This is one of my favorite places in Nashville! Waterfront is always a winner in my book!Casual fun atmosphere. Service is always good. We love Alicia she was very attentive and fun. The food is delicious and there is something for everyone even if you have food allergies. They have added some new menu items this year, the white cheddar grits are amazing! And definitely check out the Port O' Call cocktail it's delicious and boozy lol. Thank me later!

Waitress spilled two full drinks of sangria all over me and my shoes. Thankfully I was able to wipe the leather mostly clean after lots of scrubbing under the table. She said she was sorry and nothing else was said. No management came over. No compensation was taking off the check. They literally didn't even clean up the floor. They just made us step in it the whole night. I've had entire tables covered before just for a waitress spilling a water on someone. The least this place could have done was clean the floor. Ridiculous service here.

Different day, same wonderful service, delicious food, and beautiful weather! Such a great spot to slow down, relax, feel the breeze and enjoy a yummy meal.

Had a lovely dinner on the patio at Blue Moon. My wife and I split a nice bottle of wine and chipotle peach glazed wings to starter and both were fabulous. I had the blackened mahi sandwich and she had the house salad add salmon. Both were very good. Our server was delightful, informative and very good. What can I say beautiful views great food and service

Wow! Talk about an incredible waterfront restaurant. As a Nashville resident, it's easy to get used to waiting and overcrowding, but you can let that all go at Blue Moon. I visited Blue Moon at peak dinner time on a Friday evening and had the absolute best experience. There were several large parties that showed up just before my boyfriend and I, but the restaurant staff worked hard to get everyone seated very quickly. I was very impressed with how speedy the service was. Food was quick, drinks were great, the view was amazing and the ducks were too cute! Our waiter was kind and on top of his game. The manager was working hard to keep everything clean and presentable and I noticed her helping to clean tables and prep for the next group frequently. She even made rounds to ensure everyone was enjoying their visit. We had the poke appetizer, blackened mahi mahi tacos, and pick two dinner (blackened salmon and coconut shrimp). As well as the Summer Lick and In the Shayd drinks. The food was so fresh and absolutely delicious, prepared to perfection! And the drinks were amazing and refreshing. This experience was truly one of the best I've had since moving here and for a bit I felt like I wasn't even in Nashville but a waterfront oasis. I will 110% be back!

Tucked away on the west side of Nashville. Enjoyable outdoor dining right on the water. Went for Sunday brunch and enjoyed our meal. I ordered biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were a little overdone and tough to break apart at times. Gravy was flavorful and potato's were great! My partner ordered eggs Benedict. Overall decent, poached eggs were not runny. Service was good and attentive! Truly enjoy the spot for good service and environment. Great spot to get drinks and sit outdoors.

What a fabulous way to end the day great views dockside at Blue Moon ! We had a very good meal great Service from Megan and beautiful views. We started with the Tuna poke appetizer very fresh and very tasty! I had the blackened shrimp tacos and my wife had the blackened Mahi Sandwich both very good as well! A bottle wine and the sunset you can't go wrong! We will return as i am sure it will only get better as the season goes as they have just reopened for the summer.

Came here on a whim after looking for a place nearby. It was cool outside so sat out under the sails. Plenty of seating outside and in. Staff was very nice and attentive. Got the kahlua and cream French toast with a side of eggs. French toast was delicious and would definitely recommend. The scrambled eggs on the other hand were not good. I don't know if they were made from powdered eggs or were just old, but they were rubbery and had no flavor. I'll stick to the French toast next time.

On one visit with only a few of us there our bartender disappeared for a good 20 minutes. Upon his return he was focused on everything but the 5 of us in the place until we finally had to ask to get service. The other visit everyone helped me but the actual server. Maybe this is a staffing problem, I don't know but being stuck for 20 minutes to order another drink with my meal is not acceptable. Although they had that check in my hand in under a minute and in under another minute to process. Again, super nicer people, but kind of oblivious. 2) Now let's talk about the kitchen. And I'm adding some input from the other diners because we all sat there waiting. - flavors are great, but the salt and spice level is overboard. I had the mushroom appetizer and nearly choked/coughed to death. I like heat but this was raw spice that overpowered the dish. And the salt about made my feet swell into balloons. Such a shame because the idea is great just poor execution - deviled eggs. Pass - BBQ Shrimp, sort of like the mushrooms right profile but overpowering - gumbo. Two other people had the gumbo and when I asked they said that too is just over spiced I want to like this place, but probably my last visit unless I just come for oysters. Sorry

This place was a wonderful little experience. We were greeted with the sign outside, "Enter as Strangers and Leave as Friends," which is one of my life philosophies. We got there right at opening, so we got seated first along with one of their years-long regulars. A friendly local lady who provided us with pleasant conversation until the next patrons arrived, who were seated right next to us at the same table, family style. Then the next people, then the next. Sitting, talking, passing the food around the table. It was a nice experience. And the ambiance was nice, too. Plain, wooden chairs, white tile flooring, vintage holiday decor, it was like being in a grandma's house. Very comforting. The food came out one or two dishes at a time. Everything was good enough, but it also was apparent that it was mass produced in a catering style. The basics like the bacon and ham were very good, but the fried chicken, I wouldn't take a big piece, save your stomach room for other things. Whatever other things you grab, make sure you grab a biscuit and get ahold of their homemade peach preserves. That stuff was 10/10 excellent. It's so good, they jar it and sell it at the front desk. I totally recommend. Overall, breakfast is one of the most important meal of the day, so if you find yourself in Nashville, I would implore you to come and check out this city staple of over 30 years now.

The place felt lively and fun, and there's also a small outdoor patio that fills up quickly. We ended up sitting at the bar (which we had reserved). Btw, they have a small complimentary parking lot next door plus a paid lot across the street, which is convenient. I had heard so much hype about the food, but for me it didn't totally live up to it. The biscuits were overly salty and not something I wanted to finish. The cold shrimp with blood orange was an interesting combo that I surprisingly liked. I ordered the steak and while it was cooked perfectly, the portion felt small for the price. It also came with broccolini and a really good sauce. Although our bartender/server was super attentive and friendly, it did take a very long time for our entrées to come out. He even had to go check on them and ended up bringing the food back themselves. Unfortunately, mine was honestly a little lukewarm. Overall, it was just mid for me. I wouldn't rush back, but I'd go again if someone else really wanted to try it.

We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. And what better place to experience such a moment than Hattie B's, a local family fun institution. Started in 2012 by a father and son duo, this is the original location of the establishment despite many other outposts now present through the southern US. Now, back to the spice level. Beyond the standard selections, there are extreme variants like Damn Hot! and Shut the Cluck Up! That's where things get really interesting, because survival instincts always get tested when things are not standard. Those levels are not for the faint of heart. The hot chicken here is legitimately phenomenal regardless of level chosen and the tenders are the most famous cut. The pimento Mac and cheese and the bacon grits are not to be missed as sides. Maybe, just maybe, what separates Hattie B's is the mom and pop feeling of the establishment despite becoming ridiculously popular with tourists. Once at the counter, it was fast and easy to place orders, customized to your preference, and then pay and find a seat. We chose to sit out on the covered deck that was sealed up to avoid the elements. It did rain lightly while we ate, so it was nice to be protected and cozy while still enjoying the outdoors. Food was brought to the table and we all agreed the chicken and various sides were delicious. Everything was seasoned well, and hot items were hot and cold items were cold. Counter staff and food runners were all friendly and efficient. Noise level was mild to moderate and temperature was doable after the rain shower. Will be glad to return when visiting Nashville again to repeat order the chicken and also try new menu side items.
