's loud, but possibly only because there were some really loud talkers dining that night. Staff was friendly. My sushi came with roe, I ordered without so had to get remade. I didn't love the pad se ew as much as what I'd tasted at Thai Samurai in Franklin a few days before. But the biggest downside: I ran in from a terrifying lightning storm so I wasn't going to just turn around and leave. But when I was seated at the sushi bar, I looked up and saw a GIANT cockroach climbing on the lovely white subway tiled wall behind the sushi chef. It disappeared behind an appliance on a shelf on the wall. I told myself "every old building with commercial kitchens have some roaches" and I ordered and ate anyway. But honestly, I paid a lot of money to eat in this place -- recommended to me by a local to east Nash -- and If there hasn't been a storm still going on I'd have left. So I'm not sure how I feel but I probably won't return.

First time dining here and must say I was pleased. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Very dimly lit inside, but they have a nice deck seating area with stringed lights to give it a little flare. Food was good. You definitely get your dollars worth with the portion sizes. This would be a cute little vibey place for date night. Service was great and you received your food fairly quick.

We decided to visit on a Wednesday evening and I'm so glad we did. First off, service was prompt and the smell was amazing when you stepped in. They made the most of their space. We ordered 2 cocktails and a roll, basil fried rice w/pork and one with fried chicken. Every single dish was epic and fresh! The stars of the show for me were the roll and lychee cocktail. I look forward to visiting again very soon!

Here are some pictures I left a review earlier while dining,..... I will be back here my go to dining spot for now on the food and service was excellent here.

Super crunchy roll, Apollo roll, Alaska roll

I have visited this pace about 3 times now and the food has always been consistently good. The sushi is always fresh and although a little on the pricey side, it's worth every penny. Service was a little slow today (it took about an hour to get my sushi), but given that it was the day before a holiday it wasn't a big deal. I ordered a super crunchy roll, an Apollo roll and and an Alaska roll and it was all exceptionally delicious.

The service was great! Loved the cozy vibes and seating. We had about a 15 minute wait which wasn't bad, but there's not much room to wait so we went to our car as it was raining. I ordered the red curry and my partner got the Massaman Curry with Short ribs. His meal was definitely the star of the show with melt in your mouth meat and flavorful broth with potatoes. My red curry was flavorful but a bit too sweet for my liking lacking some of the umami spice I like with my curry. Lots of fresh veggies including broccoli, sprouts and peppers with chicken. The yellowtail sushi hit the spot!! So fresh and flavorful! Definitely some of the best sushi I've had in Nashville so far. For my drink I got the spicy marg which wasn't spicy at all unfortunately and just had a whole chili floating in the drink. I definitely will be back for some sushi and looking forward to trying some of the other dishes like the fried rice!

Salmon sashimi

We got into town pretty late and found this place on Yelp and had to try. For a Friday night, it was packed. We were able to get seated right away on the patio. Nice little breeze, only a little biting flies. We ordered red curry (no 3 spice) with chicken. It comes with a mound of rice on the side. Second dish the girls shared was the pad Thai with chicken, mild. Comes out on a GIANT bowl/plate. The best presentation we've ever seen. Flavor was good and generous amount of chicken. Third we got pho chicken. Comes with a little plate of raw vege and hoisin sauce and sriracha bottles. The broth was pretty good, not too salty, just right. Chicken was a little tough but that's expected, it being breast meat. The amazing thing we ordered was the salmon sashimi. Comes on a bed of ice and a beautiful floral shaped ice mini bowl. The slices were thick and it was the perfect temperature where it melted in your mouth. I loved the sprinkle of ikura on top, pickled radish and ginger slices. I even ate the garnish (shredded carrot and perilla leaf). We had the nicest server who was fantastic about keeping our water glasses full without us even knowing!

Really love grabbing dinner at Bite a Bit! Every so often there's a long wait on weekend nights, but I promise it's worth the wait. I really have enjoyed so many items on the menu, but especially the pad Thai. It has great flavoring and texture that makes it one of the best pad Thais in the area! Highly recommend this great neighborhood spot.

Thai Donuts!

Solid sushi and Thai spot in Inglewood with good vibes, great food, and decent drinks. I've been here four times over the last several years and it's been consistently good. Food was a tad slow on a recent January Sunday evening, but worth the wait. My daughter loved the California and Crunchy Shrimp rolls. Don't miss the Thai donuts for desert! Imagine a cinnamon roll married a biscuit had a deep fried baby that was dipped in sweetened condensed milk syrup

We had dinner at Bite A Bit in East Nashville tonight, drawn in by the promise of Thai and sushi. The place was clearly understaffed--even early in the evening--which affected both service and food quality. The sushi lands in a solid Tier 2 for Nashville (with Tier 1 being places like Kase and Sushi Bar), but still felt a bit overpriced for the quality. The crab rangoons were lukewarm by the time they reached us, and eating outside was a mistake--we spent most of the meal swatting away relentless flies. There was hundreds of flies out there....

Khaow Soi --- highly recommended

There are drinks that are refreshing/lighter and ones that are more spirit-centered. They also have small bites that are really excellent pairs to the drinks. 2 - It is very small. So if you feel like you'll land on a spot because someone popped in and just left, you might be out of luck. We were able to be seated because we came a little earlier, and I believe someone at the bar left earlier than anticipated. 3 - It's quite dark/moody. If you have a person who's weirded out by spaces like this, go somewhere else. If you can't read the menu in the darker/lower lit spaces, bring out your phone's flashlight. One thing that's GREAT about the menu is that they have it in contrasting colors (ie light paper and black ink) and the font is large. There was a spot that I went to recently where the lighting was very low and they used a dark tan font on manila colored paper. If the lighting was normal, it wouldn't have been a problem ... but in lower light, the lack of contrast was not helpful! 4 - The staff is really great. I know that I mentioned it before, but if you've ever been to places like The Aviary in Chicago or places like this, you'll feel that this is right in the same lane.

You step into a clean, medium fancy, and extremely well-decorated but still small bar with really casual vibes. There's a mix of bar-top and small tables/couches for seating, but because of the small size, this is ideal for a solo, a couple or a group of no more than 4. It was decorated for Christmas when i came but the normal vibe seems more European punk, and I love the purple-green lighting -- hope that's always around! I loved the ambiance in here, it's upbeat, you can tell the bartenders have regulars and are friendly to chat with, and overall feels like it's a fun spot, even just walking inside. I came solo for a nightcap after dinner and was able to walk in and grab a seat at the bar. Service was just two bartenders for the whole place (which was about 3/4 full), but they were both pretty quick in providing me a menu. The menu is pretty large - almost 4-5 pages purely of cocktails, but also a few options for wine, beer, NA and extremely light bites food (wouldn't plan on having a full meal here.) I opted for two drinks off their signature cocktails list: Dolce Inverno (pistachio liqueur, vodka) and the Smoke n' Cider (apple brandy, cinnamon, smoke). Both drinks were pretty enjoyable, particularly the Smoke n' Cider which had a nice presentation to smoke the drink and also just great flavor. I do think these seem on par with other cocktail spots in east, but maybe not my top tier craft cocktail spots overall for Nashville. Service was super friendly and I think I enjoy the vibes here even more than the actual drinks. Having a small private parking lot is a huge plus, because otherwise parking would be a bit difficult as there aren't many options for street parking near here. This would be an awesome spot to catch up with a friend or just people watch solo, and I'm certain to be back!

In the spirit of getting out and making an effort to explore my new city I decided to find a place to go and enjoy a solo date night and grab a fancy drink. You know the vibes a Carrie Bradshaw moment but make it Nashville style. I found this place via instagram and read all the great reviews and decided to get out and try it. A cozy place tucked and hidden in the heart of east Nashville. It is somewhat hidden with a small parking area but I was fortunate enough to get parking right in front. I walked in and the decor is pops of red and black mixed with gold. The light is dim so it's a perfect date night spot or place to meet and have an intimate small group gathering. It wasn't busy and I enjoyed that there wasn't too many people. The vibes are relaxed and I was greeted right away. Checking out the menu I decided on a spicy margarita concoction with tajin. The bartender brought it out and it was the perfect blend of flavor, spice and alcohol. It was refreshing and sweet/spicy. Perfect. This place is the perfect solo date night spot or date spot with your special someone or catch up sessions with friends. I enjoyed sitting, sipping and writing this review. Solo dates can be daunting and being in a new city can be daunting as well but finding hidden gems like this make it worth while. If you're lucky, you might get a seat around a real wood fireplace. If I could suggest one thing to Urban Cowboy it would be to provide blankest to those sitting outside without the fire place. I believe they do have blankets set out but I was unsure if I could take them so I just left them on the chair. I think it would be better to have an area with a sign saying "blankets for guests" or something along the lines. I always get a dirty martini at Urabn Cowboy. Located in East Nashville away from the widespread tourist traps of Broadway, the bed and breakfast is in a cooler, mostly residential neighborhood, and it has its own "public house" separate from the main house but connected by a popular yard with lots of seating. The night we went was warm, and there were plenty of people in the pub, but the loud rap music playing over the speakers didn't seem to fit the vibe of the thoughtful interior design at all to me. I should note I would feel the same if they were blasting the same country top 40 as the spots on Broad or regular top 40, and I know, to some, it's a petty thing, and the staff probably play what they want, but as far as ambiance goes, that was the only negative thing I remember feeling at the time, and because it was audio, it was inescapable. If the music had been a bit lower or had been instrumental, I think it would have been a more immersive experience. We got nice drinks in the parlor bar and enjoyed the music room, and the visual aspect was lovely. I wished I'd had more time to spend there. Perhaps there'll be a "next time."
