Austin airport opposite to gate 16. Long line but since I had heard the good reviews about it and I had plenty of time to kill and was in mood of something healthy and refreshing. I stood in the long line, one server who was cashier and juicer and everything so it was a slow move. Tons of great options and everything looks good so we decided on a smoothie and a cold pressed juice. Description was great but alas, noticed near my turn that Apple - means apple juice which was a bummer to me and I took a custom bottle of same cold pressed juice to see 20gm of sugar, so left the line. Not one star since it's my last personal goal on not loading the sugar, my friend took her smoothie and enjoyed it a lot so it's great and like any other juice shops. read more

Great to see this in the AUS Barbara Jorden terminal. They have two self service kiosks (that give receipts) that makes things easy. A caution that they do a small credit card surcharge. Turn around for the drinks was fast and efficient. I got the Sunshine Daydream (large), as I'm not a big fan Peanut Butter, otherwise the others sounded interesting. Sunshine Daydream is very close the Jamba Juice orange sibling drink and hit the spot for me :-) read more

I've been enjoying JuiceLand smoothies for more than 15 years. It's been years since I lived in Austin, and I hardly ever visit anymore - so I was thrilled to find this JuiceLand location at the airport when I was flying out of Austin on Sunday. JuiceLand is a local chain; it's founder opened the first location in 2003, and now there are 36 locations in Austin. (There are now also a few locations in Dallas and Houston.) The Honey Beary is amazing and I always try to grab one before taking a flight. It's a simple light way to fill your tummy but not heavy before traveling. Juiceland airport location has a limited menu compared to locations across Austin. It still has their staple smoothies, some prepackaged foods and smoothie bowls. Staff is usually pretty friendly here and drinks come out quick. My knock on this place is they pass on the credit card fee onto the customer, so it's an extra 2-3% and i believe it's a cashless location. Take away the CC fee! read more

Bottom Line: A good spot to get a healthy smoothie in the Austin Airport. Juiceland is my go to spot to get some healthy fruits and veggies in via a very portable cup. For the morning I like the Percolator with coffee, banana and cocoa. I have also enjoyed some of the slightly less sweet smoothies made with spinach. When JuiceLand was recently out of the Percolator I had to branch out and get the Honey Beary which was sort of like a PB&J in liquid form given the combination of blueberry, peanut butter and honey. Some days the line to order is long but even if it is short it is usually a five minute wait to get your smoothie. There isn't really anywhere to wait that isn't in the way of other travelers pursuing the adjoining market so that can be bit of a game of human Tetris at times. Service is average. read more
