Always here for the quality of juices but my recent visit here fell short of the usual standard. I understand withholding services a couple minutes till close but to shut down the juicers 20 minutes prior - at a place that specializes in juices, is not good business. So instead of leaving empty handed I opted in for a smoothie, but the kale i paid a $1 for, was missing. After calling the store and speaking with the manager in the morning, i was reassured when they said they'd refund me the drink given they too were disappointed to hear about the early shut down of the juicer and missed item. But it's now been almost a week and the charge hasn't been refunded nor have I heard back from anyone. Overall, I've had great experiences at other locations but with this one in particular, I just recommend you check your order before leaving the store so you're not disappointed with paying for something you didn't receive after not being able to get what you originally wanted. read more

Wow, wow, wow! Being here feels like you stepped into 1980something, a great decade, and were served up a really good juice. I ordered the Recovery Punch: watermelon, pineapple, beet, lime, coconut water & sea salt. You can taste all the ingredients but the beet is slightly more noticeable. We also ordered the Vegetable Collective which contains apple, mango, cauliflower, cherry, beet, carrot, lemon, hemp protein, coconut oil, turmeric, spinach, and spirulina. Although this drink isn't the prettiest, it's still delicious all the same. The staff is very helpful in explaining their menu, very informative. I love Juiceland, and if you're ever attempting to do work while sipping on a smoothie or juice, this location is where you want to be...it's bigger than the White Oak and Kirby locations and has a few outlets for you to plug in your laptop if needed. They also have records for you to peruse through while you're waiting for your drink, and different food/snack options if you're hungry. The people who work here are super nice and helpful with recommendations on what to get or what to potentially substitute in a drink. For parking, I would recommend trying to get a spot on the Yupon side, as opposed to the Westheimer side because it's a real pain (and pretty dangerous) trying to back out onto Westheimer when you're leaving. There's some parking on nearby side streets too if you can't find anything in the spots right outside of the shop. read more

My first time and I'm not disappointed. I got the liquid gold and it's turmeric, lemon and ginger.... And it's such a good blend of juices. I also got the b12 shot which tastes like disgusting, BUT Its only been 5 min since consumption and I def have energy. So well worth the terrible taste. Besides knowing tumeric has a naturally awful taste, paired together with the carrot it was good! As a drink I got a smoothie Ta Tonka and added blue berries. The lady explained the difference between pea protein and whey protein in the drink and I went for the pea which was thicker and tastier. The drink also had bananas, strawberries and peanut butter. I was craving something healthy after a week of Thanksgiving indulgence. I'd seen JuiceLand as I drove by and waking up Sunday morning I decided that's exactly what I was in the mood for for so off I went. It was pretty early and there was just 1 other customer. You can also order ahead which is great. The inside is funky and decked out in 70s style. Lots of bright colors, a disco ball, etc... Ya, it's a little hokey but who cares? I ordered the Honey Beary for my husband and the Vegetable Kingdom for me, both medium. The medium size is adequate for a light breakfast but I was hungry again after a few hours. If you intend to use it as a total meal replacement you may want to get a large. My smoothie was not a very appealing color (mud brown) but it was delicious and really fresh tasting. I'm obsessed with the halleberry açaí bowls (bananas and goji berries) and their mocha coffee (a bit too powdery though) ---I haven't tried anything else bc every time I come here I get the same thing. Okay, I can't mask my excitement that there is FINALLY a juiceland here. I lived in Austin for four years so Juiceland had become a staple for me. When i moved back to Houston a year ago, i thought i would only have it as a treat when I went to Austin. But alast, I can go back to incorporating. Everything in this shop is fresh! This one definitely has a unique "hipster" feel with the vinyl records and the unique paintings on the walls. But I had an awesome experience. There's a young lady who works in there who was extremely helpful when i was looking for a particular drink. I also brought a friend whom she helped decide on something as well. I ended up getting a Hawaii Five with strawberries. Delicious! There a vegan drinks, glutten free drinks, they also have shots, smoothies, etc. All natural and fresh ingredients. oh and the additional strawberries was not extra either! So that was also a win! Cool hip juice joint!! I ordered the peachy green because I'm a suckered for peach flavored drinks. The gf ordered the lemon ginger drop and the Vegetable Kingdom. I'm not a big fan of eating ginger or ginger flavored drinks but I have to say the ginger lemon drop isn't so bad. I was actually able to sip on it, mainly for the immune boost. I liked the peachy green, a bit sweet and tangy, you could hardly taste the spinach and kale (a good thing)!! Now for the vegetable Kingdom, not really my kind of drink but the gf likes it. The beet gives it that earthy (dirt flavor) taste. The prices were decent, some juices were more on the expensive end. The service was great and friendly. I love this place so much, but it has come to my attention that this new manager named Nadia is nothing but rude. The love-hate relationship with Montrose continues with JuiceLand. The ambiance is very funky with records and products for sale throughout the juice bar. The menu is pretty unique so expect any juice you get to have its own unique flavor (unless you decide to make your own) The only reason this place isn't getting 5 stars is because it's in Montrose so that means parking is limited and you hope you get lucky and traffic getting there is never fun with the construction. They are pretty decent in taste but the toppings aren't the best. Everything was fine till I saw one employee reach in the ice maker with their bare hand and put the ice in my cup and then reach in my cup with their hand and remove some of the ice and put it back in the machine. I ended up ordering the Honey Beary that comes with bananas, blueberries, honey, and just the right amount of peanut butter. I really enjoyed that it was thick and creamy cold and just tasted really fresh. They have a large selection of smoothie types that all sound really delicious. I don't love bananas so I've always had difficulty at smoothie places since most smoothies contain bananas. Anything that doesn't have bananas is usually berry based and pretty tart, but not here!
