The egg roll was mushy and small for $3 -- would not recommend. The crab Rangoon was as expected... fine but skimpy on the crab (not necessarily unusual). We came here for a birthday and she wanted to try this place out. The place is beautiful and it's a pretty small place. There's probably 15 tables, including 2 tables that can hold 8-9 people. The service was mostly the reason for the deducted stars. We felt we had to ask her twice for things and would wait 10-15 minutes for her to come back with it. The place was very busy though. The pan noodles were good and the orange chicken had a nice kick. The buns were good, but I think 3 buns for $12 was overkill. Most only gave 3-4 dumplings for $12-$14. That's steep... Home Run! This is a gotta-go-to restaurant. The table service was outstanding. The menu required some instructions, which the server took the time to walk through the ordering process. Also, they have a robot that'll deliver food to your table. How awesome is that? Though dining here is expensive, the food is outstanding. We ordered several different dumplings, egg-drop soup, a shared entrée and dessert. We would probably forego the soup for another choice on our next visit because it didn't stand out. The entrée we shared was Mongolian chicken, which has a kick. It's delicious though. For dessert, we took the server's recommendation and tried their mango pancakes. Wow! It's a crepe cake with dozens of layers of paper-thin crepes lightly flavored with mango creme. It's mild and delicious. I recommend it! Also, if your mouth is burning from accidentally biting into one of those red peppers from hell that provides the heat to the Mongolian dish, this dessert is an instant life saver. I know. The ambiance is far above any restaurant in the area. You simply have to experience it yourself. Even if the food was terrible, which it isn't, you'd still want to visit just to appreciate the decor. My wife and I stopped here for lunch, and it was a great decision. It took a while for our waitress to come over even though it wasn't even close to full, but she apologized, and it was all good afterward. Food was great, service was ok, atmosphere was cute but it was pretty small with tables very close together. There are no paper menus including for the bar drinks. We ordered dumplings, beef flat noodles, spicy chili wontons, and spicy beef soup. The food had a great flavor and presentation. The lychee martini was very good, sweet but not too sweet. Also ordered an old fashioned and it looked like they put grenadine in it, definitely did not taste right. The server was very nice, but the timing and experience was very disappointing. My drink came out 6-7 minutes before the other drink. Then when our main food came out my noodles were out and on the table and the other persons soup took over 12 minutes longer than my meal. Love this place. I had a great experience last Saturday when I came for a quick bite to eat. I was by myself and my waitress was so sweet. I wish I would have grabbed her name. The regular siu mai is good but the fish siu mai is too bland, pan fried pork buns are quite good. HK beef flat noodles, full of wok hei, Cantonese approved. Wow! What an experience! We had an amazing time at Juicy Dumplings! We were visiting from Salt Lake and Vegas to celebrate my sister's 40th birthday. Our family loves Chinese food. She was craving dim sum and specifically congee. Let me tell you they did not disappoint. The ambiance was fun and festive and welcoming. The music was great (but a little on the loud side). We arrived at 10a when they opened and were immediately greeted with friendly service. The service only got better the longer we were there. We ordered quite a bit of food, drinks and coffee. They were timely with their service, food was authentic and delicious and they even accommodated my dad's specific diet requests. We don't always find that easy. And we RARELY find service this good. Maybe this is how it's done in Texas but really they seemed to go above and beyond! My only two regrets were missing karaoke being we were there so early and living so far away. If you aren't familiar with traditional dim sum, this place will be great. If you are, the closest comparison I can give is that this is fast food dim sum. We got the scallion pancakes, hot and sour soup, steamed pork dumplings, fried beef dumplings, and siu mai. Our waitress messed up and brought us the chicken mushroom fried dumplings, which we didn't realize until everything arrived (note that they didn't charge us for them despite the fact we'd unknowingly eaten them, which was nice). Out of everything, the siu mai were BY FAR the tastiest item. The restaurant was busier than expected for 130 on a Sunday, though I'm sure holiday shopping drove that up. We were glad to have a reservation. Ambiance is pretty lively and the inside features a long wall of screens. They do have a bar though didn't provide a drink menu. We got 4 different items. Hot Chili Wonton - Super delicious, I would come back just for this. It says spicy but it wasn't super spicy definitely has a hint. Pork Dumplings - These were good as well, definitely recommend trying. Har Gow (dimsum) - This was okay, the wrapper tore apart easily so we had to eat it piece by piece. Chicken Pad Thai - I would say this pad Thai is a little different compared to most Pad Thai's I've tried, the server mentioned the noodle were hand made and it cooked a little longer. This is one of my new favorite restaurants in the area. I went with a friend and dined in person. I was not expecting the decor when we walked in. The giant screens making it appear like you're in an aquarium is unique and fun. We ordered the soup dumplings and they were delicious. They had good flavor. We also ordered the dumpling sampler and compared to the soup dumplings, we wouldn't order this dish again. The dumpling sampler was on the bland side in comparison and the dough seemed off. This is a little unfortunate since the name implies they specialize in dumplings. However, everything else made up for the lack luster dumpling sampler. The menu is vast and we had a hard time choosing an entree. We decided to split the Dan Dan Mian. This dish was addicting / the flavors in the sauce had us coming back for more even though we were full. Service was attentive throughout. I went back a second time - but this time I ordered take out. I was having issues placing my order through the website, so I downloaded the app. It was easy from there. I ordered the soup dumplings again and this time got the spicy beef noodle soup. The dumplings were just as good at home as dining in. They did get a little cold but I expected that. The soup though - really surprised me. Initially I thought it was a little over priced. But it had better quality ingredients than many of the other Asian restaurants ramen and pho that I have had in the area. Also, the flavor was bolder and overall was just a better soup. She told me how they would arrange the tables and she could most definitely accommodate us. So I made a reservation 48 hours in advance. I confirmed the reservation the following day through yelp. When we all arrived there was not one table ready for us and we needed 5 tables. My whole party had to wait 30 mins before we were even seated. We had 19 people and only one server we all received tap water with no ice and no refills for the whole night. We had 5 little kids with us and we didn't leave until 10:45 due to lack of service in everyone. I received many messages from quest whole attended the party saying they spotted by a drive through on the way home because they needed something to drink and the food was not good. Came here for my mom's birthday as it's a new place but instantly became one of her favorites when she went a week prior. The inside is amazing giving you an aquarium like feel where the animals move throughout the restaurant. It's a fairly large place as well. The food is very good and they offer a large variety on the menu. However, the wait time and service were lacking. We had a reservation but waited 30 minutes to be sat at a table that wasn't for 5 people and had to have a chair pulled up that wasn't in the aisle so people continuously passed close by. Our waiter took a long while just to bring out water and don't get me started on the drink order. The saving grace, despite the food taking a long while, was the food. It came out hot and delicious.
